This book had to be difficult to write. For those of us who were of that generation, Vietnam continues to emotionally haunt us . An unjustified war, many of us protested.
This author is a creative look at the horrors brave men faced, and the “horrors they brought about upon themselves.”

An emotional read, the ghostly horrors of haunt these soldiers. It is a fictional novel, but those of us who remember the “like” event are brought back in time, and given a perspective we may not have had at the moment.
Emotionally triggers the guilt of wrong doing and the fear of what consequences are deserved because of it.

The Ghosts of My Lai is the first book I have read by J.C. Braswell and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was well written and I found myself quickly invested in the story in anticipation of what would come next. I look forward to reading more by this author.
