I think this book fits more into the New Adult or erotica genres than the Young Adult genre. It is about 3 high school seniors in Japan, a girl and two boys who form a threesome rather than a love triangle. I think that people who enjoy reading that type of book will enjoy this one.
DNFed because I lost interest on the story and thought that there was a lot of cultural appropriation
I am in awe of this novel! It tackles such challenging topics as mental health, abuse, polyamory, etc, with finesse and grace! Exceptional character development made for a literary delight!
This is a read probably more appropriate for older teens. However it covers some very sensitive issues that can happen in anyone's life. The author writes sensitivity about PTSD and depression is written in a way that helps people teixe that the issues are out there anyone can have them, but it can be taken cate of appropriately.
This is second in a series but each book is written in a way that they can be read in any order. Each book is a story in it's own right and is considered a stand alone read. Excellent. 5 Stars
