I have throughly enjoyed this series. I enjoy it more because each book is a stand alone. I despise cliffhangers! That being said I loved Tank's book. I have loved Nicole from the very first True Brothers MC book. I am hoping that Gillian Archer continues the series with other brothers from the MC club. This series brings me back to Reno. I can really feel the club members riding their bikes and hanging out down at the clubhouse. Gillian makes you feel like you are a member of the MC and are actually there in the mix of everything. I highly recommend this series.
Take a hot, strong, ex-Marine alpha biker like Tank and put him with a sassy, defiant woman who hates bikers like Nicole, and you've got a recipe for a five alarm fire! Between Tank's PTSD episodes and Nicole's abusive flashbacks, they both have a whole lot of baggage, but they just may be what the other needs. The sex scenes are amazing and the chemistry is sweet and bristly all at once. Archer nailed it with this addition to the True Brothers MC series.
Would love to read something by this author again! The story was well thought out and the characters were very likable!
True Brothers is a MC series that I have been enjoying and I enjoyed this one probably even a bit more than the last one. I loved Tank and in fact he is one of my all time favorite MC characters. My problem was that I thought Nicole was just a bit too judgmental and it lasted far too long. I get that she had a background that didn't show bikers in the best of light but her two best friends are in love with bikers and she has been around them enough to know you can't judge everyone based off of one person you had a bad experience with. I also hated the way Jessica acted in this book. It was way OTT (I've never actually seen a bride act that mean and irritable) and so I didn't enjoy the Bridezilla aspect of a character I had previously liked.
However, I did enjoy a lot of other parts of the book and I liked Tank and Nicole together. I loved the way he handled her - he accepted her but didn't put up with her crap. This book had a few unexpected moments that made me tear up that I didn't see coming. Overall, another really good addition to this series - I'm looking forward to more from this author.

Synopsis:
Every loner needs a family—and a heart to call home. The bad-boy bikers of the True Brothers MC make good as a strong, silent type shows the right woman that he can speak the language of love.
With her lowlife father in prison for manslaughter, Nicole Walker keeps her distance from the biker scene—until she meets the stud running security at her best friend’s wedding. “Tank” is big, mean, and trouble from every direction. Yet Nicole can’t take her eyes off his chiseled body, or deny the pure electricity she feels when he returns her gaze. Guys like Tank are supposed to be a one-way ride to heartbreak. So why, after a scorching night in his bed, does Nicole only want more?
From his tour in the Marines to his sister’s disastrous marriage, Tank has seen the worst that life has to offer. Ever since his father’s death, Tank’s been fiercely protective of his family—and the True Brothers have always had his back. But nothing could prepare him for a woman like Nicole, who’s determined to break down the walls around his heart. When violence strikes, placing Nicole in harm’s way, Tank digs deep to find the courage to keep her safe—and the strength to love without limits.
My Thoughts:
This is the third book in this series and it was really good! I have read all three and this was my favorite! Loved Tank and Nicole!
This book has all the elements of a good MC read. Alpha males, smart, sassy women that love them, great secondary characters, believable story, mystery and suspense, funny moments, sweet and tender moments, hot and sexy times!
Tank and Nicole have a rough start because of Nicole’s disdain of bikers. They both have their secrets, but Nicole is harboring a big one that needs to be out there. They can’t deny the chemistry that sizzles between them and they agree to one and done. They both don’t want commitment, but what they feel can’t be denied. I loved how they went from one and done to two and shoo. After that it was beyond their control to not continue to pursue their feelings for each other. There is a lot that goes on and the past rears its ugly head and there are horrible circumstances that arise from it. It broke my heart. The MC family rallies around their own and bring Nicole into the fold.
I don’t want to give you any more information as you need to read it for yourself so you can fully enjoy! If you love MC alpha’s and strong women that love them, then this is the book for you.

This is the third book in the True Brothers MC series and I have loved them all. Resilient is about more than the inner workings of a MC club because this author knows how to write about the brotherhood these men have. It’s also about the women who stand behind their men with love, faith and determination.
Tank and Nicole are two people who don’t believe in relationships lasting more than one night; this is great if you find someone who believes in the one and done theory. Nicole’s best friend was getting set to wed one of the men from the club so when the women needed someone to drive them around for the last minute details Tank was the man. Nicole is a sassy beautiful woman who had said she would never date a biker….well guess what, the sexy as sin man who was driving that day was most definitely a biker.
They have both lived through a lot and kept their secrets hidden and in Nicole’s case had not even told her best friends as to the reasoning she had about staying away from bikers. So what is this big secret of Nicole’s and just how is it going to affect the True Brothers MC? Be ready to swoon and shed some tears because this author has yet again given us an intense book. Now I am anxiously waiting to see which of these men will be next to having their story told.
I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley for a freely given and honest review.
Do you love Motorcycle Club Romances with sexy alpha males and strong, feisty women!? This book is for you! Resilient is all of that. It’s a fast paced read full of hot chemistry between Tank and Nicole. It will keeping you guessing until the end. The end of this book had me sitting on the edge of my seat!
I did enjoy this read BUT I wanted more backstories of Tank and Nicole because I had a hard time connect with them.
Nicole, to me, is a strong and independent women who is also harsh, rude and not very likable. There are reasons for this and they needed to be explained and explored a bit more. I think I would have connected more with her if that was the case. I needed more stories on her life with her family growing up and how she became the woman she is.
Tank was much more likable and relatable but I still felt that he lacked some backstories as well. He was a marine and still deals from that. As a reader, I needed to know more about him and his past. It was clear… he is the strong, alpha male who also CARES. I could see a soft side within him and I absolutely LOVED that!
Check out this HOT romance – out NOW on Amazon.
I am a fan of Gillian Archer! Below are other Motorcycle Club Romances from the series.
The sexy bikers of the True Brothers MC are back and they are as hot and tough as ever! We finally get to see Jessica and Emily's best friend Nicole give in and find love and a lot more with her biker ;)
Nicole Walker has hated bikers and the MC lifestyle her whole life. She can't believe her two best friends have fallen in love with bikers and are embracing the life style. However, she is determined to stay far away from the brothers of the True Brothers MC. She has a secret that she has shared with no one. Not even her best friends know why she hates bikers so much. Nicole has seen how her abusive biker father treated her mother and them, she knows that a biker can only mean trouble and is determined to protect herself. Yet she is finding it increasingly difficult to stay away from Tank, an officer of the MC. With her best friend's wedding right around the corner she has to work with Tank and constantly be around him and she has only so much willpower to say no to the sexy ex-marine.
Tank knows that getting close to Nicole can only mean trouble. With her two friends dating the president and sergeant in arms of the MC he can't risk hurting her in any way. But with her sassy attitude and hot body Tank is willing and even anxious to get burned. He is also determined to find out why she is so set against bikers and everything that they represent.
Another steamy addition to the True Brothers MC series. I can't wait to see who the next brother will be to find love. I hope that it will be Axle!
I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review. Tank and Nicole meet at the wedding the of her best friend where she is a bridesmaid and he is running security. They have their ups and downs and part of that is her father is in prison for murder and wants no part of the biker in Tank. I would love to give a spoiler but I honestly can't because I think this book needs to be read by you the reader.
I love Gillian Archer's True Brothers series!!!! I am looking for the next book because I know that book will be just as good as this one is.
I don't know how you'd give this anything less than 5 stars. Yes, there are references to child/spousal abuse, murder and snarky attitudes. But Gillian Archer sure knows how to write a page-turner!
I laughed, I cried (no, I bawled!), I I stayed up way past my bedtime because I couldn't put it down!
5 stars!!
Awesome contemporary motorcycle club romance. Nicole isn't sure how her best friends have fallen in love with guys belonging to a motorcycle club. That is until she meets and gets to know Tank. Nicole is considered brisk, bitchy and verbal about her opinions. Tank loves to irritate her and tries not to let her or anyone know how much he's attracted to her. They mutually agree to a one night stand. Unfortunately, life and hardships come crashing down around them. Nicole never even told her long-term friends why she feels the way she does about bikers. There are many surprises, excitement and tourmoil. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. i look forward to reading future books by Ms. Archer
Gillian Archer wrote a great storyline with rounded characters that just drew me deeper into their story as I turned each page. Nicole who was judgemental with her friends who were involved with bikers and she swore she would never personally get involved with a biker has something to do with her past but she won't tell anyone.. Tank who is a member of the True Brothers MC was a one and done type of guy whenever he would hook up with a woman. When these two meet it is instant chemistry even though they both try to fight it, especially Nicole. When they attend a wedding of Tank's MC brother and one of Nicole's friends they hook up again. Tank likes the sassiness of Nicole and he starts to wonder if he could really settle down like a couple of his MC brothers. When the motorcycle shop that the club owns is burnt to the ground and a molotov cocktail is thrown through a window of the VP's house they automatically think that it's from an opposing MC. Why is Nicole so opposed to her friends being with their bikers and why is Nicole so against getting involved with a biker? You must read this book to find out!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. However, I liked it so much that I purchased a copy.
I reviewed an advanced reviewers copy of this book
I loved this book and I loved this series.
I loved that Nicole was not afraid to tell Tank how she felt and I loved that he was not afraid to call her out on all of her judgmental assumptions or rude remarks.
Overall a really good book and a great addition to the series
I love all Gillian Archer books and Tank's story I think is one of my favourites. Totally understand where Nicole was coming from after the life she led but I felt very protective of Tank at times when she didn't treat him as well as she should have, particularly when he was doing everything to make a relationship work with her.
The characters were all great, unfortunately Jessica was a bit over the top until her wedding was finally behind her.
Was very shocked when tragedy struck one of my favourite couples and how everyone bounced back after it, was definitely not expecting that but overall a great read again from Gillian Archer. More please!
Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher to the opportunity to voluntarily read and review another fantastic book.
While I like this author, I am not a huge fan of this series. It is really not an mc series, it's definitely mc lite. And in this book the heroine is horrible. She is completely selfish, and completely disregards everyone else's feelings. Readable, but far from favorite.
****4.5 One and Done Stars***
I enjoy this series so much. Nicole and Tank are complete opposites from one another but I think that’s what pulls them together. Nicole is feisty and is a little judgy when it comes to bikers and Tank’s a badass alpha dirty mouth biker who likes to gets under Nicole skin. Nicole past with bikes is not great so she has been judgmental about her friends relationships but Nicole has not ever told anyone about her past so her friends don’t understand why. Tank has issues with women because of his ex-wife did a number on him and he struggles with PTSD from his time serving overseas; Tank is very aware a relationship is not for him but can’t get Nicole of his mind so he keeps her off limits. So what happens when Nicole decides to propositions Tank with a one night stand? What happens when Tank wants one more night? Will Nicole change her mind about bikers? And what about Nicole past with bikes will it come out and haunt her?
****ARC from Net Galley for review****
Nicole and Tank are made for each other. Two damaged souls that recognize each other even though neither wants anything a hook up they really want each other. One and done, yea right. Their chemistry will not let that happen and they keep coming together. Nicole wants nothing to do with bikers and we don't find out why until we get further into the book but once we find out all the pieces fall together, and Tank is not just any biker, he is a True Brother and he has a heart and knows how to use it. This can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the rest of the series as this is a good series and not a hard core MC series.
**Received an ARC copy for review from the publisher via NetGalley**
Pretty tame MC romance. There's good chemistry between Tank and Nicole which was needed since there really wasn't any buildup to their relationship. There is a lot of emotion though in this quick read that certainly pulls a big punch and without it this book would have fallen flat for me. However, I ended up really enjoying it! If you're looking for a quick, satisfying read, look no further!

Resilient by Gillian Archer is a fast paced and entertaining read.
The storyline held my interest all throughout the book, the drama was well done and the characters Tank and Nicole were likable, relatable and very entertaining.
I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.
Looking forward to the next book from the True Brothers MC Series.
*Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via Netgalley for the advance copy*
This is a True Brothers MC romance but if you haven't read any of the others, this is totally a standalone. I know I have read one or two of the books, and remembered some of the characters, but again, it really doesn't matter. Tank and Nicole are our H/h in this story. Tank is a die hard biker and Nicole wants nothing to do with Bikers which is not clear why at the beginning of the book. She is friends with several of the other women whose husbands/SO are bikers, but has always sworn she would not date a biker. I enjoyed their attitudes and subsequent actions based on their conflict and it was fun to read it as it unfolded. The plot was good and entertaining. I am not as much into MC romances anymore, but did enjoy this and do enjoy Ms Archer’s writing. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this for an honest review
