I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first exposure to the Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella books, and I loved it.
This mother-daughter duo shares personal experiences and day-to-day anecdotes of life in the not-so-fast lane. There's a good chance that no matter your age or life experience, you will relate to one or more stories.
Making me laugh out loud at times, it was definitely worth the read.
This was a cute, quick read. The snippets were clever and quirky memoirs, insights into the minds of a mother and daughter duo who could almost be every woman. From the hunt for perfect coffee, to celebrating milestone birthdays. Nothing I felt captured by, nothing overly special, although I did enjoy the journey with two very different yet very same people. A solid 3 stars. ~George
Thank you to Net Galley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC of this book. I've read Lisa Scottoline and her daughter before, and I enjoyed them then...I enjoyed it now. I love books with alternating chapters, and this one alternates between mother and daughter. I love the positive vibe and it was wonderful to see mother and daughter, being of different generations, but really....we're all the same deep down. This goes on sale 7/11/17....it would make a GREAT summer read.
I love Lisa Scottoline as a mystery/thriller writer, but I ADORE her when she teams up with her daughter and writes non-fiction. I laugh until I cry almost every time.
This book is hilarious! These two are like my girlfriends and I but so much funnier because they are Mother and Daughter. I would love to have this relationship with my Mom. I took this on vacation and was laughing so hard people were staring at me. This is a great vaca book that is really more essay style so you can put down and pick up easily. Well done ladies!!

This will become a lifeguard-
a voice in the back of your mind to save you when life happens to help see us through and help us stay afloat!!
You will see another side of Lisa Scottoline. I am a fan, so I appreciate her more.
Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella have yet another hit with I Need a Lifeguard Everywhere but the Pool. Similar in style to their other books, this book contains quick, laugh-out-loud stories about life, love, politics, and everything in between. This book is the perfect read for when you are sitting by the pool this summer, looking for your own lifeguard.
I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
