Have you ever thought about changing the scorecard of your life from money to wisdom? This is the driving thrust of Kruse's life, which Kruse unpacks in Street Smarts from Proverbs. Kruse explores, in specific detail, the game plan he put together through prayer, study and growth in Christ.
His pursuit to find answers has sparked a lifelong journey. Much of it being through the ultimate wisdom book, Proverbs, a book that connects God's heart with street smarts. A highly recommended read to develop ways you too can tweak your daily life for gaining a deeper understanding of wisdom, applying it to life and living a more rewarding existence.
Street Smarts from Proverbs is reading outside of the box. The author talks about Proverbs how Solomon was given One wish from GOD and he wished for Wisdom - so comes Proverbs - King Solomons book on how to make wise choices - the author says there are 12 words that it centers around - they are:
nah - you have to read it to know what they are but man oh man - wow - then each word has four principles. The author believes we have conflict raging inside of us. Proverbs tells us what to do with it to move in a "positive direction" . When conflict comes using Proverbs - I have a problem with that though - I do not have conflict raging inside me all the time - and I do not think every single person in the world has conflict raging inside of them every single moment of every single day like the author Mr. Kruse says. that is why I have JESUS in my life - ever heard of GRACE? I cannot imagine if I didn't - yes then I could see having conflict every second - I would be pulling my hair out - lol - other than that it is an awesome book -
The author broke Proverbs down to what he considered to be the main themes of the book and looked at each one. It was well done and helpful.
Street Smarts from Proverbs is one of the few books I would read over again. I have always loved the book of Proverbs and Street Smarts from Proverbs provides a wealth of practical wisdom, truth, and knowledge on how to use Proverbs in our daily lives. Mitch Kruse presents the truths of Proverbs in a way that I have never I seen before. It's a great resource for every believer to have in their library.
