A very helpful book, that is especially good in reminding the reader to also remember the little details that are es often overlooked, slip through cracks or are seen as not as important but time consuming and because of that don't get done.
This book is a great read to get an overview on how media marketing can be done, not just for books but alosa great amount of tips in general about social media marketing!

It took me some time to read this book as I tried implementing some of the suggestions as I went along. It was extremely informative and made me think about little details, especially regarding social media, which I hadn't even considered before.

Thank you to Netgalley for a review copy in exchange for an honest review.

You know how you start reading a book and in the back of your mind that little voice is saying, “C’mon, c’mon, get to the content already.”? Well, this is not one of those books. Rachel’s 30-day plan is fantastic and right to the point. Each day she teaches the reader a new way to do things, website or app to check out, or some fantastic resource you’ve never heard of. This is one of those books you want to keep on your shelf to reference all the time because it is so packed with great content. A definite must-have for book authors and bloggers.

Thank you to Netgalley, Rachel Thompson and Lisa Hagan Books for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Solid advice for those struggling with book marketing. Smarlty written and helpful to the newer author but maybe less inciteful for those not so new to the industry,

Chock-full of information that can be done on the daily. This is a good resource for inspiring authors to navigate social media to build their brand. While the information and tasks can be overwhelming to an author set on just writing, it's critical for a writer to take time to promote their work or live in obscurity.

30-Day Book Marketing Challenge speaks directly to the social media needs and challenges of the 21st century author. Authors, aspiring writers, and self-publishers can find beneficial recommendations and tools to use in this handy day by day project with weekly wrap-ups. It is convenient to use and is prepared to be in a position to do the workouts with explanations as to why. It consists of social media (even Google +). Every link and task has given me more information on creating a blogging platform aimed at authors and readers.

Thompson, who over delivers on the book’s promise, approaches the topic of book marketing with a proficient showcasing of several platforms and skill sets any author (traditional, independent, or hybrid) must develop for successful online, and offline, marketing. She teaches the reader how to craft a REAL social media presence. This commonsense, exceptionally enlightening, profoundly proficient book is an easy-to-follow manual.

Moreover, Thompson provides clear, compact, simple to-achieve daily, brand-building assignments. In bite-size portions, she walks the author (or blogger...anyone who publishes) through a well-thought out strategy, designed to create and expand the coveted online presence.

Her communication style is friendly and down-to-earth. While most instructional books are prescriptive in nature, she gives you a well-written and impactful dialogue. Her social media and literary dossier speaks for itself.

Thompson’s BadRedhead Media 30-Day Book Marketing Challenge offers authors and book bloggers all of the equipment and resources necessary to efficiently and effectively promote the book of your choice
