This was a quick read, I liked it. It had a good premise and I liked all the characters. The only thing I would have liked is if there were more details or of it was longer. It was very fast paced. Otherwise I liked it

WOW! This was an unexpectedly intense book. Each character was dealing with issues from their past that were influencing their present day and possibly their future. This was a romantic story about three people who desperately needed a second chance at love. Roxy is trying to move on from her ex but life is a little hard for this talented artist. Things look up when she meets Hunter and Nick. Two men who are struggling in their relationship but both are clear in their attraction to Roxy. Afraid of her past and scared for possible happiness, Roxy must decide if she wants to take a chance with these two men. Hunter and Nick are positive in their need to protect Roxy and willing to do anything for the three of them to find their happy ever after. This was an extremely good book. A little short but I liked how the story flowed and the chemistry between all three characters.

This is my first experience of reading a Calista Fox book and I was impressed. It certainly won't be my last.

The characters had a certain chemistry and for a quick read this was quite page turning

Review:

Must be the week for ménage book release week...lol

I read two this week. In this one we have the continuing series of the Bayfront Billionaires, the town where everyone seems to get involved in this type of relationship. This is Roxy's story who, if you have read the series has read about her in the background before. She is a woman running from an abusive relationship. Roxy is an artist, which I liked. She is smart and strong, which I also liked about her. She catches the eye of Nick and Hunter, who both have past demons that they are trying to get past. Both of these guys sexy and make great heroes for Roxy.

The story was good, very sexy. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the suspense around Roxy's abuser. When it got done to the end of the story it was a little anticlimactic. I wish more was done with the suspense part.

I am not sure who is up next in the series, but I will be waiting to be a voyeur in their world.

I'm pretty sure it's love...or at the very least I must acknowledge my own "obsession" with the inhabitants of the Bayfront community; the alternate lifestyle location for Calista Fox's Billionaire men and the women that love them. This is the second book by Ms. Fox that I've read and loved, leading me to the conclusion that I've found a sure fire go to in the erotic romance. Especially of the menage variety.

In this story, old friends Nick and Hunter find themselves in a totally new to them situation with a new to town artists Roxy. Roxy is the center of this tale, as we learn about her past and the reasons why she is in Bayfront. Nick and Hunter aren't exactly at odds, but they are estranged as Hunter has just come back to town after a three year absence where he was completely out of touch with Nick. Fox creates a delicious scenario, as Roxy finds herself equally attracted to both men. She's met them on the same evening and had little chance to choose over the other, so why? Why choose?

It's a delicious exploration of sexual attraction and an insta-love of the polyamorous variety. Because this is a novella, the connection comes about quickly. All it takes is one hint insinuating the possibility and the three find themselves closed away at Hunters penthouse.

Fox cleverly weaves together their stories as aspects of Roxy's past and Nick's greatest heartbreak share a sub-theme surrounding the effects and outcomes of domestic violence. Mostly this serves to add depth to the characters and builds backstories that allow them to relate to each other on a more than primal level.

Both Nick and Hunter are alpha's but they learn they can love and share the same woman with amazing results "She’d become a conduit of sorts that bridged them together again." I'll admit that when I read menage a trois driven stories, I always choose a favorite and I can't imagine how it would work, to not love (or be attracted to) one more than the other, feel something different that nudges them into a favorite position. And then I'm reminded it's not suppose to be about choosing and that's what makes this a sexy and fun "escape" read. 4.5 Stars and recommendation!

IT’S OFFICIAL…. I’m moving to Cali!!! In the latest installment of the Bayfront Billionaires Series, Calista Fox delivers another scorching hot read.
The best place to live in California is Bayfront.  It offers its residents a unique alternative lifestyle and you have many  gorgeous and sexy billionaires for your indulgence.  If you can’t decide which one to fall head over heels in love with , don’t worry you can have two.
Roxy Shea, an artist, is the new resident in Bayfront.  It’s no secret from the beginning of the book, she is running from an ex.  She meets movie studio mogul Nick Faulkner and bestselling author Hunter Valens.  With the stress of being surrounded by threesome couples, a dirty night with the two best friends proves to be just the antidote.  As the temperatures heat to a boiling point, the three of them discover a variety of carnal desires to leave you buzzing from head to toe.
The sex is melting hot with Roxy, however the connection between Nick and Hunter is guarded.  Their mechanics are perfectly timed.   It’s afterwards when they become cautious and restrained toward each other.  I so much wanted them to work out their issues first before rocking Roxy’s world.   Just to imagine how much more explosive the chemistry can be among the three of them is scandalous.
This naughty page turner promises to leave your panties on the floor.  It’s short but oh so racy and guaranteed to hit the spot.   So, set aside two uninterrupted hours for this spicy quick read. It’s has a surprising heart moving story twist. You may find yourself calling a realtor to help with your relocation plans.

This is a steamy fast-paced ménage read. I liked the story as well as the characters. The story really draws you in and the sex is off the charts hot. I loved it!

This was my first book from Calista Fox and I enjoyed it. The characters hooked me from the beginning and I thought my kindle might melt as their story played out-but it would have been worth it. This book definitely is a menage book, so if that isn't your thing (and that's ok if it isn't!) I wouldn't recommend this title for you BUT if you like MFM, I would tell you to give this book a try.

Roxy Shea has a past that she's running from. She finally feels comfortable in Bayford, living her life as an artist and is generally happy. She has good friends and the attraction of not one, but two hot men.

Nick and Hunter also have a past. They were friends for a long time but Hunter left for three years, basically out of the blue, and is now back in Bayford. When they find themselves both attracted to Roxy things definitely get interesting.

This book is full of lust and passion for these three. I'm not kidding when I say I thought my kindle would melt-it was an incredibly steamy read. It's a short read, but it packed a wallop sexy times wise. I felt that pull between the three of them instantly and once I got started with them I couldn't put the book down.

I thought the pacing of this book worked. As I've mentioned, it's a short read but that's ok. I was pleased with where we left the characters. I will say that I went into this reading it as a standalone and I might have enjoyed it a bit more had I read the first books, but I did enjoy it overall. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

Obsession by Calista Fox is book four in the Bayfront Billionaires series.

I found it was a ok read. It is a fast sexy read but not something that I just couldn't stop reading. I felt like this book was a bit rushed.

I give this 3 out of 5

This was my first read by this author. I know it was a novella and I know it had sexy levels that I enjoyed, but for someone who was keeping a low profile and avoiding relationships, I was surprised by Roxy's forwardness and her willingness to have a relationship with not just one, but two guys!

The characters were very direct about what they thought and what they wanted. Hunter and Nick hadn't seen each for three years, yet they were willing to jump in the sack as a threesome before talking out their issues? Might have been more satisfactory as a longer novel, perhaps? I don't know. I finished the book feeling it was all a bit wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am!

I think I need to read the other books in the serious to get a better feel for this author.

OBSESSION is a sexy and drama-filled novella, and if you are in the mood for a quick and naughty ménage, then this is the book for you. It combines sizzling sexual encounters with a short and sweet story for just the perfect, easy read to fill a lazy afternoon.

Apparently Bayfront has one thing going for it, in addition to the rich and famous dotting the landscape - it also has a high number of relationship trios. Even though she was not looking to get involved, especially after running away from an abusive relationship, Roxy Shea somehow caught the eyes of two of the town's sexiest bachelors who are willing to do whatever it takes to make her theirs.

I love a girl who's not afraid to experiment or take a chance on something new, like Roxy, especially after the life-changing experience she left behind. Both men come with their own baggage and Roxy is just the person to bridge the divide between them and when her past catches up with her, the men are there to shield her from it.

This is my first book by this author but I enjoyed it and will definitely be catching up on the rest of the series.

Roxy Shea is finally happy, she has great friends and loves her life in Bayford. The fact that she's just about out of money with no idea what to do is putting a slight damper on it. Roxy is an artist who's hiding out in Bayford, her ex was rich, connected and abusive but with the change in hair, eye colour and surgery she figures she'll be okay.
Despite having sworn off men she finds herself overwhelming attracted to Nick Faulkner and Hunter Valens.
Nick and Hunter were like brothers until Hunter up and disappeared for three years and now without warning he's back but can things ever go back to the way they were before especially considering they are both incredibly attracted to Roxy.

This is a quick easy hot read, the characters are all likeable and while it goes as expected it's nice getting there.

Bayfront seems to be the perfect place if you're looking to engage in a long term threesome. While most women can't find one perfect man, the lucky women who find their way to Bayfront seem to find two perfectly sexy billionaires!

This time the lucky lady is Roxy Shea. An artist who is looking for new avenues to exhibit her art and hopefully make money in the process. She had to run away and change her name when she narrowly escaped being murdered by her violent ex fiancee. She is terrified that he will find her and possibly accomplish his goal of killing her. She is now working to help other abused women and has donated her talent to a charity ball aiming to raise money for a women's shelter. What she didn't expect was to draw the attention of the two hottest men that she has ever met.

Nick Faulker is a Hollywood producer who also owns a studio. He is hosting a gala to help abused women. This is a cause that is close to his heart as not only his mother but also his late girlfriend were both victims of abuse. He has lost hope of ever finding another woman that he can connect with. But when he sees the stunning blonde in red, he knows that things will never be the same for him.

Hunter Valens is a famed writer. After his best friend, Nick, loses his girlfriend to a violent crime, he finds that he can no longer remain in Bayfront. He can't help but feel guilty for envying Nick's relationship and needs to distance himself from him and his life in Bayfront. But when he decides to come back to his hometown and see his friend, the last thing he expects is to find a woman that Nick and he both find irresistible, a woman that seems to be open to the possibility of being with both of them.

Another hot and steamy addition to the Bayfront Billionaires series! Can't wait to see who are next threesome will be ;)

Obsession by Calista Fox
Bayfront Billionaires #4

In Bayfront California billionaires abound and ménage a trois relationships are occurring more and more often. Lucky ladies find two hunks with wealth to settle down with and the pleasure is plentiful.

In this novella Roxy Shea has found a place she would like to stay. With her past in mind she keeps a low profile but still manages to capture the interest of Nick Faulkner and Hunter Valens. This time the men are as new to the idea of a ménage as is the woman but they manage to come together quite nicely – multiple times and in multiple ways. With a bad guy lurking in Roxy’s past and his possible arrival in Bayfront things never completely relax until her past is finally dealt with.

I enjoyed this short read and the characters, old and new, that showed up. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press-Swerve for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Do you get a second chance at love? Roxy feels safe now but she is so afraid that her ex will find her again but she knows that she will need to sell some of her art soon as she is running out of funds. She would hate to leave this town as she is where she needs to be. Nick & Hunter lost touch after Hunter just packed up and left and now he is home but he still hasn't told Nick why he left. And once they see Roxy they both decide that they like what they see and she could be the one to heal their wounds. But would Roxy be up to the challenge of both men wanting her together? Roxy knows that this is a strange set up but she knows that she wants them both and she is just going to have a ball. But the men have to be honest about their friendship and what broke both of their hearts. Nick's ex lover was murdered by her ex husband and it broke both of their hearts as it destroyed Nick's heart and it made Hunter feel guilty for wanting that happiness. Can Roxy take a chance again as was in a relationship with a man that is still looking for her and he will make sure she pays for running away? The past comes to find Roxy and she realizes that she can't lose the men as she cares for them both but will she get a chance at showing them? Nick & Hunter won't allow anyone to hurt her ever again and we fight for this brave woman. Can they really set up house together and be happy? A great intense read.

Post goes live 8 JUNE

Roxy Shea moved to a rich, small community to escape her nightmare life she had with wealthy fiancé. What she found was a new set of friends, beautiful beaches and a savings account that is about to bottom up, but being broke would be better than being in danger. Being an artist, she is trying to start a career at Bayfront, with art classes and community service to help the women’s shelter, but during a benefit, she comes face to face with not only her future but a life style she never thought she would fit in……. a ménage. Now she must figure out if she can leave the baggage of the past behind her and trust that she has finally reached the freedom she longs for to give her heart to another man, or two men.

Hunter and Nick have been friends forever, but a tragic night shook both to their cores. One threw himself into his work as a film maker, while the other ran off for three years, claiming he was writing his next best seller. Nick didn’t understand why Hunter ran, but he missed his best friend. When the wayward friend returns, it didn’t take long for the friendship to pick up where it left off including the secret of why Hunter ran away. What they didn’t plan on was both falling for the same woman, Roxy.

I was torn on how to rate this book. I absolutely LOVED the plot and while that is a great bonus when it comes to reading, this is one of those rare cases that a great plot really hurt my view of the book. If an author is going to write a quick paced book, this means important facts and expanded scenes are going to be eliminated, so don’t do that to a fantastic plot that could have been expanded by another hundred or so pages. I didn’t buy Hunters excuse for leaving, but if given more time in the book, I have a feeling I would have not only fully understood, I would have feel some emotions about it. When Nick finally broke down and told Roxy about his past, I would have been a sobbing mess, had the author allowed that scene to be expanded instead of him telling it in a news report manner.

The ending, was so rushed, I didn’t even have feelings about it and there is a part of the conclusion that I rolled my eyes at the change of personality in a character. With the writing style and talent of the author, the fantastic plot that offered so many emotional avenues for the reader, I was sadden and angry that it was cut short and rushed, just to make it a quick read. Sometimes quality like this is worth taking the extra few hours to read a book.

Little to no actual plot, and not much to read in between the overplayed threesome scenes. Meh.

Obsession by Calista Fox is book 4 in the Bayfront Billionaires Series, but can be read as a standalone book. In this story, we have three main characters: Nick, Hunter, and Roxy. This is a ménage romance story and is full of everything we need in an Erotic novel. Nick and Hunter are lifelong friends but there is a strain in their friendship that unfolds as the book progresses. Roxy arrives in the town of Bayfront and attracts the attention of both men. They each want her but she wants them both. The boys must fix their strained friendship so they can have their relationship with Roxy work.

I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more from Calista Fox in the future.

3.5 Stars!!! If you need a sexy short read about MFM, Calista Fox has it for you with Obsession. I liked the story line, but at felt the rush of the story. That is only reason I rated the book 3.5. I really enjoy the Bayfront Billionaires series.

Nick and Hunter struggle with their past. They just can't move on. But they stay in the entertainment business since they have been nothing but successful and well keeps them rich. But money does not buy the happiness. Nope, its the new girl that moved into their town to start over. Roxy is running from her past. She is no where near to start a new relationship with one men, let alone two. Will it happen?

The passion that these three have, was HOT! Calista will always give you a scorching read that is for sure. That I never find lacking!
