4.5 STARS

I knew this was going to be good and it DID NOT disappoint! If I'm in the mood for sexy shifters, hot AF steamy scenes, and fantastic narration----I grab an audiobook by Suzanne Wright. Seriously, folks she can do no wrong in my eyes. I lurve her books!

So here's the breakdown: Wolf meets Raven and immediately hates her, only he doesn't really hate her. What he really hates is that he can't control his libido! So, they do the whole male/female song and dance for a little while. They face a few challenges from outside sources, but ultimately have lots and lots steamy unparalleled sex and fall in love.

Here's what I love about the series: There's a bit of drama, a dash of mystery, and sprinkle of danger included. If you've read Suzanne before you get it. She follows her formula. If you haven't read Suzanne...WHY???
The characters are awesome, the storyline is great, and did I mention the steamy, unparalleled love-making? Yep. It awesome if that's jam.

I love this series and never want it end. If S.W. keeps writing them, I'll keep reading/listening to them and recommending them. The audiobooks are amazing! Great pace, inflection, and overall performance. 2 Thumbs up!

4.5 “duck filled jeans” Stars

I’m not even going to try and hide the fact that I’m a complete fan of Ms. Wright. Every time a new Phoenix/Mercury Pack book comes out I’m worried she won’t be able to give me another great story, and every single time I am proved wrong.

I have been waiting for Tao to finally get his chance at an HEA for a while now. Anxiously waiting. He’s been one of my favorites (who am I kidding, they are all my favorites) from the very beginning and I couldn’t be happier with what we got in Fierce Obsessions.

As usual with our shifter friends, we get a story full of hotness, sexy times, dirty, dirty mouths and lots of action. Tao was as alpha as I expected, could seriously handle himself in every imaginable situation but especially in the bedroom area (much to our eternal enjoyment). A self-appointed asshole, he made no apologies about who he was and what he wanted, and once he finally accepted his longing for Riley wasn’t going anywhere he went all out in pursuit.

Riley was definitely another kick-ass heroine. She was fiercely loyal to the cute, tiny shifters she had all but adopted, as loving to them as she was honest, bordering on rude actually, to anyone else who annoyed her. I loved how she messed with Tao all the time and at the same time didn’t put up with any crap from him. Together, they were off the scale scorching hot and Tao’s alphaness, as well as his bossiness with a side of jerk, made him almost perfect.

I really liked how their relationship evolved, and how it all falls into place differently than in previous books. I did feel like the action was a bit less and I kept waiting for shit to hit the fan twice in every chapter, and when it didn’t I had a weird mixture of relief and disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of action, mass fights, and intrigue, it was only on a lesser scale, which made for a different pace for once. I keep falling more in love with every member of these packs, and I can’t wait to get to the next shifter’s story. I hope Ms. Wright keeps coming up with more and more wolves for us to fall in love with.

I read Fierce Obsessions practically in one sitting, so that should give you an idea of how engaging it is. I laughed, I awww’ed, and I had to fan myself more than once. I simply had a blast reading it and it’s definitely going in my favorite of the year book list.

Rogue Raven shifter Riley Porter has come to the Phoenix pack along with two adorable rogue shifter kids after saying she needed sanctuary so that she could stay close and watch over the tiny shifters. Not one to easily trust Raven hides behind her sarcasm to keep people at a distance.

Not only head enforcer but bodyguard to the little ones Tao takes his job very serious. Not one to like change or to trust anyone or anything Tao is immediately on guard when Riley walks into his life but a funny thing like fate always has its own plans. All it takes is one night of drunken fun to make these two lower their defenses and BAM chemistry and fate collide.

When Riley’s old flock member and best friend shows up in town to tell her about the surprise anniversary party for her uncles she knows it’s time to return home not matter what it may cost her mentally. With outside forces at work including the anti-shifter organization there’s no way Tao will let her go along and considering what awaits Riley thank god Tao followed.

Like with everything Suzanne writes Fierce Obsessions will have you hooked from the very beginning to the end. The mystery of this story is what set it at a 5 star for me. I’m usually pretty good at picking things up in the story and figuring it out quickly but this one had me on my seat the whole time trying to figure out where the danger was coming from.

This author has been one of my favorites since I read her First book, thank you for this opportunity.

The story was amazing and I can't wait to read more for this author.

Very much enjoyed this, I have only read the book before this. I was not expecting that with Greta. It was nice to read scenes with White Fang (See the book before for whose nickname that is). There was definitely some lol moments that made me laugh.

The characters leapt off the page. The best part was the heroine, no tame miss was she! She was a fun and fierce and Tao was the perfect combination of determined and sensitive to complement her.

Not the best book from this series.

I liked this one.. It was not my favorite by far. But it was still enjoyable. And as always, it was hilarious.

I loved Riley. She didn't take shit from anyone and I think that would be hard to do when you are a Raven in a pack of wolves but she totally rocks it. Tao honestly didn't do much for me.. I just read this book this morning and I already kind of forget him. I remember he was a dirty talker in bed and thats always awesome. But other than that... meeeeh.. Im literally shrugging my shoulders. That pretty much sums up how I feel about him.

I love this series. I love every single female character. I love all the men too but it's really the females that stand out to me. They are all strong and don't take any crap from anyone. Even the wolves that are submissive don't take crap. This is one of my favorite series of all time and whenever I am in a book slump I always pick one up.

I actually like this author's books. (Before I start this review I wanted to get that out of the way.)

I got started on this book and was reading along enjoying myself. It's one of those hate each other but not really type of romances between a wolf guy and a raven woman. Pretty interesting...so I'm still reading.

I totally am liking the female character. She has a bit of sass to her.
"Still, she wasn't a major problem until she grew tits and boys started looking her way; then she turned into a complete nightmare Brash, bitchy, fashion-conscious, and totally obsessed wit the male gender. Seriously, she gave away more pussy than a cat rescue center."

I snorted.

Then I get to one of the sexy times..and so far the sexy times had been pretty hot in the story.
He used one finger to scoop up some of her cream

My mind couldn't function after that. It happens to me. I think I have the OCD.

I keep reading about him doing some munchy time downstairs on her and I kept thinking of the stories he could tell his wolf buds.

Seriously, people..get that stuff checked.

The thing that's even worse? I didn't hate the dang book. I read it all and pretty much enjoyed it except for the almost throwing up part.

I'm going with 2.5 stars for it though, because the creamy stuff mixed in with the supposed alpha male being weaker than his kick ass raven girl friend had me confused.

This series continues to entertain. This book centers around Head Enforcer Tao and raven shifter Riley. I like both of these characters and by the time the story starts, Tao has already changed his impression about Riley (he doesn't like or trust newcomers and especially lone shifters that he thinks might threaten his pack) and so it takes a drunken hookup to bring the two together. Once they are--although they call it a no-strings relationship to hook up, it quickly becomes more. Riley returns for a visit to her raven pack and Tao goes with her to protect her as there is a human mobster attempting to pressure the Phoenix Pack to get Taryn to heel his brother (something that could kill her) through Tao. There are the usual battles and dangers that threaten the pack so nothing new hear but I enjoy all of the characters and Wright's writing and look forward to the next book.

The PACK IS BACK! Suzanne Wright is by far the QUEEN of SHIFTER romance, and I am always overcome with glee when I read her work. She has a particular formula that just works EVERY SINGLE TIME! Each book can be read as a stand-alone; however, I highly recommend reading the entire series (and The Mercury Pack Series), to fully appreciate the beauty of the relationships between all of these characters. The Phoenix Pack is growing and changing and the time has come for Tao to find his mate!

Riley has been living with the Phoenix pack ever since the shelter she was staying in (after leaving her pack) was put in danger. Finding refuge with the wolves was hard for her. Being a raven shifter, she doesn't quite fit in with the pack and the pack enforcer Tao is especially leery of her presence. But the two young children shifters she has been taking care of keeps her grounded. After a night of pack partying, Tao and Riley cross the line and find one night of passion. Although Tao was originally against Riley making the pack her home, he has now changed his mind about Riley and her place in his world. He wants her with his pack and specifically in his bed as his mate.

Riley isn't so certain about letting anyone in. After experiencing heartbreak and trauma from her previous pack, she is hesitant to trust anyone. When problems from her past catch up with her, Tao and the pack are pulled into the line of fire. Can Tao convince Riley to trust him and fully give herself to him?

Told in dual POV, Fierce Obessions is another winning read. The passion between Riley and Tao is explosive, and I love me some pack love. Every time I read a book in this series, it makes me want to go back and re-read each book so that I can savor every single moment. The relationships are all unique, and each character is complex with their background story and circumstances. Riley and Tao both have strong personalities and together they are a powerhouse! With explosive action, intrigue, romance, and passion, Fierce Obessions is not to be missed!

Overall, I will never get enough of Suzanne Wright's writing. I find this paranormal world magical, and every time I join the pack on an adventure I am completely swept away. I adore this world and I cannot wait for more!

Finally! They have a story! After along time of waiting we finally get, to read about them. And man! I was not expecting the intensity of Tao feeling! It literary blew me away!

I really liked Tao in this book. We get to know why is the Head Enforcer, and man, does he take his position seriously. But who knew that he is worst than of the mated males in the pack? I mean he snapped the Alpha's grandmother's head because of a remark...and it was priceless!!!!

I understand where Riley is coming from. I mean, She lost the people that she loved, and yet the pack that was suppose to protect her did nothing when the incident happened. How can you build trust if the people around you are like that?

I love it when Tao's things when missing. There's this wryness and the love all rolled into one. I love how the treat each other.

“What if a mating bond doesn’t snap into place? I know you think it will, but what if it doesn’t?”
“Hear me when I say this: It doesn’t matter to me if you’re the other half of my soul or not. You’re in my soul. I don’t know how you got there, I really don’t, but you are.”

This conversation was the best, you can really feel the insecurities of Riley. The way Tao responded was priceless!

It is never easy to love after losing the people you care about. Yet Tao''s persistence and the love of the Phoenix Pack made it possible for her to feel again. The way the book was written was one of the best story that I have read from this author. I am hoping Dom would have his book. That will truly be entertaining to read!

I have loved this series since I started reading it early last year. The author has a way of drawing me in and keeping my head in the story.

Riley was stubborn! I loved that about her. I've never read a raven shifter either and while it wasn't too much different then typical wolf shifters, I still enjoyed it. She was guarded and closed off, and when her reasons come to light I was able to understand.

Tao was a hunk! All strong and dominant but cheeky and cornet when he wanted to be. He was so protective that you can't help but love his growing feelings for Riley.

So the plot of this book was interesting. It had to do with it only Rileys old pack, but also drama with the Phoenix pack. I loved seeing some of my favorites from the other books, and seeing Greta! Lol I love that crazy old brood!

Overall, this author ever disappoints. She makes each book different, but intertwines all the past couples in with the new couples live story. Add in some steam and action, she has the great workings of not only a great story, but a series that each books gets better and better! I can't wait for more! 4 stars #2OCCJD

I received a free copy from Netgalley and voluntarily writing a review.
I love The Phoenix Pack series. I had to pick up my copy as soon as it was available. This book was good, but didn't suck me in as the other books for the series. I love Tao and Riley. He kept trying to tear down her walls and their chemistry was scorching. The story just needed a little more something.
I did enjoy it though. Loved that Jamie and Dante made an appearance. They will always be my favorite Phoenix couple.

Totally awesome read. Fun, sexy and suspenseful. Kept me turning the pages all night long. Definite 4 and 1/2 stars..!!

As I've come to expect from this author and this series, Fierce Obsessions was a hit out of the ballpark for me. I just can't get enough of these cast of characters! And not only are the characters awesome, but each and every book is filled with a crazy amount of steamy romance, witty dialogue that will have you laughing so hard you can't take it, and enough suspense to keep you glued to your e-reader!

In Fierce Obsessions, we finally get to see Tao and Riley get together. They are friends/enemies at best up to this point, but the attraction between them was so much more than simple lust. They definitely complimented one another well. I was excited to get the backstory with Riley, because she's always been a mystery since she showed up, but it was easy for me to pick out the bad guy despite the circles the story line seemed to run in about that particular aspect. That aside, this was still a kick-ass book and I couldn't put it down from page one. One thing I loved the most about the book, was the fact that her new pack had her back in a way she had never experienced before. It was heartwarming to read and it just made me love this pack even more! So...with all that said you definitely need to read this one. I think it could be read on it's own, but why would you want to miss out on all of these awesome characters and not read them all???

Fierce Obsessions is one of those books that I put off reading. Now, after completing this beautiful story, I am wondering why. Riley Porter was introduced in book 5 of the Phoenix Pack. If you never read book 5, my advice would be to stop and go back and read Savage Urges.
Riley Porter is a raven shifter whose life was filled with discord, pain, and sorrow. And now it seems that the fates are not finished playing games with her life.
Tao Lukas is the Phoenix pack enforcer. He doesn’t like lone shifters, especially ones who might be carrying secrets that might come to harm his pack. But, for some reason he can’t stop the attraction he feels towards the all secretive Riley Porter.
It was nice to see all the old characters from the other books make an appearance. Fierce Obsessions is that one book that you might just want to read repeatedly all summer long. The interaction between Tao and Riley was beyond hot. I really liked how this story turned out it was rather entertaining.

I am a huge fan of Suzanne's books. I loved all her paranormal books so far, starting with Deep in Your Veins series, through Phoenix and Mercury Pack to Dark in you.
I just know that it doesn't matter which book of hers I grab, it will not disappoint me.
This one was no exception. It's true that it is a lot like the previous ones and that they all have a similar pattern, but that doesn't change the fact, that I still enjoyed reading it. A lot.

Fierce Obsessions is a story of Tao and Riley. We've met both of them in the previous books and now we finally get to read their story. Although they represent different species - he is a wolf and she is a raven- they have great chemistry and are perfect for each other, even though they do not see it at first.

I liked both their characters a lot.
Tao - so strong, possessive and sexy as hell and Riley - laid back and funny girl with sassy mouth, but also an amazing guardian to two little orphaned children: Dexter and Savannah. She protected them so fiercely. I admired her for that.

Their story was well-written and filled with plenty of emotion. It was hard for me to put it down. Especially since in this book we also get to read some bits about other members of Phoenix Pack, which is great, cause I miss them a lot and like to see more of them.

If you're not familiar with this series and Suzanne's writing, you should definitely give it a try. You won't be disappointed. She definitely is one of my favourites.
