I got this book because I needed something to say to those who always commented on my "overuse" of salt. After reading this, I realized that the common sense knowledge I had was backed by science. I was able to dispel bad information using the real scientific studies and information found in this book.
It also helped me understand why I my body craves salt, not sugar, and why it isn't a "bad" thing.
I enjoyed the book for the knowledge it provided, but I did not find it super exciting of a read for a non-fiction title.

At the moment I will only give a rating to the book and I hope it is possible for me to write down my reviews on Amazon. Barnes and Noble and Goodreads. I am very grateful to you because your publications are great, especially in the topics that interest me most. Thanks and blessings.

This book truly makes you wonder ... Did we get it wrong?
Is salt really killing millions? Does the human body, which requires salt for its very existence require more salt than today's guidelines suggest? Is it just a fluke that given freedom to eat with no sodium restrictions people from every climate, race, social background, culture will tend to ingest the same amount of sodium per day, 3000 -4000 mg?
Dr James DeNicolantonio makes a strong argument to put salt back on the table and start enjoying our food again. He argues that the other white crystal (sugar) may be the true culprit for the many heath issues facing us today. Too little salt may actually be causing us to answer the demands of our sweet tooth leading to the many health problems facing us today that are blamed on too much salt.
This book is definitely thought provoking and worth reading.
