First and foremost, is it Cat-Sass or Cat’s-Ass? Cuz both work.
Right from the first page I get what kind of style this is. “Have you noticed how peaceful I look when you’re quiet?” instead of “Shut the f— up!” Exactly. Some of these I completely agree with, others are downright stupid, but there’s enough good stuff to outweigh the bad.
One of the bad has to be how difficult—though I suppose not impossible—to do the coloring pages on an ebook. The origami kitten toy would be hard as well. And the connect-the-dots. . . and the cutouts. . .
But some are truly hilarious!
“Stop reading and rub my belly!”
“You forgot your pants, miss.” “Is this your little sister’s dress you’re wearing?” and “Is your outfit a tribute to your grandmother?”
Remember that mean trick where you were weighing yourself and someone adds their foot on the scale? Cats invented that.
“Cats make great drug smugglers” and “Cat lovers are part of a cult.”
I’m the Allergic, so of course I had to take playful offense to some of these.
Public service announcement: do NOT send in those $150!
This feline tries his hardest to be grumpier than the famous one, but only comes off as arrogant. . . which is a typical trait for cats, after all. But all that really matters is that it’s usually funny.

Cute! Fun little 1/2 hour of entertainment with much truth hidden inside (i.e., "Oh yeah, these pages are mine, too I peed all over them," is sadly, the feline truth I'm having to battle an 11 yo feral cat over). More puzzles and such than actual cartoon antics (a la Simon's Cat) then I was expecting, but non the less, a fun break from housework today. Certainly a great little gift for a cat-owned human you may know.
This is a comic/coloring/activity book from internet personality Catsass. And they are just as sassy in book form as they are online. A brainless read that if you really like cats you will love. If, like me you are a dog lover, some of it may be funny, some may not. Just don’t let Catsass know you are a dog lover.

This book left me going 'meh' and that makes me sad...I mean, I love cats, I love sarcastic asshole cats, and I love the combination of them, so I thought this book would leave me giggling. Sadly I felt like the book was forced, everything seemed flat (although the illustrations are quite cute) and not really 'new' or 'fresh'....oh dear god, am I becoming jaded? I could see myself giving this to one of my cat loving friends who I don't know well enough to get them something more personal.
Repetitive and the 'cuteness/rudeness' trope wears thin after a while. Established fans will no doubt enjoy this title, but there's nothing here to entice anyone new to the world of Catness.
I was drawn to this book as I thought it would be a great present for a friend who is a cat lover. I think she would Iove it. I do think it would appeal to persons with a certain sense of humour more but even with the activities it has in it, it would alleviate boredom of some forms of travel too.
This is a great book! It had me laughing the entire time, and I mean laughing out loud! I see my kitties in it! This book has everything about kitties - how to dress them, feed them, annoy them, etc. It also explains why there are no more dinosaurs! (good to know!) There are puzzles and pages that can be colored, games to play a fun book all around. There are a lot of bad jokes, but you will laugh anyway. It is great!
This book would appeal to cat people, but since I'm not one of them, it was not my cup of tea. Would buy this for my friends who have cats. Highly recommended for cat lovers, others might not like it.
Very witty and resonates for any person who has ever been owned by a cat.
I love Catsass! Reminds me so much of...well, every cat I've ever owned, ever. This is not really a comic book but more of a fun activity/coloring book, with quizzes, cut-outs, cards, all sorts of fun stuff. A must if you like Catsass - but might not work so good as a library book (coloring books don't really work well in library setting...)
