Very readable. Takes us through Jesus ministry through his prayers while encouraging us to pray in a similar fashion.
I recommend this book if you prayer life needs a boost.

This was an enjoyable devotional with many good insights. It is always a good us of time to read a devotional. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in spending more time in God’s word. The book is filled with scripture references.

This book would be especially beneficial to someone who is just beginning their prayer life. The book gives clear instructions on how to organize your prayer time.

40 Days Through the Prayers of Jesus is a solid devotional. Each day takes just a few minutes to read but contains plenty for your mind to chew on the rest of the day. And who better to teach us about prayer than Jesus Himself? This book either looks directly at the prayers Jesus prayed or His words and teachings about prayer.

Because it’s written as a devotional and not a scholarly treatise, I found this book very easy to understand and implement. I looked forward to each new chapter, each new day. There’s nothing terribly profound here that the reader probably hasn’t heard before, but by focusing on Jesus’s prayers or teachings about prayers really helped clarify some issues for me. It’s not exhaustive, but it is thorough and thoroughly satisfying.

Beautiful. I really enjoyed it. This book touched my life. Prayer is something we talk about a lot, but we rarely examine what Jesus teaches us about it. In this book the author has done a good job of approaching prayer in a simple and profound way. Jesus shows us the way to a life of abundant prayer.

I recommend this book for all those who want to revolutionize their prayers.

In this book we are reminded that there is no greater example of a life in prayer than Jesus's life. In this book we are encouraged to recreate a life in prayer, a forty day journey.
We are reminded that Everything Begins with Prayer, and that Prayer Opens Up Communication with God that in fact it us prayer that opens up Heaven for us, and the same was true even for Jesus. The importance of making prayer a priority is also made clear, as well as finding our secret place. Choosing Between the Good and the Best is also pointed out.
The author also points out the importance of making wise decisions is also pointed out. Worship should be both the beginning and ending of prayer. The author points out too that Jesus is always enough, that we need to Be Still.
It is important we are reminded that Humility brings endless possibilities. The importance of having childlike faith, as well as praying boldly is also pointed out.
I give 40 Days Through the Prayers of Jesus five out of five stars.

Very good book for one's daily walk with Our Heavenly Father. The book's chapters are labeled for days. This is very helpful in keeping up with the reading as well as giving you time to absorb what you have read. It gives you insight and helpful thoughts on when you pray, how to pray. I am taking this 40 day journey and I am sure I will take it again. This is a must have book for all interested in prayer.
