I received a copy of this book courtesy of NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
In my opinion this book was an “average” self-help/spiritual book. I had to read through a lot of fluff to get the advice and insight I was looking for.
There were some good ideas and suggestions in this book. I liked that the author included questions to help the reader apply the principals learned. The questions at the end of the chapter would make this a good group study.
I think we all experience fear and anxiety throughout our lives. This book teaches us how to deal with each situation.
I struggle a bit with fear (my husband would probably say I struggle with fear a lot) and I never thought too much with anxiety but I can see as I am getting older there might be more things I am anxious about.
This book is really geared toward those people who deal with high anxiety, I feel, probably people who have been diagnosed with anxiety.
This book is very scientific. If you connect with that type of book then this is the book for you. I do not connect with overly scientific things and had a lot of trouble engaging with this book.
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.

I am reviewing Overcoming Fear and Anxiety Through Spiritual Warfare through Charisma House and Netgalley:
This book reminds us that even Christians deal with Anxiety, and that it can take a physical toll on your body, as well as affect you spiritually. The author points out too that there is Hope with Fear and Anxiety.
The author points out that anything from improper diet to stress can bring on Fear and Anxiety. We learn that difficult times can bring about fear and Anxiety, but we can find comfort in our faith.
We are reminded too that worry robs us of joy,
We are reminded too of the importance of practicing gratitude.
The author warns us of the dangers of false religions, of putting our faith in the wrong place.
I give Overcoming Fear and Anxiety Through Spiritual Warfare five out of five stars.
Happy Reading!
Only time will tell how well this works. And for sure I think you need to be a spiritual person to totally grasp these techniques, but I will be putting some of them to use immediately.
I am exploring my spirituality at the moment and also suffer from anxiety so I was interested to read this book. I was bought up with Christian values and thought this book might help. I am afraid that the message the book gave me with regard to being Christian just did not resonate with me. I think you need to be a true believer to gain comfort from this book.
