Great book. Nick Redfern is amazing and does great research. I learn so much from his books. He is the king of the paranormal.
I have allways been fascinated by myths of the unexplained and weird. That is why the US always seemed so fascinating. In Africa we have very few legends of shapeshifters and big unknown animals, if I could call them such.
This book was utterly fascinating
A page-turner from start to finish... Highly recommended.
Fascinating. Nick Redfern did an amazing job of researching and telling the tales of shapeshifter throughout the ages across the entire planet. We all know the werewolf's ability to shapeshift but Mr. Redfern tells us about men in black, black eyed children, black cats, black dog, owls, chupacabra, fairies, little people, all those creepy creatures that live under the bridge in fairy tales, Bigfoot, entities you've never heard of, all shapeshifters. All these creatures have turned up throughout history and the stories all have a similar ring no matter where in the world the stories originated Mr. Redfern wrote this book in a manner that gave me the feel of sitting around the fire on a very dark night deep in the woods listening to a friend telling spooky stories. If you're ready to be scared, grab this well written, very interesting book.
Redfern makes his usual connections between phenomena, and brings us along for a thrilling exploration of the world of cryptozoology, UFOlogy, and the occult. Loved it!
