Normally when I read an ARC I will read the book close to the release date so that I can pimp it out the best I can. This allows me to help the author with promoting their book and also give readers an idea of great upcoming/new releases. However, the second this one hit my kindle I knew I had to dive in right away. I mean, how could I not when I became so addicted to the fist two books in the series? With that, this is a highly addictive series (and story) about love and betrayal. It is high in tension and as sexy as they come. The author is going to BREAK you. She is going to shatter everything you believe and then slowly build it back up again as the series progresses. You're going to FEEL a ton of emotions, and you are going to root for the characters. It's just an all around GREAT series with lots of twists and turns to keep you satisfied and I very much recommend it.

I have no idea how I'll survive the wait until End Game because it will be a while. Talk about a cliffhanger! Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones takes it all.

Action, drugs, sex, suspense. What more can you ask for?

In Bad Deeds, Shane finds a way to get him and his family out of dealing with Adrian Martina and the cartel. He mends his relationship with Derek, his brother, whom hates and loves him. Yeah. Derek is a confusing man. Things are also taking shape with Emily and her new endeavor, which Shane wholeheartedly supports.

There are so many things happening in Bad Deeds. A lot of what's been pestering Shane and his family is now getting resolved, though his dad's health condition is still up in the air. Lisa Renee Jones does a marvelous job of showing to the reader the good side of Derek, and it makes me happy to say I was right when I said Derek was probably not the bad guy he'd been painted to be in the previous two books.

Derek has a good side and I guess he now realizes what he needs is not where he's been, and in order to get what he really wants is to let go of the one thing he thought he always wanted. I hope there's a spin-off with him and Teresa. I can already imagine all the conflict there'd be between him and Adrian, her brother, in order to be with the love of his life. I think Teresa already changed him in ways he didn't see coming. So, Lisa Renee, if you're reading this, I'd totally read a story on Derek and Teresa. Really. I would.

Heck, I even like Adrian. In Bad Deeds, I think he really is trying to change and legitimize everything. Yes. I believe he's a bad, when I say bad, I mean the coldhearted kind that doesn't think twice about killing in cold blood. I think Adrian is that. But I also think, there are things he does in Bad Deeds that show he could totally redeem himself. Oh, how I'd love to see a story on this bad boy too. I'd read it up overnight. Oh, yes I would.

The cliffhanger in Bad Deeds is... is not what I'd expected. It's different to any other cliffhangers I've ever read. I think things look worse than they are. What happened in that last chapter was amazing. I think Adrian didn't know what Ramon was up to and he's saying the truth. If Shane missed that shot, I hope in End Game Adrian does the job for Shane and prove he didn't know what his guy was up to. Come on, otherwise, this will ruin Shane's deal with him and his way of saving his family. Adrian's got something to prove now and he needs to come through. If not, then I think in End Game Shane can go extremely dark for the sake of his family, and if he does, that would turn him into someone I'm not sure I'd like because it wouldn't be who Shane is. I don't know. I'm conflicted with the many ways this can go on the next book, which I hope is the last. I want Shane and Emily (Reagan) to have an HEA in the upcoming book. It's only right.

Bad Deeds is yet another story where Lisa Renee Jones keeps her readers on the edge of their seats.

I loved this! This book picks up where the last one ended. You most definitely need to read the first two books in this series. There's a lot of character growth in this book and you'll see how strong, brave, and fearless Emily and Shane have become in this book. There's more about Shane's brother Derek and what drives him. Unfortunately, there is a huge cliff hanger, so we will have to wait until the last book in the series releases to see what happens.

I received an advance copy of this book from Net Galley and the author. This is my voluntary and honest review.

You can never go wrong with Lisa's books.

I have loved Shane and Emily since they met in the coffee shop. Bad Deeds, I think, is the best of this series so far. It keeps you hooked from the very beginning and you have to keep reading to see what happens next. But O.M.G..., that ending, I didn't see that coming.. WHAT THE HELL!!!!!

I can't wait to get my hands on End Game and to see what happens next.

ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review. Will definitely re-read this once I get my paperback copy.

This was another great read to a fantastic series. This series must be read in order because every book ends with a cliffhanger including this one and if you don't read the books in order you will miss a lot. Everyone is still fighting for control, but the players in this game realize that sometimes in order to get what you want, you must make your enemies your allies. Blood is thicker than water no matter how much you try to fight what binds you together; family will always be family. No worries though because new enemies are around the corner trying to take what you have and what they want at any and all costs. This is a great series full of suspense, romance and twists and turns I can't wait to see what happens next.
