OMGosh!! This series keeps getting better and better with each book, but holy cliffhanger! I can't wait for the fourth book!!

Shane and Emily are smokin' hot together, and I'm enjoying following along with their storyline so much.

True to LRJ fashion, there's tons of intrigue and tons of steamy!

You need to read this series! It's so good!

Lisa Renee Jones you are physically killing me. I love this series like all your others you've nailed it. Just when I think I have it all figured out and hate the bad guy, ugh you swoop in and bam... never saw that coming, "TOTAL GAME CHANGER!"
With a cliffhanger that will not only leave you shouting in protest, but shaking your head in disbelief of no way, no way, no way. then start the series all over again just to make sure you did not miss one little minute detail between Shane, Emily and Derek! January cannot come fast enough..

Lisa Renee Jones does it again with a crazy, intense, drama filled book ending in a cliffhanger! This book series leaves you on the edge of your kindle wondering what is going to happen next. I was so surprised the twists and turns of what was going to happen throughout the story. There are so many layers to this plot leaving Shane & Emily navigating to their upmost ability to get Shane's family business in good standing. If you love a series with crazy plot twists, plenty of family drama, and a steamy hot couple pick up this book!

Lisa Renee Jones and this series does not disappoint!! You think you know where it's going and you have no idea. Shane is getting deeper and deeper even though he does not want to become what his family is.

Emily is trying to keep Shane from going to the dark side. She's always been the good in his life and she's determined to not Shane go. She has been his calm in the chaos of his life but it's a hard one for her.

And one heck of a cliffhanger! I swear I'm going to have to read all 3 parts before the final book just to keep everything going and the story right in my mind.

Bad Deeds is an intense read, full of questions, anxiety, lust and suspense.
So some questions have been answered, some puzzles solved but I am still hanging there wanting to know what is going to happen next! Brandon constantly need to fight to protect what is his, Emily included.

I was totally intrigued when I read the blurb for Bad Deeds. As I was reading the story and Shane became darker and darker and Emily tried her best to keep him from becoming something and someone he never wanted to be, I understood. Or, at least I thought I did. Lisa Renee Jones has given us a cliffhanger beyond cliffhangers. Surprised, stunned, shocked … that doesn’t even begin to describe what I felt when I read the last paragraph in Bad Deeds. Now, let’s see where this amazing author takes us in the future. I honestly don’t think that her dedicated followers will allow her to get away with what she did without a little screaming and yelling. She just has to make things right … she has to give us some kind of a happy ending … there is no way she can leave things the way she did.

No, there is no way to explain anything that went on throughout this story. There are too many players, too many twists and turns and I just would not be able to do it justice. Shane is powerful but Emily has more power than either one of them could imagine. She has a way with the Brandon men and she understands what they are feeling, what they are going through and can be there to bring them all through the darkness into the light if they allow it. She seems to be the glue holding them all together. But, she is just as much as a target as Brandon Enterprises, David, Maggie, Shane and Derek.

Shane is doing everything that he can to protect Emily and save Brandon Enterprises. Derek is finally facing what he got the business into, what is really going on in his family and what he has to do to be the man he knows he can be. Maggie is finally facing her sins. Brandon Senior is being his ornery self throughout the story. The Cartel is showing its hand and may have committed the ultimate sin. Where to from here?

Lisa Renee Jones amazes me with her storytelling abilities. She’s fluent and the words just flow off the pages. She doesn’t give us time to breath, to just enjoy the characters. She makes sure that her reader is involved and intrigued throughout the book. You have no idea where she is bringing her characters or how she will get them to where she wants them. She makes her men strong and her woman stronger. She is the master of the cliffhanger, the master of intrigue and the master of complications. She’s an edgy, brilliant writer that will keep you captivated from beginning to end (or to the cliffhanger of the year).

I don’t even know here to begin with this. Lisa has a knack for crafting stories that you become so lost in, that once you get to the end it hits you like a 2×4 to the face. This book? She shot me. I turned that last page and was gasping. I actually thought this was the perfect ending. I know people hate cliffhangers, but this one felt right.

Shane and Emily are in the thick of it. This book picks up exactly where the last left off and from there everything begins to unravel. Secrets are revealed and alliances are made. Some of these, like me, you will see coming. Others, you will be chocked just as much as I was and HOPEFULLY as excited as I am!

Things are getting twisted and in the greatest ways.

Also, we need to talk about Derek. I know. Everyone hates Derek.

I mean, I HATED him too. Until about 30% into this book. Then Lisa does that THING that she likes to do and you and up really liking the guy you hated even though he’s still not a good guy. See what I mean? All situations, or most, are subjective, and the same goes for people. This is something that translates fantastically into Lisa’s worlds.

THEN we have my white knight. Shane wants so badly to protect those he loves, but how deep is he going to go to do that. How many decisions is he never going to be able to take back. UH! This book was really great. It had the romance, it had the suspense, and it had the down and dirty of these business deals. I can’t wait to see where the next book takes us. Totally worth the wait.

Ok, my heart is pounding right now and I cannot wait until the next book! This is so insanely good and intense and I love the characters and hate some of them, which is the point, I'm sure.

This book is so good and yes, you need to read the others in the series as I am going to go back and do but the author helps us with a legend in the front to let us know who everyone is. The books grabs you from the beginning and keeps you until the end and wow what an ending!

5 Stars to Bad Deeds: Dirty Money #3 by Lisa Renee Jones.

The epic saga continues with even more intense moments!

Bad Deeds continues exactly where Damage Control (book #2) left off. I must tell you that if you haven't read the first two books in the Dirty Money series beforehand, you must! Bad Deeds is not a standalone and you will be otherwise lost. There is so much drama and angst going on. There are many secondary characters that each play different roles in this story. This book is suspenseful and complex.

Emily and Shane have their troubles. Their own and shared. But they have each other and that isn't going to change. Shane will do anything to keep her safe. He will hurt anyone who tries to harm her in any way. Including his brother.

Derek is a real a-hole! I didn't like him from book one. I thought he was deceitful, selfish and completely disloyal to his brother. However, after reading this book, I feel like I understand him a little better. I was happy to have some of his POV so that I could be inside his thoughts.

In this book you will be stressed, wondering what is going to happen and who it will involve. Who can you trust? There is a lot of dark to keep you on your toes. (And chewing your nails.)

Of course, as in Lisa Renee fashion, there is a cliffhanger! And now I am holding my breath waiting on the final book!

If you like intrigue and suspense featuring a sexy hero, a smart, resourceful heroine, with a wealthy dysfunctional family, you need to grab this series.

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it.

Well now, that was an INSANE addition to this series. Seriously. Just when you know what everyone was up to, Lisa pulls the rug out from under you and you're caught totally off guard. Definitely have stay on your toes around here. Between Shane's brother Derek and his father, I never knew what was going to happen.

I'm glad to see Shane and Emily work through some of their trust issues, because they're going to need that trust if they're to handle this crazy world they're in. And when you finally get to the end of Bad Deeds, you realize that nothing is what you thought it was and you're gonna need the next book STAT.

I can't wait to read the final book. I am dying to know what's going to happen!!

Lisa is one of my favorite suspense writers. She knows how to write a story and weave in intricacies that lay the foundation for story and characters. I loved loved this series, it also helps that it's about organized crime, which I'm a sucker for . Great read.

Well, there isn’t an end in sight yet, but the story just keeps getting better and better. Shane and Emily have been put through the ringer now and have come out the other side, stronger and even more in love. NOTHING is going to part them now. Not one thing. Except death- and with this story, the shadow of that threat is forever lingering in the background.
I can’t even tell you where my head is at right now. That ending?? So not what I wanted, even though I was on tenterhooks for the last ⅓ of the book. I kept wait for that damned ‘shoe to fall’ but not like that, Lisa. Not like that.

Seriously? Another cliffhanger? I really thought we were finished with the takeover and brother storyline, but I guess not. I admit it was a great book (and a great series, so far) but I was hoping we were finished with Shane and could move on to Seth or even Cody. But, nope. We have another 300+ pages of the same storyline coming. Ugh! I'm just going to sit in the corner mumbling about another book while telling everyone I know to read the series.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

‘I keep walking, leading her deeper into the circle of fire that is my family, selfishly needing her in this darkness’

Bad Deeds is the third book in the Dirty Money series, this is not a standalone and you will need to read the first two. Shane and Emily are trying to navigate a very dangerous situation that puts them and Shane’s family in harms way. Coming back to save his family business Shane finds that cleaning up his brother and father’s mess is going to be a lot harder than he could imagine. If feels like they have threats everywhere they turn and you just it will create a lot of suspense. A dangerous cartel moving drugs through their pharmaceutical business, his mother’s infidelity, his father’s cancer and his brother inability to see past his own wants and needs.

Shane and Emily share a bond that allows them the kind of trust that takes most people years to obtain, although I think the trust is needed for the story it makes them less relatable and I find myself doubting their real connection. The chemistry between Share and Emily is still pretty hot but the nice part is you see them start to grow as a couple and move past the insta-love/lust they originally had. I still think there is a lot that will come out about their past and what sort of future they will hold in the fourth book.

Shane’s brother Derek who has been villainized in the past two books and starts to play a bigger role in this book. I think Derek showed the most growth and you start to really feel for him and his relationship with Teresa. While he has seemed pretty destructive so far he has some good reasons why. When he realizes just how much he cares about Teresa he know he has to make some changes to be the man she knows he can be.

This one ends on a pretty big cliff hanger which will make you counting down the days to the 4th and final book of the series. Even though a lot happened in the book I felt like we didn’t make it much further into story line then what was covered in the first two books. With that said there are a lot of details hanging out in the balance right now so I am hoping all of they all get explained in the last book. If you were a fan of the first two books I know you’ll be in the same boat as me needing to see how this series turn out.

REALLY LISA?! REALLY!? I love you woman! This was such a great continuation of the Dirty Money series. But holy crap, my heart is nearly shattered. In all seriousness though, I love this freakin series! Theres so much angst, tension, anger, love, hate, sadness. Literally all the feels and Lisa captures every single one perfectly. Completely addictive and gut wrenching to the very last word. This book gave me chills. So good!!

Emily and Shane still cant catch a break. Just when things are good and going well, another someone or something comes along and shakes them to their core. This one is way more serious than any other. It seems one thing after another keeps trying to rip them apart. But with all the bad things out in the open, there's no where for them to go but up. And they will stop at nothing for that to happen.

The odds are so stacked against Shane its not even funny. I am literally worried how this strong man will keep it together. But since Emily is at his side, she grounds him. Makes him enjoy life, at least for a little while. I love how open he is with her. And how open she finally is with him. Their progress has been one amazing journey to read.

This book wrecked me in many ways. The family struggles, the couple struggles, just so much hitting this two at one time. But Lisa is amazing at taking broken things and putting them together again. She has motive behind the madness and its completely spellbinding to wait and see how it all turns out.

Lisa, you’ve yet again won me over. I don’t even know why Im surprised about it anymore. Cause you do it every. single. time. I cant wait to see what book four holds. Cause Im hoping and praying its some relief for Shane and Emily.

This is the third installment of the Dirty Money Series and each book keeps getting better and better. While they aren't able to be read as standalones they are all worth the read. Jones provided the perfect amount of refreshers from the prior novels to tie in the current happenings. Saves you from going back to a prior novel to remember exactly what happened. This novel is an action packed, sexy, and fast paced read. A whole new side to Shane is seen in this one - and I loved it. Not to mention the chemistry between Shane and Emily - off the charts! 4.5 solid stars

Wow, I just want these characters to not be in this situation anymore. And cliffhangers are the worst. Next book please!!!!

Bad Deeds - the Dirty Money series is picking up where it left off from Damage Control and its even better than the first two!!!

If you didn't fall in love with the Dirty Money series yet - you'll sure be goner come the end of Bad Deeds. It will leave you reeling, begging for me. Lisa Renee Jones has done a phenomenal job in bringing these complex characters to life while still leaving some mystery to them. The progression of the series is staggering. The development of the series just keeps getting better and better. I couldn't put it down; the story stayed with me and sent my mind reeling long after the last words read.

This can't be the end ... it just can't. This installment of the Dirty Money series is just too damn good to end. It ends with a maybe cliffhanger and I wasn't ready for the end when it thumped me in the forehead.

The Brandon family is the perfect combination of good, bad and everything in between. Shane the ever sexy younger Brandon brother proves why he is at the top of the pack and Pops aka daddy Brandon proves why he is a low down dirty so-in-so. Big brother Derek proves that their is a heart beating in his chest and mommy Brandon just so misguided. The combination of all these characters makes Bad Deeds one of the best contemporary romances I've read this year. Now, the family dynamics are great in this tale because they are so very dysfunctional. With the addition of Emily, the cartel and all the other players just makes this story even better.

The pace of Bad Deeds is excellent and stays focused on the lead characters. Sometimes, when there is a great cast of secondary characters authors are sometimes sidetracked. When sidetracked authors will start to narrate the lives of the secondary too soon in a series and this removes the focus from the main characters. There isn't a risk of that here but what the reader gets in return is the perfect combination of heat and angst.

The heroine (Emily) is so much stronger but there was a constant hope of her having a more kick-ass role. You know ... slapping a couple of the characters on my behalf. Though Emily isn't kicking butt and taking names, this doesn't take anything away from her character. In this installment, the reader witnesses the heroine taking her appropriate position beside the hero. Her character possesses a nice quiet strength that was a pleasure to read.

As mention before, the book ended with a CLIFFHANGER. Personally, I am happy with that because I can go for another installment of the Brandons. There is definitely some unfinished business and this reader is looking forward to seeing it completed.

Wow, just Wow. Bad Deeds left me breath- and speechless.

Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is the third book in the Dirty Money Series and is not a stand alone.
I recommend to read Hard Rules and Damage Control first.
Bad Deeds picks up where Damage Control ends.
Emily and Shane are a couple. Emily is Brandon sen. secretary. And Derek, Shane's older brother threatens Emily. He accomplished to meddle with a dangerous cartel and endangered the whole family. Now Shane has to pick up the pieces and try to make things right.
When you liked the first two books, you're gonna love this third.
There's more of everything. More drama, more danger, more violence and more feelings, both good and bad.
I love this series so much, I can't say how much. I love the writing and I love the words. I love the characters- I could feel their emotions in the words.
Favorite Quote: "Life isn't all roses... "'
I recommend this book, give 5 Stars and can't wait 'll the next book in the series releases. Thank you Lisa Renee Jones.
