Rupert, Rupert, Rupert...thanks to this Jack Sparrow-wig wearing delectable hero, I'll never look at a windy day the same way again. I loved "How to Tame a Beast in Seven Days" something fierce, but I feel like Ms. Sparks delved deeper into our cast of characters with this one and really took us on a whirlwind adventure. I can't wait to read about the rest of our Embraced crew.
I am really enjoying this new series by Kerrelyn Sparks she does a great job developing a fun set of characters, with an interesting plot, and a new "universe" while hooking you to want more. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
I still feel that the romance covers--and not even paranormal romance at that--may result in this book missing some of its target audience, but the book itself did not disappoint. I liked her vampire books well enough, but I LOVE this series. I adore this series. I want to find people who loved Sharon Shinn and force them to read this book. IGNORE THE COVER, I will shout, THE BOOK IS AWESOME.

WOW WOW WOW!
Now, paranormal, historical, romance, suspense, it has it all! I am so very impressed with this series to date. I must say this was a fantastic addition to the series. I was so surprised that I was just as captivated and enthralled by this one as the first! I so enjoy the way this author has of telling a story in words and pictures in the mind it brings. I love the imagination shown and how each piece grips you and keeps you held until you finish reading, but still you want more! For such a unique book, I have to go five stars! So I can only say buy this series. It truly is enjoyable. I was given this book in return for an honest review. Anna Swedenmom
