This is my first read from this author and now a big fan. One Taste of Angel is raw, gritty and just sexy! If you want a MC read that is full of sexy MC boys, who are bad ass and will do anything to protect their women, then this read is for you. Review on blog on release day.

This is an amazing story of how love just lasts no matter what happens. Eagle's one true love died and he never loved again. Till she comes back and is very much alive. A must read...

"Few reach a moment in life when they seriously consider whether this world is worth taking another breath for. That place where pleasure and pain meet. Where you realize love and hate are the same thing. Where your life plays out in slow motion inside your head and you wonder: if you could change one thing, would it make a difference?"

Violetta Rand is a brand new author to me, and when I read the synopsis of One Taste of Angel, I just knew I had to check this book out. Told from dual points of view, One Taste of Angel follows the story of Eagle and Serafina. Eagle is a devoted member to his MC club. There is nothing he wouldn't do for his brothers. The last few years have found Eagle just going through the motions. The loss of his only love forever plaguing him....that is until he meets Serafina. The connection to Serafina is intense and doesn't make any sense to him. He doesn't understand the pull that feels, but finds it hard to stay away....Serafina had her reasons for escaping her past. As far as Eagle is considered Angel is dead and buried. Serafina went to great lengths to protect Eagle and never thought that she would see him again. However, fate had other plans in mind. Fate has made these two lovers cross paths once again. What will happen when Eagle learns the truth about Serafina??? You'll just have to pick this book up and see for yourself.

Overall, I found this book to be a pretty enjoyable read. I'm always, always, always on the lookout for a good MC read and love checking out new authors. One Taste of Angel hit all the marks for a good MC read. It had action and some suspense. That being said, I do like for my MC books to be a bit more intense. For me, the darker, more dangerous and grittier, the better.

I thought this story had an intriguing plot with a god twist. I thought the characters were interesting and I enjoyed learning about Serafina and her motivations for her actions. I liked Eagle's devotion not only to his woman, but to his club. Together, I thought that Serafina and Eagle had a great connection and I enjoyed seeing them together.

One Taste of Angel is a quick and easy read. I think this series has a lot of good potential and I'm definitely interested in seeing where it will go next.

Amazing story! The author takes the reader inside the close-knit, loving brotherhood of a motorcycle club and lets us see the people behind the leathers.

Eagle...what to say about that man? All I can say at this point is he is not one to mess around with. Angel grows in this story, a lot. So much is revealed about her that you will never expect. This book is a crazy journey of life threatening situations, unbelievable twists of fate, a man who knows how to love hard and a broken girl.

I'm just in awe over how the author brought everything together beautifully. Simply brilliant. I love surprises! Passion, acceptance and healing. That is what filled the pages. The characters were believable, the plot was well developed, and I felt an emotional connection with the characters.

I prefer my books on the naughtier side, my sex a little more detailed and frequent. Aside from that, this book had everything I want in a book; great characters, suspense, an easy to understand plot, and a happy ending.

In short:
Hero 5/5 | Heroine 4/5 | Plot (Point, Originality) 5/5 | Writing Style 4/5 | Steam 4/5 | Romance 5/5 | Angst-Suspense 5/5 | Darkness 2/5 | Humor 0/5 | Secondary Characters 3/5 | Drama-Conflict 4/5 | Mystery 0/5 | Twists 5/5 | Pacing Steady | Action 4/5

"There's family, and then there's kindred hearts."

Knowing my addiction to MC Romance, this story was dangled in front of me as a temptation that I couldn't resist. I took a chance on an author that was new to me, and now Violetta Rand has a new fan. I'll most definitely be back for more when Once Chance With Starlet (Iron Norsemen MC, #2) is available.

Eagle is the president of his club. Having moved up the ranks in the last few years. It's surprising, considering his grief had him so twisted that his behavior had become reckless and he was a danger to himself. After years of self-destructive behavior he was finally at the point where he was ready to make peace with his past, and move on. He knew that he would never forget, or stop loving his Angel. But maybe there was another woman out there that would be able to fit into his club lifestyle and keep his bed warm at night. Just because he couldn't have the one his heart yearned for, didn't mean he had to be alone for the rest of his life, right?

She's been on the run for years. Hiding from her enemies, and herself. Her heart was broken by her own actions. Her love lost by her own choices. Her memories bittersweet. She ran to save him , but lost herself in the process. Now she's stuck living a lie, trying to move on, unable to forget.

As a reader, being inside the heads of both characters was a head-trip. I knew things about each that the other didn't. It was killing me to wait for the cat to be let out of the bag. I was dying of anticipation and excitement, and glued to my kindle, knowing the the next page would be the one where it all came together. The author kept me on the edge of my seat with the secrets and suspense. And did I mention the passion? OMG! It was H-A-W-T! All the things I enjoy in a good MC Romance was present. I dug the club business and the villains that gave me someone to hate, and the brothers that gave me someone to hope the next book was about. Fortunately the author gave me a sneak peek, and I know who it will be. The line forms here...

I loved this book. It's my first book by Ms. Rand and I loved it. Angel/ Serafina is great. She is a survivor who'll do anything to protect the people she loves even if that means breaking her own heart. Eagle was yummy. I didn't like his reaction to finding out that Serafina is actually Angel but he made up for it. I loved how he pursued Serafina also. I am now a fan and I can't wait for more on this series.
