I LOVED this book. There was action and passion and sexiness. It was just great all around. I couldn't put it down once I started it. I haven't read any of the other books in this series and didn't feel lost, so I'd definitely say it was a standalone, but now I want to go back and read the other books because the little views we got of the other couples that I'm sure are from the other books was great. I love seeing characters from other books in series.
Adam was mega hot and I loved his roughness and his protectiveness of his family. He's strong and not willing to back down when he knows he is right. He's very much so an alpha male.
Tori was great. She’s in a terrible place because she is trying to help protect people she cares about and it's putting her in horrible positions where her life is on the line. I loved seeing Tori's powers building as she learned that there was so much more to them than what she initially thought they were.
Watching these two very strong and independent characters come together while showing that they have softer sides and feelings that show they aren't always as confident as they normally seem.
I absolutely can't wait to see who is in the next book. I'm hoping it's Bear because he's awesome.
Wicked Kiss was a fantastic blend of sass, humor and alpha male-ness you can't help but love. Another hit in the goodreads column
Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti is the fourth story in her Realm Enforcers series, a spin off of the Dark Protector series. The first story in the series, Wicked Ride, was one of my best reads in 2015 so the series is definitely on my must-read list. Each story can be read as a standalone romance, but there is a continuing story arc throughout the series. The underlying plot is that a drug has been developed, Apollo, that is lethal to witches (and equally to humans). Figuring out who is trying to destroy the witches, and why is at the heart of the series, and in each romance, a witch main character has been part of the action. The Dunne brothers in particular have had their hands full. As Realm enforcers, they've been working undercover with motorcycle clubs who have been dealing with the drug, trying to track its source. This time, it's Adam Dunne who has an extra task – to rescue and protect Victoria Monzelle, the sister of his brother Kellach's new wife.
At the end of the previous story, Wicked Burn, Victoria was working undercover for the DEA in a deal to save one of her band members, who'd been caught with Apollo, from going to jail. She was kidnapped by unknown forces, and at the start of this story she's rescued by Adam Dunne. She's only just discovered that other realms – vampires, demons, witches exist. At the same time, she knows that there is something odd about her. She has the ability to detect power fields around people and objects and often affects electronic and mechanical devices when she is around them (usually for the worse not the better). Part of Victoria's undercover work has been to track Adam's activities as a member of the Titans of Fire Motorcycle club and its suspected drug activities. Having him become her protector complicates things. Not to mention the searing attraction between them! As they get closer to discovering the truth about Apollo, so too does the danger to them both. A mating bond to Adam could give Victoria the protection she needs. Can it lead to love too?
I really enjoyed this story! The author does an excellent job with the characters and settings involved in the worldbuilding, and it's fairly well established by now having been part of two series. But even for a newcomer to the books it's easy to find your place. While several characters do make appearances in this book, they are not all introduced at once and they play important roles in the continuing story arc.
The romance between Adam and Victoria is a fun and sexy affair. Victoria is a spirited woman with a tender heart. She doesn't back down from Adam in the least, even when he's adamant that she listen to him for her protection. The sparks that fly between them are not just figurative – they have a very explosive chemistry that ignites when they touch, and Adam isn't above using his witch powers to enhance their sexual encounters. Adam is a typical alpha male, but he respects the powers Victoria has too and encourages her to learn how to control them. She's a worthy mate for Adam even if she sometimes believes she is no real match for a powerful handsome man like him. Her self esteem and belief in herself improves over the course of the story and by the end she's confident in her ability to be a worthy partner for Adam.
Besides the steamy romance, there is plenty of action that moves the plot along at a swift pace. The Coven of Nine that heads the witch's realm is severely fractured and Adam has some difficult choices to make that test his loyalty. The story arc for this book concludes in an exciting and satisfying way, and there are some great hints as to what is to come. Wicked Kiss is a sexy, exciting, paranormal romance and will delight new and established fans alike.

Folks you are going to need to pay attention here because Wicked Kiss is going to go fast. Victoria and Adam, Dunne family, the council, the King, Bear. That's a lot to take in...and I loved every bit of it.
Victoria and Adam are oil and vinegar. He's smooth, by the book and she's saucy and spirited. Together then had me laughing and dying to find out what comes next. Lots of banter fly between them as the struggle to find out who is distributing Apollo, deal with the order from the council to mate or else, and avoid who is after them. Banter isn't the only thing between them. Hot steamy goodness to make everything even more exciting...just watch out for that mating brand! LOL!!!
Along for the ride are previous characters, particularly the Dunne family, Bear and the King. The Dunne's and Bear I am familiar with and love seeing them again. I can hardly stand the excitement to know Bear gets his own book. New to me, however, is King Dage. This is when I kick myself for not having discovered Ms. Zanetti and the Dark Protectors sooner.
Some plots were easy to determine other were a mystery until the end. Honestly, I didn't care if I had the entire plot in front of me, I know there would still be surprises along the way for me to discover. Which is why I recommend reading the Realm Enforcers to everybody. The story ends on a high note for most everybody and has a feel that, with the exception of Bear's book, this series is ending very soon. I know fans of this series as well as I am going to miss it.

Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti is as sexy and explosive as I know it would be. Extremely fun, action packed, smoking hot and completely engrossing. Tori, Adam and all the usual suspects we’ve come to love Control your attention from start to finish.
After being recruited by the DEA to help find the makers and distributors of the deadly Apollo drug, Victoria Monzelle’s world is turned upside-down when she finds out the world is a much bigger place following her kidnapping by the witch council. To avoid an unjust death sentence and buy some time, cold strategist and protector of the Coven Nine, Adam Dunne volunteers to mate her forever.
Tori doesn’t like being ordered around though, and she’s not about to trust a man who’s been hiding his colored fire abilities, no matter how attractive he is or how dangerous it is to be pursued by witches. Can Adam protect her from his world’s inner turmoil?
They couldn’t be more different. She’s wild and carefree. He walks the straight and narrow and is ruled by duty. They literally come from different worlds, but when these two are in the vicinity sparks fly. Adam loses his control and feels alive around the fragile yet brave Tori. And Tori feels safe around him even when she’s never been able to trust anyone but her sister. They complement each other in the best ways and I loved watching their relationship turn from lust-hate to lust-love and oh boy was it lustful and passionate!!
Fans of the Real Enforcers and Dark Protectors series will enjoy every moment of this skillfully written novel. Witches, shifters, demons and vampires we’ve grown to love mix in with the main characters and overall series arc to make this a fun and exciting page turner.
Wicked Kiss is book #4 in the Real Enforcers series by Rebecca Zanetti. It is a standalone, paranormal romance. It’s action packed and deliciously sexy. Told from two points of view with a happy ending.
Amazing and absolutely awesome! Adam is 100% alpha nd by the rules. Tori is super sassy and a rule breaker. Rebecca knows how to keep a series going and never disappoints! A must read and already purchased!
4.5*
I just have to say I LOVE Rebecca Zanetti! Her writing just keeps getting better and better. I had a hard time putting it down but as always life gets in the way of my reading. *sigh*
Victoria "Tori" Monzelle and Alex Dunne are a perfect match the chemistry between them is off the charts and their whity banter made me laugh out loud.
Tori has been somewhat adrift her whole life. She plagued by her odd effect on any type of machinery. At the moment she's being blackmailed by the DEA to keep her friend and sister outside of jail and find who's dealing the deadly drug Apollo. Alex Dunne is her first suspect but she can't get past her feeling that he's more then he seems but not someone who would sell drugs. Alex rescues Tori after she's kidnapped her odd effect on engines keeps him from getting her out of Dublin. Hiding her out should be fine if only the little hellion would obey and stay where she's told. He's told by The Council of Nine that he must mate Tori or she dies now that she knows witches are real. He will not force a mating He's to roughnfor the likes of a fragile human even if she all he can think of. Tori knows Alex is way out of her league, to rich to gorgeous and to damn controlling. With everything working against them can they see what's meant to be or will they both end up losing their heads.
I’m all in with Rebecca Zanetti

Rebecca Zanetti is turning into my favorite “go-to” author. I want to read anything and everything she writes because I know I’ll get rich, fully fleshed out (yes, kind of a pun) characters, great world-building and nicely plotted action. Sure, the hot sex and demon/vampire/witches/werebears are nice elements but what really counts is that Rebecca can write.
So every chance I get, every Wicked Kiss or Wicked Bite or more, I’m in. You will be too.
This is an honest review provided in exchange for an Advanced Reader’s Copy of the two books mentioned above. Go get ’em.
After the condemnation of his brothers Kellach and Daire, and their respective mates, by the witch nation, Adam Dunne is the only brother left officially on the Enforcer payroll. His position grows increasingly important as they try to figure out who in the Realm has it out for the Dunnes. Plus, there’s the fact that the highly potent, and deadly to witches, drug Apollo is still being sold and distributed, making Adam’s undercover work more crucial. But when Victoria Monzelle, sister to his brother Kell’s mate Lexi, finds herself in trouble with the witches, Adam vows to mate her in order to save her life.
Ever since her sister mated Kell Dunne, Tori has known there are supernatural species living amongst humans. What she didn’t count on was this knowledge being the deciding factor of whether she lived or died. When Adam swoops in to seemingly save the day, Tori is grateful, but despite the attraction she feels towards Adam, she doesn’t like the feeling that either of them is forced into a lifetime commitment. As the danger they both face increases, they’ll have to learn if they can put their apprehensions aside and trust one another completely.
Being the forth book in the series thus far, there were a couple of aspects to the story that simply excelled for me: the sex and the action.
The romance / sexytimes between Victoria and Adam was spot on. The development of a potential romance between the pair has been teased to readers from the first book, and I was happy that it came to fruition. Once the “marriage of convenience” trope took place it’s not long before the two are acknowledging the chemistry and doing something about it. But, turns out, Adam mating Tori is not such a simple act since he wants her to be his and not because either of them are forced. This ups the tension between the sheets each time they’re together, and Rebecca Zanetti paces this to perfection while we’re waiting for more to happen between the couple.
Also, there’s a lot of action in Wicked Kiss since it’s pretty apparent from the beginning, and from previous books, that someone has it out for the Dunne family. I always find following action sequences while reading to be a difficult matter. I think because they’re just so fast-paced that it’s hard to track the movements of the characters from moment to moment. Zanetti really excelled at making these scenes come alive in my head while reading.
Of course, there are two sides to every coin. Where this story didn’t quite work out for me so well was the fact that there was just too much thrown together, tying up too many loose ends from previous books. I would have liked it more if we were definitively dealing with either the issues going on in the witch nation, and Dunne family, or the drug Apollo. By employing both issues, the story became too weighted down, and caused the storyline to end up relying on cookie-cutter / stereotypical actions and reactions from many of the characters. However, playing devil’s advocate here, the jam-packed storyline does free up matters quite a bit which I’m hoping will allow the next book in the series to tackle more uncharted territory and feel a bit looser.
Overall, a very satisfying romance read. You’d probably enjoy it more reading from the series beginning, but so far, this spinoff from Zanetti’s Dark Protectors series has stood out well on its own.
Tori was in Ireland and being abducted by witches as she had seen a firefight. Paranormals were still a secret from humans unless they mated one. Tori had been held hostage for an entire week in various luxurious Dublin locales. This was the first time Tori had been blindfolded and she figured that wasn’t good. She had been kidnapped from Seattle. She had learned a week ago Immortals really existed. An explosion rocked the van she was in She slid around in the back of the van then it stopped cold. The front doors opened and she heard men fighting then the back doors opened and someone was dragging her out of the van and then tossed her over his shoulder. The man had a ski mask on. The man turned the corner and ran down an alley holding her in place. He turned some more corners and then they were in another alley in front of a motorcycle. But because of Tori’s “oddity” it wouldn’t start. The man tore off Tori’s blindfold and had already uncuffed her. Then he took off his own mask and it was Adam Dunne. He Told Tori it had been nearly impossible to find her. Then Tori realized Adam was a witch. Adam said he had about one hour to get her on a plane and out of the country. Tori asked how much trouble Adam would be in if they got caught and he said “ Treason and death sentence”. Adam talked on his cell then told Tori to strip she had been tagged and they had five minutes before the Guard got there. Then Adam put his tee shirt on Tori. Adam was an Enforcer for the Coven Nine. Adam told Tori they were in a life or death moment. Adam also told her he would knock her out if he had to just to make sure they both lived. The Guard was then there and throwing fireballs at them and Adam was throwing them back. Finally they could run again and Adam used magic to get in a safe house. He had screen with which he could see outside. Adam never felt free as duty and family always called. He was the protector of the Coven Nine, of his people and he lived that responsibility to his bones To be on the opposite side of the bus even for one campaign ripped claws through Adam. Adam told Tori humans didn’t know about other species, more powerful species because they didn’t want humans to know. Then Tori asked why she had been kidnapped and Adam said she was at the wrong place at the wrong time and she had seen witches get in a firefight at that point her life became in jeopardy. Coven Nine was the ruling body of the witches are fractured right now and they didn’t want any threats out there. Adam said he had to get Tori to the states and off f the grid. Tori’s sister was mated to Adam’s brother. Adam also said his brothers committed treason helping one of their cousins going against the setting Coven Nine members which now there was only three instead of nine. Simone who was Tori’s friend was ordered to death by the Council. Even though she was set up Simone was found guilty of Treason.Right now Simone was safe as they tried to prove her innocence. Then Tori asked Adam about her sister and Adam told her she was mated to his brother Kallach. Then Adam told Tori she was enhanced he could feel it. Adam said he was four centuries old when Tori asked. Tori is caught by the Guard. Simone is pregnant and her mate Jase who is a Vampire. Tori had Jase at her side as he was her representative when she went before the Council. Peter Gallagher was the one talking for the Council. Peter said Tori would have to die as they must eliminate all threats. Peter also said they couldn’t get rid of all humans because were all males, demons had few women, and Immortals often find mates within the human population. Peter said they were at war now and more enemies than he knew including the Realm, and the bear and dragon nations. Adam came into the room and said he would mate the human. Peter gave Tori and Adam twenty four hours to mate and he wanted proof. Tori told Adam anything with a motor or electricity she can make go dead and not on purpose. She also said she could sometimes affect machines on purpose but it was hard and often she couldn’t. Adam called someone and when the person answered Adam called him King. and he was Dage King of the Realm. Tori was trying to get information on the drug Apollo and get it to DEA Agent Brenda Franks to save her friend and band mate. Tori’s sister was Detective Alexandra Monzelle.
I liked this story a lot I would give it a 4.5 if I could. I loved the plot and liked the pace. I loved how Adam was determined to keep his vow and loyalty to his family. I really it wasn’t a case of instalove. I also loved how Tori’s and Adam’s relationship grew. I really enjoyed the action. I loved how close Tori and her sister and mom were and How close Adam and his family was. I really enjoyed reading this book and it kept my attention all the way through it. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend. .
Tori and Adam could not be more wrong for each other but as the story develops you see how they truly complement each others personalities. They balance each other.
I really liked them both.
The story it's self was very fast paced with lots of action which I always enjoy. I wouldn't recommend reading this one if you haven't read the first few books. It somehow connects to each other. For a complete story yyou have to read all of them.
Short Review:
Rating ~3.5 stars. Review will be posted on blog 12/07/2017
I really like the Realm World and was waiting for Adam's story with increasing anticipation!
Adam Dunne is the Witch Enforcer, a very dominant, protective and uptight man according to Victoria. Victoria Monzelle is the sister of the heroine Alexandra from book 1 and who happens to be the mate of Adam's brother. When Victoria is kidnapped, Adam is tasked with finding her and returning her home since the rest of his family have been branded as traitors by the Witch Council. I don't think one can really enjoy it if they reading this as a standalone because a lot of plot/characters are carried over from the earlier books in the series.
Adam and Victoria are extremely attracted to each other despite not wanting to be but it seems like a mating will help protect Tori and Adam no longer wants to fight his attraction to Tori is all for it. Tori on the other hand is desperate to help her sister and family and protect them even if it means lying to everyone.
I liked the plot and as I said I really wanted to read Adam's book but Tori's behaviour made it difficult for me love and enjoy the book. It just didn't make sense at times and then the continued lying and escaping when all she had to do was tell the her truth and trust Adam got old fast. Which is why anytime I felt connected to them as a couple, Tori's behaviour afterwards would sever the connection.
Overall, a decent addition to the series but personally not my favourite. I'm so looking forward to Bear's book though!
Och Adam and Tori are scorching hot! And I loved Tori's quirky enhancement, especially the way she learns to control it with Adam's help. But what I enjoyed the most was how she's able to get under his skin and totally rattle him. She takes him to the edge of his control and knocks him over. And she totally enjoys doing that to him. Yes, she enjoys what he does right back to her too. And the final showdown was awesome! so glad that Peter gets his just desserts.
Rebecca Zanetti has written another winner. She captures your interest from the beginning, and she draws you further into the story until the end. This is not a standalone, and you definitely need to read the first three books to understand what is happening in this book! This is the fourth books in the series, and it is Adam and Victoria’s story. Adam is an enforcer, and he is very controlled. Tori is rebellious, and she has only recently found out about the paranormal world. Tori has been kidnapped, and Adam saves her. However, in order to save her, a mating is promised. The two have had chemistry since book one, but they have never given into the temptation. When these two finally get together, sparks fly! Opposites really do attract. However, they have a lot of work ahead of them, in order to clear everyone from treason. There is adventure, intrigue, and plenty of sexy times! I can’t wait until August for the next book!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
Hoping to find out exactly who set up Simone in this series, book four drags it out a bit and leaves a reader hanging. This book is set in the same time as Simone trying to defend herself against the remaining three council members on the Coven Nine. Victoria is the dumb schlup who is caught up in it because she's in the wrong place at the wrong time. Specifically she sees Simone getting taken and watches witches fighting. Since it is a no-no on the reveal to humans, Victoria (Tori) is taken by the witches to be dealt with and it isn't a simple slap on the wrist.
I'm honestly confused by this book. Usually, Ms. Zanetti writes complicated story lines with well thought out subplots, conflicts and awesome characters. We already have sexy Adam Dunne who is the cousin of Simone. He's a powerful and sexy Enforcer who kicks butt for centuries and is loyal to his family. But in this book, he comes across as totally led by his dick. And unfortunately, Tori has the leash to his cock and it isn't a good thing. Why? Because I loathed Tori. It is very rare I dislike a character created by Ms. Zanetti. Tori is the first that I just can not stand. She is too stupid to live. Her choices are bad and she just keeps screwing things up. She is a total fuck up and creates chaos all around her. She should be a chaos demon. What exactly does she bring to the table? A screwed up psychic ability she can not control nor tries to gain control. She intentionally places herself in danger due to her willful ignorance. Instead of trusting the right people, she keeps going off on her own when she is ill prepared to do anything. She has zero training in fighting. She has ZERO common sense. She is easily manipulated and constantly needs a knight to rescue her dumb ass. ARGH! She drives me crazy.
I felt bad for Adam. This is the woman he's stuck with for life? This woman who has low self esteem and probably runs around going, "Oops, did I do that?" Talk about mating down. Adam has his work cut out for him to protect this woman who needs to wear protective gear and kept in a bubble. I'm not sure why he even likes her. Their sex scenes are awkward because Tori keeps protesting and playing kinky brat. Adam is a dominant she does not deserve. Whilst the sex does get a bit kinky with some delicious fireplay, most of it feels off for me because it is dubious con more oft than not. Tori keeps protesting and Adam just walks right over it. No means yes, anyone? But she's the cock tease who keeps asking for it and playing the brat which seems to come naturally for her. Not of fan of brats, this is another mark against Tori for me.
Overall, I had to ignore Tori and focus on the plot. This fourth book feels more like a filler to get us to the end game. Who is behind the fall of the Coven Nine and when do we find out who has it in for Simone? That is what I want to know. This paranormal romance is recommended to those who have vested in this series and wants enjoys a kinky alpha male.
This is book 4 in the Realm Enforcers and I loved it! We meet Tori after she’s been kidnapped and is being moved again. She has accidently learned the week before that Immortal beings exist and that’s why she’s been kidnapped. Then she’s rescued by Adam Dunne. This is one of the most exciting books that I’ve read in a while. There’s so much going on from the first page all the way to the last page! Adam and Tori have wicked hot chemistry going on between them and I thought at one time that the pages were going to melt out of the book. I really need to read the other books in the Realm Enforcers series just to see if they are as good as this one was. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley

I love this series and was so excited to get my hands in Adam's book. Adam is my favorite Dunne brother! I just love him! WICKED KISS is the fourth book in Rebecca Zanetti's Realm Enforcers series. The series is a paranormal series with witches, shifters, vampires and demons and focuses on the Dunne family of witches. The Realm Enforcers series is a spinoff series from the Dark Protectors series that focused on the vampires in the same paranormal world. You don't need to read the Dark Protectors series before picking up this series, but I highly recommend both series. I love them and the Dark Protectors series would make a great binge read. I recommend reading each series in order, but each book can be read as a standalone. WICKED KISS was action packed, full of danger and smoking hot romance. It kept me riveted and I couldn't put it down. I was already in love with Adam before picking up this book and fell even more in love with him while reading his story. Victoria was just perfect for him! Their banter was fun and the romance was hot. Rebecca Zanetti is one of my favorite authors because she's a great storyteller that always delivers an exciting love story. I highly recommend anything she writes and I loved WICKED KISS!

I have liked the Realm Enforcers Series as much as I did the Dark Protectors so was glad to see the fourth book, Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti released. I didn’t think Victoria Monzelle and Adam Dunne would be a great match but Ms. Zanetti really made this couple work in the story. It is action-packed as always with hot romance between two self-reliant characters who fall head over heads for the other. The villains are persistent and dangerous. Wicked Kiss is one wild ride.
Fans of Rebecca Zanetti will love this addition to this series, it is one of her best. Fans of paranormal should check out this powerhouse writer’s books especially Wicked Kiss along with all of the Realm Enforcers books.
While I am giving this book 4 stars, and I did enjoy it, I found myself putting it down occasionally because I was so annoyed by Victoria. Just about every bad thing that happened to her was because she stubbornly refused to listen to anyone else. And then someone had to come rescue her. Because she wouldn't listen. I had no sympathy for her.
Great characters. Lots of emotion and action. This may be my favorite book in the series! I posted a review on Goodreads.
