I am a big Ronica Black fan and I was so thrilled when I saw she had a new book out. I'm happy I was granted permission to read this. This was a deeply powerful read. Johnnie needed something to help spark her creativity and her friend Eddie recommended a different approach. The moment Johnnie met Elaine the electricity between them was tangible. The book immediately developed into a deeply emotional journey. The synopsis of the book does not do it justice. This book was so much more than two women meeting and helping one another heal. Ronica did such a fantastic job making you feel their emotions and weaving the story. You could feel Elaine's anguish over losing Barb and Johnnie's torment about her past. Michael and Eddie were great best friends and Henry and Jolene were wonderful. I absolutely loved this book and am thoroughly spent after reading it in one day (sharing their emotional journey was exhausting, but in a good way). Thank you Ronica for another deeply fantastic read!
