This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Cat Got Your Secrets is the third and hopefully not the final book in the Kitty Couture Mystery series! We catch up once again with Lacy Crocker, where she stumbles across another murder—her father’s best friend winds up dead in a freezer. And guess who’s the prime suspect? Lacy’s father! So, you know immediately that Lacy is on the case, dragging her friends along with her and annoying Detective Jack Oliver along the way!

I can’t say this enough, but I love this series, and this book was a great addition! It was so much fun to read (just like the first two books) and I love how the characters have all grown as the series goes along and their relationships with one another has deepened and developed. For example: Lacy and her mother have definitely grown closer, especially in this book, and I loved that. It even made me tear up a bit because their relationship has come a long way. It was also great to finally hear about Jack’s past, and get to know him better. Lacy and him better be gettin’ busy in the next book #TeamJack.

The mystery itself was delightful and engrossing! Definitely not predictable like some cozies! Overall, this book is amazing—actually this series is amazing! If you loved the first two books, then you’ll love this one! It’s by far my favorite in the series!

I haven’t heard any plans for a fourth book in the series, but I’m praying and crossing my fingers that I’ll get to read more Kitty Couture Mysteries!

Oh Lacy! This third installment in the Kitty Couture series finds Lacy trying to solve a murder mystery that implicates her dad all the while also trying to resolve her romantic triangle with Jack and Chance. This is one I'd recommend primarily for pet lovers because if you don't love animals, you might find it a bit over the top, what with the costumes and bark mitzvah. That said, it's a classic and entertaining cozy that's a fast read and just twisty enough in the plot that it will keep you guessing. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Book three in the Kitty Couture Mystery series. I fell in love with this series after the first two books thanks to the pet treats, the pet costumes, and Lacy herself. Those three together are the perfect combination to create something funny, mysterious, and captivating all at the same time. Lacy has gotten comfortable with her life and is gearing up for Valentine's day which is just around the corner. Things are going smoothly until she goes to drop off a party pet treat order to discover that one of her Dad's friends has been found dead. As if that was not bad enough he quickly becomes the number one suspect once they know he was murdered even though Jack does not really think that he did just that the evidence at first suggests so. Before she even really gets involved in the investigation she starts receiving threats that cause her to spend quite a bit of time with Jack as he stays around to protect her which I admit I enjoyed since I am rooting for him and not Chance. The case quickly collides with the secret case the two of them have been working on making things become a whole lot clearer then they were in the last two books. This book is a must read for fans of cozy mysteries that include animals since I smile every time that Penelope climbs onto the Roomba for a ride. I really enjoyed reading this installment so it gets 4/5 stars.

Cat Got Your Secrets by Julie Chase is the third story in A Kitty Couture Mystery series. Lacy Marie Crocker owns Furry Godmother in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a pet boutique and organic treat bakery that caters to all animals. She had a large family and great friends that all add to the series with fun and witty repartee The beauty and charm that is central to the South and New Orleans is always a joy to visit.
Lacy is dropping off dreidel dog treats for a bark-mitzvah at a catering hall when she discovers that her father’s friend, Wallace Becker is dead. Her father was the last person to see Wallace alive, she has to step in to sleuth to save her Father. Lacy starts delving into Wallace Becker’s life to find out who wanted him dead. She needs to work in her investigation in between baking pet treats, creating costumes and helping with the preparations for a party honoring her father. In addition, she has two suitors, Chase Hawthorne and Detective Jack Oliver. Each vying for her attention.
Revisiting this series is a delight. I look forward to the next in series and read each one cover to cover. This third in series is my absolute favorite. it has many different elements that are well crafted and all blend together to add to the fun. The sleuth is fun, the characters are wonderful and each adds to the fun. The pet treats are a perfect addition to each book. Crooked Lane Publishing has a winning series and I look forward to the next in series and a long series to spend with Lacy and friends.
The added addition for cat lovers is most wonderful costume wearing cat who rides the self powered vacuum cleaner ! This series, just keeps getting better and better! How can you not love a book that has a star cat character named Penelope that wears fairy wings and rides around on a Roomba? I LOVE IT! There is so much goodness to gush about held in the pages of this book. The characters, once great, are now amazing and I just can't even handle the love triangle that is developing. I can't even pick a side, as I could crush on both! The mystery was so well written that I was left guessing right till the end and was pleasantly surprised, which doesn't happen often! Once again the descriptions are beautifully written and I was immediately sucked to New Orleans and left craving a beignet and a stop into Furry Grandmother to purchase some bling for my fur babies. I could go on and on about this book, but why don't you just go grab a copy for yourself and see how wonderful it is! You will not be disappointed!

Cat Got Your Secret was a sweet intriguing mystery. It took me a chapter or two before I was hooked. It was lighthearted and the mystery had some great twist. I would recommend it mystery and cat lovers alike

Cat Got Your Secrets by Julie Chase is the third book in the Kitty Couture Mystery series. This book stands easily on its own although I do recommend the others in the series. Lacy is the owner of Furry Godmother, a pet boutique and bakery. Lacy's father is accused of murdering a friend, and Lacy finds herself being blackmailed. A cliffhanger from a previous book is solved, but it is explained along the way so reader of this book alone will not be lost. This is a clean, light cozy mystery. While the mystery is not completely strong, it does move along quickly and kept me interested. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more in the series.

Lacy Crocker has settled into a routine with her business and her social life in New Orleans. Her business, Furry Godmother is a pet boutique and organic treat bakery that caters to all animals and is booming. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, she’s busier than ever. She is also helping her mother organize the upcoming National Pet Pageant.

When delivering an order of dreidel-shaped doggy biscuits for a Saint Berdoodle’s bark-mitzvah, Lacy stumbles onto a murder scene. Unfortunately, the last person to talk to the victim alive was her own father.

It’s up to Lacy to clear her father's name from the suspect list before Detective Jack Oliver decides to arrest him. Things are as simple as she thinks they should be when she starts receiving threatening letters from a blackmailer. Threat aside, Lacy doesn’t know when to stop.

Series: A Kitty Couture Mystery - Book 3
Author: Julie Chase
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Publisher: Crooked Lane Books

The third addition to the Kitty Couture mystery series, Cat Got Your Secrets is a fun and entertaining read. The character of Lacy is interesting even though a bit immature at times. However, this helps the reader understand the gravity of the situations Lacy gets herself involved in. Which her friends and family are continuously trying to prevent her from getting hurt by.

The character of Jack Oliver is a wonderful romantic lead and is clearly the soul love interest for Lacy. Chase is great, but he is too far into the friend zone to be a real love interest. It will be interesting to learn how this plays out in future additions to the series. Will Lacy grow up and accept that Jack is the only man for her?

Lacy’s mother and father are parents who care deeply about their daughter and also their community. They may not be perfect but they try to do the best they can under the difficult circumstances Lacy puts them into. It would be great if Imogene played a bigger role, and the hints of otherworldly inferences could be made a little more prominent. This will be interesting to see if this happens in future books in the series.

Of course, the story is filled with animals of all types, cats, dogs. llamas, and more, as well as their eccentric owners. Each of the animals and owners is a welcome addition to the story and the plot.

The setting of New Orleans is portrayed vividly. If the reader closes their eyes, they can almost smell the Cajun food cooking, hear the music of the bayou, and feel the sticky heat on a humid day. For anyone who has ever paid a visit to this historical and busy community, they will have a sense of going back in time. For those who haven’t visited New Orleans, they will definitely want to spend some time there.

Ms. Chase writes an easy to read, an entertaining and soul filled story of murder, relationships and ultimately, home and family. The plot is easy to follow if a little disjointed at times. The reader is never led so far down another path that they forget which direction the story is going.

Cat Got Your Secrets is highly recommended. Love of animals, food, and family will draw the reader in without ever having to read the first two books. It is hoped that this series continues on for many more books to come.

Wow! That was unexpected (in a good way). I always love when a mystery is personal, and this one definitely is. Lacy has her hands full trying to prove her father's innocence, keep her mom happy, and run her business. The story was a lot of fun and had some great humor, but the love triangle is getting a bit boring.

The Kitty Couture Series is a pet lover's dream.  A clever mystery, fascinating and memorable characters (human and animal alike), a great setting (who doesn't love New Orleans) and just the right dash of romance - what more could a mystery lover want? And it's newest installment, Cat Got Your Secrets has everything that makes this series a winner.

Lacy Marie Crocker’s shop is the destination in New Orleans for furry and feathered fashionistas. She's busy, she’s happy and she thinks murder is behind her - until her father becomes a suspect in a murder investigation.  Detective Jack Oliver is doing his best, but following leads takes time, too much time.  With his life and his reputation hanging in the balance, Lacy is determined to root out the real killer. Murder, blackmail, fashion and fabulous fur balls make for a fantastic read.  I absolutely love Lacy, her quirky family, her roomba riding cat and all of their friends.  Cat Got Your Secrets is a wonderful addition to this fun, colorful cozy series and it is definitely worth reading.

You can't help but chuckle whenever Lacy describes her cat Penelope's interaction with the Roomba (robotic vacuum cleaner) that roams her shop, The Furry Godmother, described as a pet boutique and organic treat bakery.

Set in the Garden District of New Orleans, this is the third "Kitty Couture Mystery" by Julie Chase. These adventures combine my favorite elements for an entertaining cozy mystery: a good story that comes alive through well developed characters and relationships, good dialogue and succinct narrative that puts you right in the scene.

New Orleans provides just the right backdrop for the saucy banter between the main characters: Lacy, owner of The Furry Godmother; Jack, NOPD homicide detective she's getting to know; and Chase, lawyer and long time friend her mother is pushing her to date.

Each book is a nice easy read. This particular book deals with Lacy's father being suspected of murdering a good friend. Naturally Lacy decides she must find the real murderer and so the adventure begins. Without giving too much away, the "secrets" in the title refers to the fact that blackmail is also involved.

I will buy this book

Another fun mystery in the Kitty Couture series by Julie Chase. Not only is this book really fun, it has a great mystery also. There are twists and turns around every corner. I found this book to be a quick read, with a well developed plot and characters. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you love cozy mysteries, I strongly recommend this book and the series.

I received this book in exchange or a fair and honest review

I loved this latest Kitty Couture Mystery by Julie Chase. Once again Lacy Crocker is a magnet for trouble, and serious fun and mystery ensues. All of the characters in 'Cat Got Your Secrets' are delightful, in some cases with laugh out loud lines. I especially liked the resolution of the story arc carried from the first books in the series. I was left with a tantalizing glimpse for the future, and can't wait for the next in the series.

I loved Cat Got Your Secrets. This series by Julie Chase quickly found a place in my heart with the first book in series Cat Got Your Diamonds late last year. I was even more enchanted with Cat Got Your Cash when I got to read it in February and was anxiously awaiting Cat Got Your Secrets! I was so delighted when I was approved to read and review it on Netgalley. This one is out September 12th and I am so excited for you to read it. Like all great trilogies the third book is even better than the first two!
Main character, Lacy is a costume designer for animals, baker and shop owner in New Orleans, from a fell known and wealthy family and yet so down to earth. She has a wonderful employee who happens to have been her Nanny, a devoted best friend who would do anything for her and a love sick younger man who is at her service, if only in the friend zone. Lacy has a great head on her shoulders, naturally curious, smart and connected to the local police detective who she can match with her wit and charm and devotion. On top of all of this Lacy has a quirky family, community obligations and expectations, a mild coffee addiction and the most wonderful costume wearing cat who rides the self powered vacuum cleaner as if it was a parade float at Mardi Gras! There is so much to love about this series and I am delighted I got to read and review it! Now that all three books are going to be out, I think it would make a great holiday gift for the cozy mystery lover in your life and for yourself. Perhaps picking them up for Buy A Friend A Book Day on August 31st! For you friend or yourself! I won't tell! Crooked Lane Books has a winner in this Kitty Couture Mystery series and Julie Chase has everything you need in Lacy's store, even a tiara for your turtle...

I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy mystery. We get to see some growth or maturity on Lacy's part. I enjoy her friends and romantic interest in the detective and her friend, Chase. I like the location, New Orleans. I look forward to reading the next one in this entertaining series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy mystery that furthers the adventures of Lacy Marie Crocker in New Orleans. I think Lacy is a fantastic character and I like the backdrop of her Kitty Couture business. As usual, this one had great characters and a fun and interesting storyline. I can't wait for more!

The third in the Kitty Couture Mysteries, Cat Got Your Secrets is my first encounter with this author. Protagonist Lacy Crocker tries to deliver an order and discovers a body; apparently not the first time she's been privvy to a murder scene. Unfortunately, this time they look at her father as he is the last person to see the victim alive. Lacy can't help herself--she's nosy--and this time her dad may be involved. She's rabid to prove him innocent, despite the warnings of both her mother and Detective Jack Oliver (a "friend") to stay out of it.

Lacy Marie Crocker owns the Furry Godmother's boutique and is quite the artiste. February has arrived and she is very busy with Valentine decor and custom made pet treats. Furthermore, Lacy's mother has volunteered her for the National Pet Pageant and embroiled her in the Welcoming Committee. Not a problem, she can throw the cat in her carrier.

It's a cozy mystery. They are a clean, fast read and don't particularly race toward the finish and this one doesn't either. Along the way, we are introduced to periphery characters, none of whom are well fleshed out. Lacy seems a bit vacuous, immature, and is still slightly estranged from her mother. There are sub-characters, but we don't get to know them well, though my favorite was her shop assistant, Imogene.

To add to the fun, there are any number of group pet names such as Cuddle Brigade, Jazzy Chicks, and Llama Mamas as well as treats like fresh pupcakes and tuna tarts. They are points of interest and humor that lightens a plot lacking heavy substance.

Too many wringing hands and not enough action for me, I guess. The plot heats up at the climax--but then the story is over. Okayyy.

I was given this download by Crooked Lane Books and NetGalley and appreciated the opportunity to read and review. Recommended for a fast, clean cozy mystery.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but after the first chapter or two or Cat Got Your Secrets I actually had to double check and make sure I was reading the series I thought I was reading. The elements I loved so much in the first book didn't kick in until a few pages later (probably because Lacy's father had just been accused of murder and she wasn't doing the stuff she usually does.) Once the plot picked up speed, I was hooked. Although I'm not much of a pet person and definitely into real life pet cotoure, Lacy's wacky clientele is lots of fun to read about.

This was a new author for me. I will keep her on my watch list and recommend this title to others.
