The first in the series was such a cute and quick read. This one was along the same lines of adorable beach read. 26 year old venturing into the world of online dating disasters and other possibilities.

A great contemporary romance about the perils of online dating that doesn't disappoint! What made this book so fun was that I can totally see all of these online dating disasters happen and can envision the people, too. Great expansion of the characters from Click Date Repeat but can be read as a standalone, if necessary. Another fun-filled online drama story to keep me entertained poolside!

After reading the first book on the series, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this one.

Jess is much more likeable of a character than Chloe, but this one still didn't click for me.

The plot moves along at a better pace and we think the internet dating in the early 2000s was handled by the here. Some of Jess's dates were funny and others were cringe worthy, which totally fits and continues what Chloe's experience was in the first book. The plot definitely improves the further you get into the book.

Just like in the first book, though, there are plot threads that are brought up and addressed but then there's no resolution for them. A number of times, too, the same point is brought up and re-hashed. I understand that it is part of Jess's internal struggle and feelings, but they were mentioned so many times.

Overall I liked this book more when I finished it than I expected and would say 2.5 stars, but I still don't think these characters and story are for me.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A super fun read about one girl's journey through online dating. Jess is a 26 year old, who is trying to end her booty call relationship with her on/off ex boyfriend. Her best friend, Chloe had found love via online dating so she gifted Jess a 3 month subscription to Yahoo Personals. There were some good and some bad prospects. I like that throughout the book, you had no idea who Jess was going to be with at the end. There were a couple that you were cheering on.

The characters were well developed and the story was humorous. I did not read the first book in the series and I don't feel like I was missing out on anything. I will definitely read the first book though since I enjoyed this one so much.

I highly recommend this book. I would like to thank NetGalley for supplying a copy of K.J. Farnham's "Click Date Repeat Again" in exchange for an honest review

Click Date Repeat Again is the sequel to Click Date Repeat, but you don't need to read the first to read this. Take it from me, this book was easy to understand and I didn't feel like my reading experience was lacking in any way by not reading the first book. Click Date Repeat Again is essentially about a twenty something trying to find her "one true love" through online dating after a plethora of bad dating experiences one on one.
Click Date Repeat Again has two major flaws that disallowed me from really enjoying and even loving the book.

First, Click Date Repeat Again has a slow beginning. I was expecting to have some fun right off the bat, but I didn't. It took longer than usual to acclimate to the point of view and the story itself. I don't know if that's because I didn't like Jess as much as I normally like main characters, or if it was the narration was written. Nevertheless, I had a hard time connecting and caring about this book until halfway through.

Second, this book tries to hard to be funny. There were some jokes here and there that hit the mark, but most didn't. Personally, they came off as immature, which didn't help when I was trying so hard to like Jess! This is a more personal complaint though, and I'm sure the book can be hilarious to other people. I've had this same issue before in other romances, so it is probably just me.

What I liked about this book were all the other characters besides Jess! Though I didn't like Jess, the way she thought, or the decisions she made, I did like a lot of the other characters. Jess' friends and her boyfriends were a breath of fresh air. Around the 60 percent mark, I started to warm up to Jess and the whole book. Jess experiences a good deal of character growth and I think it was very well done. The only downfall of the characters was the "bad guys". Jess' exes were cardboard cutouts; I want a bit more dimension to them!

The later half of this book was such a blast and I found myself really rooting for Jess and her happily ever after. The first half might have been 2.5 Stars, but the second half was a much stronger contender. The pace was slow in the beginning and dragged at times, but the pace the second half was faster and I never got bored.

Click Date Repeat Again isn't the best romance I've read, but I did have fun! My main issues with the book are more personal taste than anything else. If you are looking for a quick and fun read, then pick this up. If you're looking for a book that will touch your soul and impact you, it might be best to look elsewhere.

With that, I give this book

3.25 out of 5 Stars!

Jess is a twenty something stewardess. After her best friend founds love through online dating, she offers Jess a three months subscription. Jess is dubious but still goes all in. She talks to a lot of people, meets a lot of them too.

This book was entertaining and it seems pretty realistic of what you can get when using a dating site. The main romance of the book was well painted and I could feel the connection.
However, Jess annoyed me to no end. I found her to be very selfish and self-pitying. When learn during the book that she used to cheat on her asshole of an ex with a married man. Ok. Everyone one makes mistakes. But she kept slutshaming herself and when another younger stewardess sleeps with the same married man she used to (who’s a psychopath tbh), she judges her and refuses to do anything to help her (like report him) because she doesn’t people to know about what she did.
Anyway, also there were some problematic things in my opinion, so let me give you quotes :

"Another low whistle. I can’t help but grin because it feels good to be noticed, even if I don’t know who’s whistling."
Then next page, the whistler :
"'I hope you know those whistles were meant as compliments.' He follows up with a wink"

and when a woman messages Jess on the dating site, opening with :

"You must be wondering why I poked you when you don’t appear to be shopping around in my category."

Also, Jess’s best friend, at some point, freaks out cause of sex stuff with her bf and says something like “what if he’s gay? Or bi?” And it sounded like she thought it’d be the worse thing ever that he could be bi.

Biphobia needs to end. Who gives a fuck if your partner is bi? What does it change for you? Absolutely fucking nothing. That’s what.

To summar it all up, it was kinda entertaining but also annoying in ways…….

This is the second book in the Click Date Repeat series. It is also the first book by K,J. Farnham. I have to say I enjoyed it.
Jesstine is single, with an addiction to loser Ned, ex boyfriend jerk extraordinaire. Her friend Chloe' seems to think she needs help resisting him, so she gets her a 3 month subscription to an online dating service. So Jess is trying to stick to her New Year's resolution and forget Ned. Jess meets several dates and thinks she may have found the one, maybe two hmmmmm.
This book talks about Jess's dating adventures. It is a barrel of laughs and even some tears. I really liked Jess and her silliness and Chloe' with her innocence. It really gives you a perspective on online dating and the excitement from it. I laughed at some of the profile names *Wildman* (a name people call my husband since his last name is so close to that) ha ha. I laughed and the situations she was in during her dates and thought holy cow why did she even stick around as long as she did. I really loved the book and would read more by this author. If you are looking for a funny cozy read then this book is for you.
