Lydia and Dylan had quite the mountain to climb, to get Lydia to be part of their royal family. He also had to get over his possessive ways as well to make Lydia truly happy.

The more I read this story the more Lydia and Dylan grew on me.

~Dylan must have been engaging in the handshake version of a dick-measuring contest. My future husband, the Neanderthal. ~

I loved Dylan and Lydia. Perfect conclusion to this series. Review to follow.

Royal Treatment, the final installment in the Royal Scandal series, was absolutely perfect. Like Parkers’ other books in this series, RT is filled with a lot of sexy and sweet elements. I'm really attached to Dylan and Lydia and was bummed that this was the final book until I read the epilogue. I feel like I can say goodbye after seeing their lives five years later. What a great HEA. This series should be read in order to fully appreciate Dylan and Lydia’s all-consuming love story

What a year for Parker Swift. Her debut series, Royal Scandal, released! And I have to tell you, this is a series that will stay with you!!!

For some reason, 2017 was the year of royal romances. There were a lot of them out there. Most of them were huge misses for me. But the Royal Scandal series was a huge hit for me!!!

In Royal Treatment we get the final book in Dylan & Lydia’s love story. This couple has been through a lot! And their story is not complete.
*** WARNING *** This NOT a standalone book!

I am not going to give anything away. All I will tell you is that this entire series has twists and turns that will keep your attention. It has been a few months since I finished this series, and writing this review makes me smile and makes me miss these characters!

Congratulations Parker for an amazing debut year (2017) of writing! You have a true talent. You also have a fan for life. Please, please write more!!! I need more!

I thought this was the best book of this series, but that’s not saying too much. It was a nice ending to a story that was part royal, part secret agent, and a complete emotional roller coaster.

This is book 3 in the story of Dylan and Lydia. It's definitely not a standalone, as it picks up after the events in the other books, their first meeting, the beginning of their relationship, and all of the build up is referenced in this book, vaguely, but you need to have read the first 2 in order to really follow.

I was invested enough in Dylan and Lydia to want to know how it ended up for them, although I can say that I thought it was a little too long and the book would have worked better, I think, as a duet.

The emotion, at least for me, felt a little drawn out and like there was not quite enough for them to really have the plot to make it through the 3rd book and the break up, make up and issues started to feel a little like a soap opera...the issue exists because it is the 4th chapter of the 3rd book and not because it really follows a strong story ARC.

I recommend this book, as it is the end of a series and the first 2 books really were engaging, but this one was not as compelling as the others in the series.

This is just a quick review to say I am loving this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Dylan and Lydia are definitely a great couple. Off the charts chemistry and banter. I am always left wanting to read more and I can't wait to see what Parker gives us.

Royal Treatment was a great continuation of Dylan and Lydia's story. It Picks up 5 months after they become engaged and their troubles are far from over. If anything they are really just beginning. The writing, just as it was on the first two books, was fantastic. The characters were true to how they have been through out the series. I have enjoyed their story. Royal Treatment was for me hard to get lost in as it was the first two. I don't know if it was because I felt it had a lot of the same issues with a few extra big ones thrown in or what. I hated not being able to get immersed. Some things were predictable. But that aside the story was still solid and I know many are going to love it.

I've enjoyed seeing Lydia and Dylan's relationship change and blossom throughout this series. I have to admit that I didn't expect it to change as much throughout but I am really glad it did. I wasn't sure how their story would end but I thought Royal Treatment gave them the perfect conclusion. I loved seeing Lydia focus on her career and her character development was excellent. I was glad to see more Dylan's POV and get more insight into his character as well. Overall, I thought this book was great and would highly recommend this entire series.

This was not the best book in the trilogy, but it was totally necessary and tied things up very well. I love Parker Swift's writing style and flair, and Dylan was the exact kind of hero everyone loves to read about. Looking forward to more books from Ms. Swift.

Royal Treatment by Parker Swift was incredible!!!

As soon as I heard about this novel, I knew that I was going to have to pick it up!! The synopsis appealed to me so much, that I was desperate to get my hands on it!! I am so glad that I did, because the book was absolutely amazing!!

Dylan is such a dynamic character to read about. With everything going on in his life, you understand some of the situations he is in. Beyond that, he is sexy, sweet and definitely charming in more ways than one. The romantic elements in this novel will have you swooning.

Parker Swift is an incredible author, and I can't wait to read more books from her in the future!

5/5 Stars!

All this duke needs is his duchess...

For five blissful months I've been engaged to Dylan Hale, the most handsome, commanding, and wickedly sexy duke in England. For five months I've woken up next to the man I love, indulged in secret trysts, and submitted to every delicious desire. Even better? We've managed to keep it hidden from everyone. That means no paparazzi scandals, no snide comments from Dylan's mother, and no harsh public scrutiny. It's been heaven, but with Dylan's royal responsibilities looming, our time alone is running out. And while I can't wait to be Dylan's wife, I'm terrified that becoming Dylan's duchess might mean losing myself.

Review:

This was definitely a feel good ending for this series. I mean after all Dylan and Lydia have been through a lot in this series and deserve a feel good ending. Though all is not smooth sailing for them through the whole book, but I was very satisfied with the drama and emotion that were stumbling blocks for them in this book. It is a emotional book while most of the book mad me happy there were some good crying scenes for me. I loved the intimate scenes with Dylan and Lydia, they are still hot even after three books. I have to say I still kept waiting for Lydia's long-lost mother to show up...lol

I loved this series! I would definitely read them in order, just because it is more enjoyable that way. I am curious as to what this Author will be putting out next and will be looking for it.

Genre: Romance – comedy, royalty
Stand-alone: Yes-ish. There’s a great round up of what happened in the first two books but it’s even better if you’ve read them
Part of a Series: yes – book 3 of 3 in the Royal Scandal Series
POV: Lydia and Dylan
Steam level: toasty to melt-y
5/5

Royal Treatment Is the perfect end to this series! It was sweet, hot and emotional with the perfect mix of humor to lighten the story. I was enthralled from the start and couldn’t put it down. I laughed throughout and bawled like a baby at times. I loved that this book had both Lydia and Dylan’s viewpoints. I feel like it added so much to this story. Parker Swift is a fantastic writer and I can’t wait to read more from her.

I love a good royal story, but this one fell very flat for me. I was utterly lost almost from page one; the dirty talk between the two main characters was over the top for a new-to-the-series reader such as myself.

Perhaps readers familiar with the couple from the first two books can accept the way in which Dylan speaks to and acts with Lydia. Perhaps they'll also understand what the heck is going on with the mess in which Dylan's father left their shipping company, and the reason why his mother is so hostile towards Lydia.

I picked up this book 5 different times over the course of a month and a half, and I just couldn't get into it at all. I wasn't invested in the characters or the plot line, and it wasn't explained to me in a way that was engaging. I was expected to know the backstory and the characters; therefore, in my opinion, this is not a standalone novel, and I didn't care enough to read the first two.

DNF.

If you've been reading the Royal Scandal series like I have been than you were so excited for Dylan and Lydia to finally get the final installment in their love story.  I dove right into Royal Treatment as soon as it hit my device.

So at the start, we find them happily engaged and madly, passionately in love - desperately wanting to move forward towards a future they both want together. But they're both slightly terrified by knowledge that their lives together will also filled with paparazzi, a disapproving mother-in-law and all kinds of unforeseen drama that's waiting to jump out at them at any moment. It makes Lydia incredibly hesitant to announce to the world that she and Dylan are getting married.

For months Dylan hasn't pushed - he understood why she wants to keep some aspects of their lives private. However, when he looks at Lydia, he sees his future and he wants all of the goodness he's feeling to be shared with the world.  That is until he hears a few hard truths about someone close to him and it changes his perspective completely.

These two create all kinds of chaos and emotional drama for themselves to overcome before you get to that last page and their happily ever after.  It's crazy entertaining and I devoured it all in one sitting.

It's been an incredible journey and I loved my time with this couple. Their story keep me on my toes and happy - I highly recommend checking the Royal Scandal series out.

Anything to do with royal romances has an inherent appeal. Add good dose of wit and generous amount of sexiness and you’ve got a recipe for an irresistibly fun and enjoyable read. Dylan and Lydia’s story concludes is this royally sweet romantic escape.

In this, the third installment in the Royal Scandal series, the 17th Duke of Abingdon Dylan Hale and Lydia are blissfully relishing their secret engagement. Since only a handful of trusted friends know, Dylan and Lydia only need to worry about how to enjoy each other. There’s no apprehension about media or public scrutiny, no unpleasantness coming from Dylan’s mother. But given Dylan’s very public persona, this small slice of heaven is all about to end and they’re about to face new obstacles in the road.

Lydia is worried that becoming a Duchess will change her life in a way that she’s lose herself, and for that reason is hesitant to announce their forthcoming nuptials to the world. All the while Dylan wanted her to become his as soon as possible, until he realizes that asking Lydia to join his unstable world as it is would be asking her to sacrifice too much and would rather they wait until he manages to put all his dukes… I mean ducks in a row.

So while their responsibilities take them away from each other, Dylan and Lydia need to find a way to work as a team before misunderstandings tear them definitely apart.

Even though I regret not reading the first two books, I was really curious about the series. It took no time at all to be swept up in the deep enduring love and delicious sexiness between Dylan and Lydia. Parker Swift did a wonderful job at recapping the history between them, but I’ll be carving out some time to read Royal Affair and Royal Disaster as I predict this is a trilogy worth reading in its entirety.

Royal Treatment is book #3 in the Royal Scandal series by Parker Swift. It is a standalone contemporary romance with lots of steam, romance, charming characters and a full range of emotions. Told from two points of view with a happy ending.

4 Endearing CROWNS

Parker Swift has given readers of the Royal Scandal series such a sweet and endearing ending for Dylan and Lydia. Balancing the demands of their new positions, they get to see these two become stronger together as well as work to get that HEA they have earned throughout the series.

Dylan is still that protective hero we have seen throughout the first two books, and his devotion to Lydia and her happiness continues to be one of the most endearing aspects of his character. Lydia also continues to be the supportive fiance, and readers really get to see how she is willing to do what is best for them as a couple. She, like before, though, will stick to her guns and speak her mind when necessary.

The main aspect of this story centers on Dylan and Lydia learning these new roles they are required to fill. The readers get to see them struggle with the redefinition, but in the end these two make it work for them and find a way to make it all come together. The epilogue is especially sweet, and readers are going to love the little glimpse Parker Swift provides at the end of the book.

This whole series is really enjoyable. From the characters to the story line over the course of the three books, it was an entertaining and lovely read.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

Royal Treatment by Parker Swift is the final installment to her Royal Scandal series. Dylan and Lydia are together and happy, but will they be able to contain this newfound happiness?

Dylan and Lydia have had months of happiness. Together and engaged, they have been able to enjoy each other and have managed to keep it quiet. With Dylan’s responsibilities, they knew the bubble they were living in was coming to an end.

Lydia finds herself weary of what it will mean to be the woman in Dylan’s life. After the press first found out about them, they were relentless. What would it mean to be engaged and eventually his wife? So she was determined to enjoy this time together and delay the inevitable. On the other hand, Dylan is ready to tell the world about them.

And so we find Dylan and Lydia learning to find their new normal as a couple and in their careers. However, this time around there are so many more obstacles in their way. Can they survive and finally find their happily ever after or will it all fall apart?

With pressures coming at them from all sides, Dylan and Lydia needed to learn how to trust and lean on each other. But with interfering family, exes, responsibilities and the press always on their heels, that once loved bubble begins to show signs of imploding.

I loved the added angst this time around. These two were meant to be together, but with so much happening around them, they found themselves floundering for a bit. Though Dylan was still the cocky, determined, dominant alpha we have come to love, we also see another side to him. The side determined to let Lydia know he loves her. Though a successful business woman, Lydia found herself out of place in his world at times. But this time around, I loved seeing her finally come into her own.

I loved the ending to this series. It was so much fun to read, with a touch of angst and sexy, steamy scenes. The story will intrigue you and the characters are both frustrating and endearing, but will win your hearts.

4.5 stars -- I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.

I LOVE it when a series gets better as it goes along!  I don't know if it was just me, but I enjoyed this one a lot more than the previous two books, it was a fantastic finale to the trilogy.  And I think that surprised me a little, b/c I honestly had no idea how we were going to get a whole other book out of Dylan and Lydia's story, and the previous two had been good, but a bit long and occasionally boring.  I honestly can't tell you if I was just in a different mood this time, or it really was better, but we're going to go with the book being better.  Benefit of the doubt and all that.

I can honestly say that by this point in the trilogy, I was already in love with Dylan and Lydia.  They had the most fantastic banter, I can't tell you how delightful it was to see them sassing each other back and forth.  And while they had a highly sexual relationship, I really could see more to their relationship than just that.  And I felt like we just got to see more of them together (without just sex) in this book.  The thing I loved about this book is that while they hit roadbumps along the way, they weren't drawn out, and I was so proud of them for not taking to long to work things out together.  They didn't frustrate me as characters.  They still had some growing to do, but I felt like even in all that I could already see how far they'd come together.  And so this book gave me ups and downs, but never made me feel anxious or annoyed (which can be hard to do).  I was fully invested in their romance and love and was so happy with the way things were resolved along the way.

I loved that we got both Lydia *AND* Dylan's POVs throughout the whole story.  I really felt like we got to know Dylan just a bit more that way.  And I really did end up loving both characters.  But most of all, I LOVED them together.  I loved the way they complimented each other.  I loved how thoughtful Dylan was of Lydia, and how she showed him how to feel love and learn more about the man he was and who he could be.  And I LOVED that Lydia was so strong and challenging to both Dylan and the world in general.  I loved that we got to see Lydia's Brooklyn life.  I will admit I still kind of wanted to know more about Lydia's mother.  It just seems so bizarre to not know anything about her, but that's just me being greedy.

And I was still in love with the secondary characters, particularly Emily and Will in this book.  Can we say spin off book?  :P

So yeah.  Great finale.  Love seeing an author develop over time.  Surprisingly really appreciated this last story in the trilogy.  They've become characters I really enjoyed reading about, I was so happy I stuck with them.
