While this was an interesting read (and I didn't know anything about Jen Agg before) this book wasn't particularly well written. The early chapters didn't have great flow (and weren't chronological which added to my confusion) and seemed a bit all over the place. That said, Agg's life is worthy of a read, and getting her insight into the restaurant business is great. A great read for anyone who has worked or is working in customer service.

I don't know of Jen Agg and having never been to Toronto, haven't eaten at her restaurants I love Top Chef and so I thought that I would give it a try and it turns out it wasn't' for me. I was thinking that there would be more about her places but there were some weird and unexpected chapters that I skimmed through. It just wasn't' what I was expecting.
