Tiffany is an amazing author. I am normally not a PN fan, however, if Tiffany wrote I have to read it. Tiffany lead me into another world. Took me on a journey through the years, had me looking up art in the internet. Tiffany just does that to me, always pulls me right in. . This was a must read for me, simply because of Tiffany and Nora Sutherland. That's all that had to be said in the description and I was sold.

This was beyond a sexy read, beyond erotic. The sex scenes were fascinating, completely stimulating. I found this story to just grab hold and not let go. I really did not want the book to come to an end. The descriptions of places, events, surroundings and characters were incredible. I totally could picture the book as I read it. The maze, the forest, and the jail, incredible.

These characters Tiffany created were so interesting, evolving, full of surprises. I was shocked and scared in a few scenes what would happen to Mona, but that's the beauty of Tiffany's work, that's what she does, that's why I love reading her books. I never know what to expect, and when to expect it. I usually finish a Tiffany book with a blown mind, and this is still true.

I completely loved Malcolm, his character was intense, sexy, and down right arrogant, and I loved him for it. Mona, was strong willed not afraid to be who she is and accept life journey. I must say I was a little disappointed that Malcolm was a dream, I so wanted him to be real. I would love to see where Mona's and Spencer life will go,

Will Malcolm come back for another visit now that he's back where he belongs???

An erotic fantasy, including ghosts, demons, and fairies, among other imaginary creatures. The erotic scenes are based on real paintings by Degas, Reynolds, and Manet, among others, which Mona Lisa, her mysterious benefactor, Malcolm, and a host of other oneiric visitors to her art gallery, perform. Mona willingly indulges in these scenes in order to save her mother’s art gallery. There was very little characterisation, Mona and Malcolm were ethereal, and the plot was almost nonexistent. The reader is transported into a world of erotic make believe, with a surprising and unexpected ‘happy ever after’ ending. For lovers of erotic and extravagant novels.

This is a somewhat difficult review to write. First of all, Tiffany Reisz is an amazing and talented writer. (TOS is one of my all time favorite series) She brings her books to so much life with her vivid and vibrant words. She writes erotica like no other. So here is the difficult part. While I loved the premise of the story, the story had way too much sex. I know I know.....how can this be? Sex drove the story instead of the plot driving the story for me.

Mona is the owner of The Red Gallery. She is fixing to lose the gallery due to bills. But one day a mysterious man, Malcolm, enters the gallery and tells Mona he will help her save the gallery. But to save the gallery, he wants Mona to give her body to him for a year. He will show up from time to time and when he does he expects Mona to do as he says, to fully submit. Sex in exchange for saving her gallery......plain and simple, or is it?

When Malcom shows up, he incorporates his time with Mona around famous sexual paintings. They are erotic and Malcom loves to role play. Mona finds herself completely aroused and entranced by these highly sexual moments. Each time the encounters becomes more and more erotic and seemingly unreal in their environment. There is nothing wrong with these encounters except that I felt that there was not much of a connection between Malcom and Mona. Their times together were just sexual and it didn't allow me to feel what I needed from these two. It wasn't till the end that I was able to feel something for them and better understand.

And then the end came and while it was rushed, it was somewhat of a relief, if that makes sense. I did liked how the author brought the story full circle. The answers to lingering questions were answered about Dreams, Reality, Truth, Doubts, and the Mysterious Malcolm.

This book was a ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review (thank you! )

This book was more fantasy like. I kept trying to figure out how Malcolm did theses thing and the end brought it together. I agree with other reviewers that the end was rushed and could have been stretched out a bit better. This book was not what i was expecting and some of the scenes in it make me scratch my head.

From the very beginningThe book started off great. A girl losing the battle of saving her mothers art gallery. To the point she is willing to do anything, but nothing will help. Then this mysterious man, came in and pulled a wrecking ball on Mona. When he proposed a deal with her that would save Mona's art gallery, she was apprehensive. But, she came around to the idea, and agreed.

Now, when the stipulations of the deal were told and agreed, I was sure that I would not like this book or be able to read it. It was way too much for my taste.

Oh, but the tables turned on me. It was the most wicked experience I had read. It was the biggest turn on. Now, I wouldn't personally do any of this, but WOW. It is so hard to even explain without giving the story away.

But, the mysterious, Malcolm, knew what he was doing. He made Mona fall in love with him magically. He had a goal. He was getting her ready and setting her up for her future.

I was hoping for a lovely happy ending for Mona and Malcolm. They were just perfect for each other. He made her see and feel things you cannot believe. With that, this ending was not what I expected.

I will recommend any lover of romance and erotica reads, read this. It is awesome.

The Red by Tiffany Reisz is a deeply satisfying erotic novel of fantasy and drama that is sure to please her fans of the Original Sinners series and garner her a whole new group of them. With lyrical prose and characters that beg to be real, Reisz has crafted another novel of romance and sex and fantasies that come true.

The Red is an art gallery that is not only painted red but is also deeply in the red financially. It's current owner, Mona Lisa St. James promised her dying mother that she would do everything she could to save the gallery. But now, in its final hour, Mona Lisa may have run out of options. Late one night after closing, she is contemplating the need to sell the gallery when she spots a mysterious stranger staring at one of the portraits. The stranger makes Mona Lisa an offer she finds she cannot resist. Submit to him for the period of one year, whenever he shows and he will save the gallery. To show her a taste of his wealth he leaves a painting with her. A painting whose worth can keep her the Red afloat for a time. She agrees and embarks on a fantasy of sex and desire and illusion. Her benefactor is handsome and English and seems capable of not only creating sexual fantasies out of thin air but to change reality for the span of a night. From being sold to slavery to wood nymphs to bondage to every whim he could come up with, Mona Lisa submits with a passion. Each night of desire and debauchery correlating to a painting that he gives to her. But now Mona Lisa must wonder what she will do once the year is up. The Red will be saved but is she ruined? Can she go on without the desire and fantasies he has awoken in her?

Reisz writes erotica very, very well. Not as some clandestine dirty book to be hidden but as the art form it is. Desire is physical and mental and emotional and she develops all of these.

Mona Lisa benefactor is far more than a rich bored sex crazed billionaire. The kind that overpopulates this genre. No his character goes far deeper. He is a spirit, a ghost of sorts, a man keeping a promise. His desires feed into hers and together they embark on a year of erotic heat that is our pleasure to read.

For fans of the Original Sinners, and if you are not you need to be, the fantasy aspect of this novel may be a bit of a twist but the writing will be just as enjoyable.

A real good read.

I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. However, I think NetGalley may need to hand out towels to collect the drool along with copies of this little beauty...because dayum! I think, it is well known in popular public opinion, that Tiffany Reisz reigns on high, as one of the queens of erotic fiction... she is truly in a master class all by herself. People would pay to read her grocery list, just to see what kind of descriptions she'd attach to items, I'd bet!

Anyway, this book. This book, y'all. Wow! I don't even have the words to break it down for you. Steam warning... I mean, seriously, have a cold drink on standby, maybe the fire department... because Ms. Reisz doesn't pull *any* punches in this book. It is probably one of the most sexually explicit books I have ever read. Ever.

That being said, this probably will be a bit of an unpopular opinion; but after all the build, the ending seemed a bit rushed... The writing is superb, no issues there. An interesting take on the main character's plight and rapid resolution.

Thank you, NetGalley for allowing me the privilege of reviewing this book prior to it's release. 3 stars.

WARNING: Due to explicit sexual content, this story is for mature (18 and over) audiences only.

I would love to live in Tiffany Reiz's head if only for a day. The stories that this woman can churn out are nothing short but incredible (and undeniably sexy).

The Red is a beautifully captivating erotica story that will capture you from the very first pages, and keep you glued to your screen until you have finished. Ms.Reiz paints a very vivid picture with her writings, and in this case, drew inspiration from real life works of art to elevate the characters and their sexual exploits to a whole new level. The characters are complex, and their story is not a romance. It's a gritty narrative into letting go of yourself and experiencing levels of sexual fantasy that you never could have imagined.

Overall, I am certain this story will appeal to those who enjoy well-written erotica novels.

DISCLAIMER: I received a complimentary copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This has not affected my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.

The Red was nothing at all like what I was expecting! It was super sexy, imaginative and took us out of the box and into an entirely different realm of thinking!

Step up to the line, then cross it. The Red : An Erotic Fantasy, will take you, turn you, and flip you over. It is the story of Mona Lisa St. James , who wants to save The Red, an art gallery, and Malcolm, who helps her. The story moves fast as Mona and Malcolm explore art, kinky sex, and mystery. The author gives us a likeable character in Mona, natural dialogue, and exposure to great artwork. Finally there is extra kinky sex, the kind that readers of Erotica will surely enjoy.

This novella was well written. It was reminiscent of Anne Rice's writing and it was refreshing to read something in that style when I haven't come across this type of Erotica in a long time. There was a magical realism touch to it--paranormal is not typically my thing, but I didn't mind it. This was my first read of a Reisz book and it won't be my last.

The Red by Tiffany Reisz is amazing! I was lucky to receive an advanced copy from Netgalley and I am so grateful, I really did enjoy this one. I will admit I picked this book because I absolutely loved the cover, this is the first time I am so glad to judge a book by its Amazing cover.
This book is extremely steamy so if you don’t want to spend one night reading a steamy romance novel start this book in the morning and just call out of work! This book also has an amazing appeal to those who love art, so if art and smutt is your cup of tea make a whole pot and enjoy.
Mona Lisa St. James is a young woman who makes a death bed promise to her mother to make sure she does anything she can to keep The Red open, the red being an art gallery that is failing. As Mona is contemplating how she can stretch what funds she has...She see a man standing in the Gallery looking at a small painting with a discerning eye...He is quite the vision himself... Masculine, robust and impressive... a quiet strength which became impossible to ignore the moment he looked directly at Mona. She greeted him as if he was just another man who had an interest in art... This was nothing new...only the electricity in the air was startling and caused Mona to regard this stranger more carefully.... The beautiful stranger speaks with Mona gives her a few subtle complements then gives her a proposition she can’t refuse. He asks her to be his whore for a full year. Ms. Reisz does a beautiful job with her words and chapter format, where each chapter is named after a piece of art that is beautifully described, what I loved was that each painting was also a hint of the sexual adventures that Mona will experience.
I don’t want to ruin this book for anyone so all I will say is that this is a lighthearted read the sexual scenes are nothing run of the mill, but I hope that this review encourages you to give this book a chance because my heads up isn’t to make anyone run but to be prepared for the unexpected! 5 red Stars from me!

I knew that this book was going to push boundaries, and be far from clean - after all, it is labeled erotica. But, unlike in porn, erotica is supposed to make at least an attempt of a coherent story line. I wish that was the case with this book. Graphic is one thing - this is more like reading a really bad hardcore porn "book". Erotica implies some kind of seduction, there was no seduction here.

This book is unlike anything I have ever read. I don't like historical books and although this book had a historical aspect to it, it wasn't as a bad read. It was okay! It was definitely unpredictable and it takes paranormal to another level. This is not a clean read so if that is what you enjoy do not pick up this book because it has more than a few steamy sex scenes within it. The games that are played not only with the body, but with the mind. This read was like a puzzle and each piece gets you closer to finishing the masterpiece. If you are looking for a read that will definitely play with your mind and leave you wondering what just happened you need to grab this book. It is a standalone read so no worries and it will definitively leave you feeling some type of way.

Well, that was the most sexually explicit book I think I have ever read...
I am not usually the type of reader to be OK with some of the situations that this character got herself into but it actually kind of worked. I didn't rate this one higher because she was a little too eager to jump into certain things that a normal 24 year old would have been more cautious with. Also, I really didn't believe that she hated Malcolm after that bestiality scene. She enjoyed it so thoroughly and was stretched so much... well honestly, how can she go back to a regular human after that? I do have to say that this book got me out of my comfort zone and I am glad I read it.

3 fantastical filthy stars

Holy filthy smut! I think this may well be the dirtiest book I’ve ever read! And leave it to the queen of well-written kink to deliver a limit-pushing read that is surprising and unique with an unexpected fantasy element that left me thinking about the story long after I’d finished reading.

“You smile like the devil,” Mona said.
“The devil doesn’t smile,” he said. “The devil smirks.”

Mona St. James owns and runs The Red, a small art gallery owned by her mother where she spent the majority of her childhood. On her mother’s death bed, she promised to do anything within her power to keep the gallery running, and that promise is about to be put to the test with The Red struggling, and Mona on the verge of selling.

And then along comes Malcolm. A tall, dark and handsome stranger, Malcom offers Mona the opportunity to save the gallery she loves so dearly. But his offer is far from what she expected.

“What is it you want from me?”
“May I be blunt with you?” he asked.
“I’d prefer it.”
“I very much wish to fuck you.”
….
“I have no interest in love or marriage from you. Nor do I wish to take you to dinner. I simply want to fuck you in various ways that please me. It’s my preference.”

Malcolm proposes a deal with Mona where she becomes his for a year. Anything he wants, whenever he wants it, and in return he will give her the means to save The Red. Not only is Mona desperate, but she’s also intrigued and disturbingly turned on by Malcolm, so she accepts. Having no clue what she’s going to be in for.

“We’ll start tomorrow night.”
“So soon?”
“Does your c**t have a prior engagement?”

Oh holy hell, this is one smutty, smutty read! Hot, filthy, explicit and kinky, pretty much anything goes with Malcolm, and Mona soon finds herself completely under his spell. Desperate for his touch and for the scandalous things he does to her.

His money had made her a whore, but his cock had made her his slave. She never wanted to taste freedom again.

I want to include a warning here that this is not your usual smut. I’m not a prude by any means, and I love my smut just as much as the next romance reader, but there are things that happen in this book that I’ve never read before and certain scenes had me crossing my legs in imagined discomfort. So rather than getting all hot and bothered, I was just uncomfortable and slightly grossed out. But to each their own, and I’m sure there are people who read this book who will love the boundary-pushing erotica aspects to the story. I do want to stress, though, that all acts are consensual and Mona definitely enjoys all that she experiences.

Along with the filth, there’s an element of mystery. Who is Malcolm? What is his big secret? And how does he manage to evoke the fantasy world that he takes Mona to? Not just sexual fantasy, but actual fantasy, with each encounter become more and more fantastical, blowing Mona’s mind and rocking her world.

“Is this all a dream?” That’s the only thing that makes any sense.
“You aren’t dreaming,” he said, and she knew that was true. She was awake and had been every time they had met. “But if you were a dream, would you want to wake up?” he asked.
A good question. A fair question. A hard question, but one she answered easily.
“Never.”

I’m a huge fan of Tiffany Reisz. Her writing is always sharp and intelligent, and she draws you into the story, and this book is no different. Although the sexy time pushed limits for me, I kept reading, desperate to figure out what was happening and how it was all going to play out. I liked how she wove the mystery into the story, and the links to the paintings and art that are Mona’s life is really well done, and I thought the tie-in was really clever. I wouldn’t consider this a romance read, there is definitely a strong emotional connection but I’m not sure that I’d call it love, but Tiffany Reisz writes unconventional relationships really well, and it worked for the story.

"Do anything you must, but keep me forever. "

So yeah, this is a difficult one for me to rate. The sex was filthy and more OTT than I would usually read, which turned me off a bit, but I thought the story was interesting and unique, and I like the fact that it kept me guessing and kept me thinking even after I had finished.

3 stars.
