I'm not normally one to enjoy books that are artsy, but I did find this book to be good. Holy sex scenes, batman! Whew....this one was so steamy and erotic. More erotica than erotic romance. This was my first title by Tiffany Reisz but I did like it.

Disturbing. Captivating. Trippy as all get out. So, basically everything you'd expect from a Tiffany Reisz book.

I'd have liked Mona to be a stronger character, but other than that, this was an entertaining read.

As always Tiffany Reisz books are exciting and erotic to say the least. With the art gallery she promised her mom she would keep no matter what but is about to loose she is given an opportunity if she submits to this stranger he will help her. She has to decide what to do. Give her body to this stranger. Will she do what ever it takes to keep her promise. So interesting and sexy. I voluntarily reviewed an arc for my honest review

This book was good, but I have to be honest and say that it was not for me. I am a fan of Tiffany Reisz, but this book is not one of my favorites from the author. Me saying that the book was not for me, does not mean that someone else would not enjoy it.

What a unique story! I found myself really enjoying the art aspect of this novel and of course the hot steamy relationship.

Whew, talk about hot and steamy, Mona and Malcom defiantly had my cheeks blushing a time or two and I absolutely loved it. Malcom was such a mystery and it totally added to his sex appeal. Ugh, that man!

Everything about The Red was different, erotic and unique. From Mona and her emotions, to Malcom and his mysterious ways and even to the re-creating of the gallery's famous masterpieces.

If you're looking for a different kind of erotica book to dive into then I highly recommend The Red!

Not sure how I ended up with this book in my pile as it wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

I have two words: Tiffany Reisz. I am a huge fan of hers. She is an author that you stop and read when a new book is released. Tiffany is able to paint a picture with just her words is incredible.

This was an erotic adventure into the art world. We meet Mona St. James, the owner of The Red gallery and she would do anything to keep the gallery open. When a chance encounter at closing with a mystery man, Malcolm, who seems to have an offer that Mona can not refuse.

How hard can being who Malcolm would like her to be once a month or so be? Mona can do this. This maybe her only chance to save The Red. As Malcolm leaves details of what he needs Mona to be, she is intrigued and falls future under his spell. But he delivers like he says with payment to keep The Red going and then some.

But how long can Mona continue to fall under his spell? And how does Malcolm weave the tangled web of erotic pleasure when it all seems like a dream the next morning. And then there is Spencer. How will Spencer play a part in Mona’s life after having experienced Malcolm.

I enjoy Tiffany Reisz books and I couldn't wait to get started on another book by her.

I was interested in the book and got drawn into how things played out with the way things were set up and how he wanted her to follow his commands.
I was really interested when things in her room changed completely and just didn't make sense because I wanted to know what was happening.
So how it ended was a surprise I did enjoy the story.

My thanks to NetGalley and 8th Circle Press for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.

I am not really a reader of "naughty" books as my bookstore owner and I call them. This was outside of my comfort zone, I 100% admit that. I didn't request this to pan it, but to expand my reading horizons and so I can suggest at least one book from that section of the store to customers who ask for recommendations.

Many GR friends who I respect and admire really liked this one and the cover is GORGEOUS, so I decided to try this one and see how I liked it.

As you can see from my star rating, I didn't really like it very much. There were two scenes that I thought were pretty steamy, most were meh, one made me nauseated and turn green and one that was more on the violent side than sexy side.

One scene was HAWT, and then the MC gets all TSTL. She gets upset, saying the guy drugged her, BUT he left her a glass a wine with a sign that said "drink me" AND SHE DID. All the while thinking that he wouldn't drug her and she would be really angry with him if he did. BUT she also made a deal with him that he could do WHATEVER he wanted to her when he was with her. He was paying her for her body so she wouldn't lose her art gallery. She agreed to this. Her body was his for a year.

Kinda hot premise, not going to lie. But the part with the horse crop? SO NOT SEXY. And the prison scene, I almost puked. It was truly nasty.

Ok, the two above thoughts are completely mine and if you are into that sort of thing, I am NOT judging you. Different strokes, different folks. Those scenes just didn't work for me. If they work for you, more power to you.

Two stars for the two good scenes. Recommended if you don't shock easy.

Sorry GR Buddies, I completely read this one wrong. I'm glad you enjoyed it though! :)

A fantastic mysterious and erotic read. Very hard to write a review without spoilers but this is a great read for any fans of erotic fiction.

Thank you to NetGalley and the 8th Circle Press for providing this ARC to me in exchange for an honest review.

Well.... this book was extreme... An Erotic Fantasy. For mature audiences only. This is definitely not a book for the general reader.

The Red by Tiffany Reisz is based on a young woman's desire to save her mother's art gallery no matter what it takes - and she does... I can't say too much here about the plot as I don't want to give away spoilers, but the story was extreme. My favorite part was the integration of the art gallery, the famous artists, and their art work and how they were all intertwined with the story. I also must say, I LOVED the ending.... Loved, loved, loved the ending.

I would recommend this book to mature readers with the cautiousness to the extreme mature and adult content of the story. If you are not open minded to adult sexual experiences described in way too much detail, then this is not the book for you.

Otherwise, great story. Happy Reading!

So sexy! And holy erotica. No one does it better than TR. This had the perfect blend of mystery and sensuality. I felt like I was in a wonderland of arousal. Highly recommend for the no prudish reader.

I tried multiple times, but I just couldn't get into this one. I'm not sure what it is/why, but it didn't click for me.

Unfortunately, I never got to actually read this book, I would have loved too but was too late in downloading it.

This seductive cover pulled me in immediately but it was the blurb that chained me to itself. After that highly intriguing and mysterious blurb, I needed to know everything.

However, it's impossible. Absolutely impossible to know everything before the end. A year long adventure of epic naughtiness. A year to lust, flourish, and thrive on the passion. A years worth of wildly explicit rendezvous and in the end...

I'm not telling.

Didn't see that coming did you!? Well this book will shock you as well! The worst part is reading The End. I could have read more, lots more, but every story has an end...I just wish this one didn't.

It's very entertaining and has you guessing at everything. Art fans will love the references too! It is a wild ride. I am so bummed it's over.

Sexy, sexy, sexy. This was the second book I have read by Tiffany Reisz and it officially has me hooked on her. The book was so enthralling and the characters I found to be realistic and intriguing. It took me awhile to sit down and read it just because I find that I have to be in the right mindset to read this type of book. It was fantastic.
