A well written class reader book short and to the point about true friendship between different people and accepting them as there are.
What would you not do for keeping your friend with you? It can be to wake up early in the morning, collect the autumn leaves, paint them green and hide the yellow one in big bags in your spare room. The hare did it everything in the name of his friendship with hedgehog, in order to avoid the moment when he will go for months of hybernation and they will not be able to share their moments together.
But nature may be stronger than a big heart and hedgegog is yawning deeply, trying to understand why this year the autumn is delayed. But good things are happening to good people. Although he will finally go to hybernate as the hare confessed his plan, he will do it using the leaves his friends hid and therefore, every time when hare will miss him, he can only open the door to see him snorring.
Beautifully illustrated, this is a beautiful story about friendship and devotion and also creativity beyond (the natural) limits.
A wonderful story about friendship. The story is told beautifully and the illustrations are very eye catching. I enjoyed reading this book a lot and can't wait to read it to my son.
3.5 stars.
Fall is approaching, and Hedgehog hibernates, but Bunny doesn’t. Bunny is afraid he’ll be lonely throughout fall and winter, so he comes up with a ploy to try and put off the season as long as possible, even as Hedgehog is getting sleepier every day…
A nice story about friendship, honesty, and making the best of an awkward situation. The artwork is also very cute, and the Bunny and Hedgehog’s friendship lends itself to a series of books.
This is an adorable book perfect for small kids. It’s a moving story about friendship and the lengths one will go to keep a friend close.
The artwork is colorful, fun and absolutely perfect to showcase the fun of the author’s book.
Kids will love Bunny’s antics and it’s an adorable way to learn about hibernation.
My young daughter thought the animals were cute and she liked the story which made her want to learn more about the animals, hibernation and the season changes.
