This is a fast and fun office menage. I like that the boss grew as a character!

Not Safe for Work is high on the steam but low on the actual story or character development, but considering that's a short novella, I'd guess that's appropriate. Amy has been working for Hartford (Tom) long enough that she knows he's a cold, rigid control freak of a man. So when she meets Abel, the new CFO, and he's the opposite of Tom, she can't help but fall into bed with him. But, can they make a relationship work when both of them want the same man, and each other? Of course they can! And they do make it work, even once Tom gets involved...with both of them.

I like the steamy scenes, they're pretty hot, but I didn't feel much of a connection between the three of them outside of those scenes. Not Safe for Work is so short that it doesn't allow for much of a storyline or for the characters to do any kind of growth. I wish it had been expanded, because I have a feeling Charlotte could have made it a really great MMF story. And that ending...hmm, I have to admit, it really piqued my interest. I can only imagine how the story could have been gone after Abel revealed to Amy that little twist!

A fun sexy menage a trois tale. Set at Hartford Industries, assistant Amy is torn between her attraction to fun flirty new employee Abel and CEO Hartford. Things heat up between the three when Abel decides to seduce Amy and Hartford finds out and decides to play along. A fun twist at the end too!

Definitely buy if you are a fan of Charlotte Stein .

NOT SAFE FOR THE OFFICE by Charlotte Stein is only my second read by this author, what got me about this book was the blurb and the title and the fact that I like a menage book every now and then. That being said, lets get to the details of the book, while the story line has great promise I really found that it was all over the place and at times, to me, I was really not sure if they were really together or if it was just someone 's fantasy, so this made it very difficult to understand the flow of the story.

With a little work I'm sure this would be a hot, fast read.

I am however still giving this book 3/5 stars, the sex scenes are what makes this novella worth the read

I've never read any of Stein's books previously, so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I received was a white, hot book I could barely put down. It had me wanting more of Amy, Abel and Tom by the end of this and was over way too quickly. I would definally check out Stein's other books.

Note, I did receive an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Not Safe for Work by Charlotte Stein is crazy hot. It's a novella, which means it's over way too soon, but wow...Stein sure knows how to pack a punch with this m/m/f menage story.

Normally, I avoid billionaire heroes like the plague, but I adore Stein and was pleased to learn that the billionaire angle is a pretty minor detail here.

Amy is a personal assistant to Hartford, who rules with an iron fist. He's inscrutable--a real stone wall. When Amy has a tryst with Abel--Hartford's CEO and longtime friend--in the office, Hartford fires Amy immediately. She's mortified that he has seen the surveillance video of her with Abel, but confused when it seems that his reaction can only be described as jealousy.

As Amy and Abel's relationship progresses, they begin a roleplay that gradually works Hartford in more and more. It becomes clear that both Amy and Abel are attracted to him, so it seems a natural agreement when they want to turn their roleplay into reality. But will Hartford also be willing?

Abel is more mischievous and laid-back, which makes him a perfect foil for Hartford, who's stoic and controlled. When he admits his mutual feelings for both Amy and Abel, the chemistry between the three of them positively combusts.

There's a fun little twist to the story, which moves at quite a fast pace once Hartford surrenders to his desires. I only wish the story were longer and explored more of his and Abel's obviously complicated relationship over the years. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this quick and dirty story and recommend it.

Quick, erotic read...3.5stars!

Not Safe For Work is a quick read, that started off very hot and sexy. Amy Elliot never dreamed she would be instantly attracted to the new CFO, Abel Gonzalez. He’s a close and long-time friend to Thomas Hardington, her grumpy billionaire boss whose exacting needs in business make him a brilliant businessman but not easy to like.

The chemistry between Amy and Abel are electrifying and they can not resist playing with fire in the workplace which gets Amy into hot water with Thomas. The rage and jealousy gets Amy fired but Abel knows what Thomas really wants, and smooths out the situation. Things get really hot when Abel, Amy and Thomas finally explore their newly formed triad. Really hot MFM and MMF sexy goodness.

This novella is fast paced and erotic with sexually explicit detail. I wish the story would have been a bit longer to explore more characterization, especially with Thomas and Abel. And what their future as a threesome would look like, but still very entertaining

I was given an ARC of this book by St. Martin’s Press via NetGalley. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Quick, sexy book. Even though it was short, there was a good story line. The characters were funny and oh so hot! This was my first novella by this author but will not be my last. Loved the writing style. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy

If you are looking for a quick hot and steamy read, this is it. When Abel and Amy first meet there aren't just sparks, there are flames. The kind of flames that can't simply be ignored. Abel is coming on board as the new CFO to the company that his best friend Tom Hartford owns. While working closely with Amy, Abel is unable to control his desires and it turns out Amy isn't capable of holding back either. When the relationship is discovered and Hartford wants to bear witness to what goes on behind closed doors, things really get hot.

Seeing as this is a novella, I can't say that there was storyline missing. However, I would have loved to build a stronger connection with the characters. This is really what a novella is about. I always imagine a quick read, short on the history, high on the excitement, and quick to end. Charlotte hit this right on. I read this steamy story in about an hour and it was an hour well spent. I can't wait to read more from this author.

I'm not quite sure what I feel about this one. I usually love Stein's works - she packs so much punch in so quickly - but this one just didn't quite work. I think it was that I wasn't quite sure of Tom's role in it all, or Abel for that matter. The premise just never settled enough to allow me to enjoy the erotica.

Terrible. Honestly, this is probably the worst novella I've ever read. It was 70s era porn -- totally unbelievable. Not hot. Not interesting. Basically, it was 2 hours of my life I cannot get back.

'Not Safe for Work' by Charlotte Stein is the story of Hartford, Abel and Amy.
Please note that this Novella was once originally published in the"Filthy & Rich" box set.
Amy is Hartford personal assistant and with that there has only been business between them. Hartford I would say is a hard, straitlaced kind of guy. Amy is to meet Abel to show him around the work area. Abel is totally different from Hartford in that he is carefree, outgoing and a rule breaker. Abel and Amy have a instant attraction but we find that Hartford is jealous and makes a hasty decision about Amy in the workplace. But we slowly see these three people coming together into a very hot relationship.

This book was short and sweet. It had M/M/F factor but the story wasn't as deep. For me it was a good read because I was expecting the menage and the heat to be where it was with a weak plot, however if you are looking for more you will not find it here.

2.5 Stars
Short erotic. Not my cup of tea. I didn't think,it was particularly hot, it was so short that there wasn't any development so it was just the sex, and it just felt kinda corny.

Hot in all the right places. SOlid plot. Good overall writing.

I would have given this novella higher rating if it ended better than it did. I also felt disconnected with the characters. Though it was a very erotic novella.
