This was a fun, sweet entertaining read... and hot!!! Luke and Madison were likable characters and I loved how they first met. Seriously wow with the instant lust, this story started off with a bang! There's decent character development for them, enough to keep the story moving along, not weighed down. There's a bit of tension mixed in with a lot of unspoken want and need. I enjoyed them getting to know each other and how they found a middle ground to be together since they came from two totally different walks of life. They had great chemistry and the instant lust made it super hot. I pretty much accepted the instant aspect because it was just really entertaining.

This was an easy read with a bit of emotion and mild drama mixed in with hotness. The writing was good and I liked the details that were given. I really liked the dual POV and how it was laid out. I loved the first half and was totally into it but somewhere in the second half it lost a bit of steam for me and felt much slower. It was still good and I liked it, I just didn't feel as captured as I did in the first half.

All in all I enjoyed it. Instant lust turned love with sexy times and a hot mountain man. Cute storyline with likable characters. A light, entertaining read that made for an fun afternoon! If your looking for a book that has a nice amount of heat and isn’t to taxing, this is your read!

When Luke and Madison meets things become crazy for them, however they both have a lot of changes to make in order to make things work.
This was a fast paced story. It flowed nicely and I really enjoyed it

Wild and Bliss have written a must read book. Luke and Madison are an absolutely hot, sexy, steamy couple. From the first glimpse and chance encounter, Luke has of Madison screaming his name and loving every minute. Even through their differences, which they overcome, they realize that their love is strong and meant to be. After reading this book, all women will be secretly be hoping to find a mountain man all of their own.

This was a fun read. I like stories with both POVs which this one had. Both Madison and Luke were fun characters and by having both POVs I find it easier to understand their development, actions and responses. The pace of this book was fast, a little bit of action, some romance and a lot of hot chemistry.

Loved the collaboration of these two authors. Great story of 2 broken souls connecting & finding love with each other. I liked how developed the characters were and their journey of discovering themselves as well as one another.

I have heard so much about this book that I was really excited to get a copy to read. It was a quick, erotic read. Madison is just getting through a divorce. she needs to get away from the publicity and heartache. When she finds this mountain retreat, she thinks she will be able to hide out for a while. While having some "alone" time she is interrupted by Luke Dawson, the quintessential mountain man equipped with long hair and shaggy beard. Luke is also hiding out. he has lived on the mountain for 5 years. As a navy seal, he saw some things that he can't quite get over. City life is not for him. They make a connection and things get complicated. Madison can't live in total isolation. Do they have the will to compromise? The story had a lot of sexy moments and fun dialogue. The bar scene was funny and I was hoping for more of that in the story. It was better than ok but I am not as wowed as most of reviewers.

I love love love this book just like I love all of the Misadventure books! I ended up buying a copy before Netgalley approved my request but I loved it so much I would love to review it!

The chemistry in this book is AMAZING! I love that they found each-other and clung to each-other when they seemingly had no one else. I love that this book followed all the way to the happily ever after. I cannot wait to read more Misadventures books. I have loved every single one!

This book was an easy read. The two authors worked well together. I found sex right off the bat to be a little...umm...no, but I guess it works for some. I loved Luke, but found Maddie to be a bit of a ditz. I hope the future books having a stronger female and a story with a little bit more umph.

I’m a fan of Meredith Wild & combined with Chelle Bliss (a new author who I need to add to my TBR
list ) knocked this book out of the park,❤️ I read it in just one day could not put it down! I will be sure to check out the other books in the Misadventures Series - this book was JUST SO GOOD!

Loved Madison & Luke as characters they are total opposites that meet unexpectedly- sparks immediately start happening for these two !! There are a # of reasons why you would think they may not be good together but they so work !!!

Smart / snappy dialog
Amazing characters

I never usually cry over a book & I didn’t with this one either but these writers captured the feelings of love lost & found so perfectly that I found myself getting emotional - the HEA is just amazing & without giving anything away (that includes a puppy & something sparkly) - you really are hopeful that a second chance at love exists !!

Highly recommend this book !!

After a nasty divorce, Madison decides to get away from it all with a month long stay at Avalon Springs resort. She is not sure what to expect, but she knows she needs something to get her out of the funk she is in. When she gets to Avalon Springs, she decides to forgo the typical resort orientation and wander on her own. Finding an isolated hot springs, she can’t resist shedding her clothes and going for a solo swim.


When Luke stumbles upon a naked Madison skinny dipping in his favorite spot, he is speechless. Ever since he left the military, he has lived a solitary existence and been content with it. Then Madison steps in and shakes things up. Luke is nothing like the guys Madison has been with the past, but when she looks past the rough lumberjack type exterior, she sees a man she wants to know better. The only question is what will happen after her month at the resort is over with?


I would give this book 3.5 stars. It was a fun story I was asked by the author for an honest review.

What a terrific book! I loved everything this book had to offer. It was hot and spicy, had humor, and a moment of tears. I fell in love with Maddison & Luke right away. Addicted to this book doesn't really cover how much I loved it. The story plot is awesome. It didn't jump around and get confusing.

Looking for a fun, sexy and easy read...pick up this book.

Madison Atwood is recently divorced from her childhood sweetheart/movie star ex-husband, who cheated on her. Looking to get some perspective and spend some time with herself, she travels to northern California to the Avalon Spa.

A couple of mishaps put her in the path of veteran recluse, Luke Dawson. Luke has been on the mountain since his last tour of duty. He went to stay in the mountains on the acres left to him by family.

Once Madison and Luke meet, they realized their lives are very different, but will do anything to compromise in order to be together.

This was a quick insta-love story. There were several things that bothered me. Firstly Madison's habit of not only going to places she didn't know in the mountains by herself, but just walking into someone's cabin/home without know who it belonged to. Maybe I was raised to be more cautious, but this woman drove me nuts. Even walking into the woods naked in order to pee. What is wrong with her?

Anyway... I had high hopes for this series, but this book really wasn't for me. I will try to read/listen to a few others, hoping the stories improve. I also got the opportunity to listen to the audiobook through a special on Audible and I didn't love the narrators. Could have been the book itself, but something about them bugged me.

Another amazing book in a phenomenal series. I can’t put these books down once I start. Brilliant

Super fast, sexy romp, that is part of the misadventures series. Great short read for anyone who wants a taste of romance.
