Unbelievable. Each story in the Bandicoot Cove series just keeps getting better and better. Jess Dee gave us three characters. Two I absolutely loved and one, not so much. But, combining the three of them together gave us a great story and Jess Dee kept us guessing as to how it was all going to end.

Sienna is coming off a seven-year relationship with a man that she loved and thought that she would be with forever. Unfortunately, he was already married – to his job. As she flings away all of her feelings for him and the dreams that she had, an old friend walks into her life and turns it upside down. Josh, lie-with-me, Lye. Her high school crush, her heart’s desire … the one man that wouldn’t even give her the time of day. How does she handle the fact that her heart still goes pitter-patter when she looks at him? He’ll probably just blow her off.

Josh can’t believe that the woman from all his high school fantasies is the same woman he watched skinny-dipping in the ocean. He finally feels that he is good enough to get to know her … personally and carnally. He just has to get her to believe him that it’s always been her. Just as he is making head-way, a surprise visitor to the island had him doubting himself again.

Ben. Stuck-up, stodgy, she-is-mine, Ben. He’s on the island and begging for Sienna to take him back. He knows she will be thrilled when she hears all that he’s done to get her back – giving her everything that she said when she walked out on him. But, when he sees the way she looks at Josh, he knows he has to pull out all the stops. His idea of a Ménage so Si can decide, just may back-fire on him. He’s willing to take the chance to get her back.

Wow, can Jess Dee write a story! I loved how there was a little of everything in this story. A little angst, a little fun and a whole lot of love. She seriously had me rooting for Sienna and Josh and just wishing that Ben would go away. The story would have been good without Ben but, with Ben, it was wonderful. Another author who knows how to write a complete story in a novella and give the readers everything that they could hope for.

Ready to let her inhibitions fly at an island resort one woman will come face to face with her past to determine her future. Will her fantasies play out? Will she truly be happy with a no strings relationship?

This is a steamy island novella that is sure to leave you craving blended fruity drinks, palm trees and warm, sunny beaches!

Island Idyll is mind blowing hot novella. Josh and Sienna have a past that never got to intimately form, that is until they meet up years later. While Sienna was in a relationship with Ben for years that hit a rough patch. Sienna finds herself in a pickle when she is stuck between two men fighting for her. Who will she pick? The man she just began to refill feeling for or the man she’s already spent years with? This novella while short is very complex. It was a 4 star novella.

I'm gonna be totally honest with you — this novella surprised me. It was filthy and hot, which wasn't shocking given the other novellas in this series. What got me was that it also gave a fair number of feels. I'm impressed.

I want to be very cautious about how I approach this review because I don't want to give anything away. I'd have been upset if I knew how things ended before I started reading and I don't want to risk doing that to anyone else, so I'm going to keep it fairly short here. I really liked (most of) the characters in this novella. Things were SUPER complicated between Sienna, Josh and Ben. They were also blisteringly hot, which was to be expected. These characters definitely brought the sexy — and the dirty talk — when they were together. But, as I said above, they also brought a few feels in the process. Sienna had a choice to make and it wasn't going to be an easy one — the childhood crush or the recent ex. I felt her conflict and saw how hard each guy was fighting for her. I knew which guy I was pulling for — and no, I'm not going to tell you — but I was rather happy with the ending.

After enjoying this story as much as I did, I'm definitely looking forward to reading the other book by Jess Dee — a new-to-me author — in this Bandicoot Cove series.

I found myself pulled into this great story and reading way pasted my bedtime. It was a super sexy and very satisfying story with great characters. Would recommend this book and the other linked to it too. Left review on Amazon.uk

Sienna had been with Ben eight years and they were engaged. But Ben was married to his job and slowly Sienna seemed to mean less and less to Ben and she broke the engagement three months earlier. Kylie is Sienna’s friend and she mentions Sienna going to the soft opening of the new luxury resort called the Bandicoot Cove. While throwing seashells in the ocean Sienna decides to let go of the past and move on. While at the Cove Sienna runs into her HS crush- who she hasn’t seen in twelve years-Josh who is a tech expert there. Then Sienna discovers she still has a spark for Josh and this time round he was interested in her. Although she does find out most all of Josh’s HS fantasies included Sienna. But then Ben her ex fiance shows up at the island and wants to win Sienna back and become engaged again. But Sienna doesn’t want to just walk away from Josh.
I liked this story. It was a novella so a quick read. But it had a lot of action. I loved Josh and how carefree he was and Ben for how sorry he was for taken Sienna for granted so much and that he had hurt her. I did like the plot but not too much into menage but understood here. I did wish was longer But I did like the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend.

I wish Ben never showed up or if he did she was strong enough to walk away from him. Josh was what she needed and Ben was never going to really change for her. So happy she realized that before it was to late. This island is crazy and really makes the people who visit do some wild and crazy things.

Short, intense and an extremely hot read.
I can say this one didn't lack anything. Surprising but this author has now won over another reader.

This is a fast-paced steamy read. I really liked it!

Island Idyll is book four in the Bandicoot Cove series. This book is written by Jess Dee. It is my first book by this author and most definitely won’t be my last!

We briefly met Sienna James in an earlier book and now we get the chance to get to know her story. Sienna had been with Ben Cowley for eight years and they had been engaged. But Ben was also married to his work. Sienna’s place in his life fell further and further down the priority list. So, she broke things off. It had been three months. Sienna is at the soft opening of the new luxury resort, Bandicoot Cove. It’s here, while throwing seashells into the ocean, that she decides to let go of her past and move on.

“She was awed. Blown away by how right she felt in his arms. How her body fit against his as though they’d stood like this a million times before.”

Sienna very unexpectedly runs into Bandicoot Cove’s resident tech expert, the source of all of her teenage fantasies, Josh Lye. For five years Sienna lusted over Josh in high school but he never seemed interested. Now Josh is all grown up and wow did he grow up well. They immediately hit it off and Sienna realizes she still carries that same crush, only now Josh seems more than interested.

Josh Lye can’t believe its Sienna. He fantasized about her all through high school but he couldn’t act on it. Now, twelve years later, nothing is in their way.

“She’d waited a lifetime for Josh to acknowledge her, to want her, and now that he had, she couldn’t let go of him, couldn’t walk away. Didn’t want to.”

After an oh so steamy afternoon, and plans for more in the evening, Sienna gets another shock. Her ex, Ben, has shown up on the island in hopes of winning her back. But Ben is pretty surprised to see that Sienna is with another man and she doesn’t seem to want to walk away from him. So Ben suggests that he and Josh share the beautiful Sienna in hopes that she will be able to choose one of them.

Sienna, Josh and Ben burned up the pages. But the outcome was quite surprising. This is another fantastic addition to this series. I am so in love with all of these characters in every one of these books. I can’t believe I’ve never read anything by this author before but definitely plan to read more. I am loving my time spent on Bilby Island at Bandicoot Cove. I can’t wait to go back.

very fast afternoon read. Although I personally would have loved for the author to make this into a full length novel, it works. If you like hot over sexed books this one is for you. Just don't expect a complete story without holes.

This book was one big fantasy for Sienna. She came to an island to get away and to find herself and at the same time get over her ex Ben, but once she got to the island she ran into Josh a childhood crush she had for ever and nothing has changed over the yrs. Exept her ex came to the island to win her so she truly had to figure out who had her heart.

Hot, sexy, and so very decadent. A great novella, and one of my favorite of the series!
