Oh my goodness Jessica Lemmon....I loved this book.. both Davis and Grace (Gracie Lou to Davis) have bad examples of marriage from their parents... She has had a bad breakup ...he was left at the alter... These two are perfect for each other and I enjoyed their trip to a HEA. I laughed a lot and shed some tears and fell in love with another of Jessica's books. I can't wait for MAN CANDY ..Dax's story.
I really enjoyed this romance … the setting, the tropes, the characters … all of it was so well done. There is humor here as well as a lot of sexiness! It’s a nice balance of sexy and traditional romance. The relationship between Davis and Grace was really interesting and it developed very well. I think what made this work for me was the characters – I felt compelled to keep reading about them and their journey together. Really enjoyed this one!
Wow, loved this book. It was so good. The story of love never goes easy & Davis & Grace are definitely the proof of that. With love heartache in both their pasts as well as not having strong parental support in their younger years has been a double hit for each of them. I truly enjoyed how strong but vulnerable Davis & Grace were. Their story was sweet, very sexy & definitely heart wrenching at times. I enjoyed seeing Vince & Jackie again as well. As usual Jessica Lemmon has written a wonderful book to add to what looks to be another amazing series from her. I definitely enjoyed this book & now look forward to Dax's book.
Arm Candy is a sweet, sexy romance. Grace and Davis (from Eye Candy) have been eyeing each other ever since they met. But Grace knows she's not Davis' type - he sticks to blondes and they never stick around for long. He was damaged by an ex and Grace is a kindred soul, only she was damaged by her parents' divorce. So she never gets past date 3. How can two such damaged souls make a relationship work?
At first everything is OK in their world. They flirt, they banter, they eye each other over the bar where she works and Davis is a regular. When she bets him that he can't get a date with a non-blonde, Davis is determined to get one particular non-blonde in particular, (Grace is a redhead) into his bed. As they fall into a relationship, it's sweet and it's sexy, but she's got walls that Davis will need to be the man of steel to tear down. When she backs off, Davis is devastated and I was devastated for him. She's so damaged that I am honestly surprised that Davis ever managed to win her over, even a little bit. It's here where Arm Candy sort of lost me, because I couldn't connect with Grace. Her walls and damage make her into a vaguely unlikable person, and I just couldn't get past my dislike of her. I adore Davis because he's a big sweetheart, but Grace just bugged me. If she had been a little more likable I would have been much happier with Arm Candy.
Still, aside from that minor quibble I had with Grace, the rest of Arm Candy was entertaining and sweet, especially Davis. I'm looking forward to more of this series.
Loved Vince and Jackie and really enjoyed Grace and Davis. Their chemistry started in Eye Candy and transitioned seamlessly into Arm Candy. These are definitely standalones so it's not necessary to read them in order but I do recommend it. I certainly think that enhanced Arm Candy for me.
I love Grace and Davis's easy banter and the way they just fit perfectly together. This was a fun, sexy read. I was pretty surprised at who muffed up the relationship. I thought it would be the other way around. Everything worked out perfectly though. I'm definitely hooked on Jessica Lemmon! Looking forward to Man Candy. Dax sounds hot as sin!!
If you are looking for a romance featuring a hunky, smart man and a feisty, take charge woman, look no further! Arm Candy is your next book! This contemporary book is such a sweet treat! I loved Grace and Davis together! When Grace bets Davis he can't date a girl whose not a blonde, Davis is up for the challenge. Grace never suspected he set his eyes on her!
This was one of those books you just loved reading! It's not over the top, it's very believable. The characters are real and I felt this story could easily happen in my town. I liked everything about this book! Davis was so adorable. His package deals were priceless!! Lots of humor, shenanigans, and love. Perfect for a series called Real Love! Grab this gem and settle in. You won't want to stop once you start!

This book was gifted to me for a voluntary review. The review and ratings are solely my opinions.
I was hesitant to read this book after reading the first of this series. I was not a fan of the first book. This one was much better for me. The characters felt much more real and relatable. They were smart and strong, and the conflict didn't feel manufactured. This was a satisfying romance.
5 STARS FOR ARM CANDY!! I loved this book it was perfectly written and fun. Jessica Lemmon knows how to hold our attention. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book from publisher via NetGalley.
'Arm Candy' by Jessica Lemmon is book Two in The "Real Love" series. This is the story of Davis and Grace. I have read the previous book 'Eye Candy' and feel that you can make this a standalone book but I think you would enjoy their story more if you do read it.
Davis is fighting a heart ache with several casual encounters with women. But Grace is something different that he is attracted too. Grace is used to people hitting on her at McGreevy's Pub here she works as a bartender or as she calls herself 'beer mistress'. But with Davis there is something different about him. Davis is a regular at the bar and even has his own 'seat' and likes the TV to be on CNN in stead of sports. But her awareness of him is getting more intense and Davis is feeling something too.
This was actually a sweet romance story.

I have to confess that I enjoyed this book more than its predecessor, Eye Candy. Since the two books are very similar, I think it comes down to enjoying the premise of Arm Candy a little more.
In Arm Candy, we rejoin our cast of characters shortly after the end of Eye Candy, but his time the focus is on Grace and Davis.
These two have had an antagonistic relationship and the sexual tension finally boils over!
I appreciated how these two kind of stumbled into dating each other exclusively and there was real relationship building and not just crazy hot sexy time. I found myself enjoying the process of getting to know them as they got to know each other and I found myself really liking each of them.
My one complaint is that the conflict seemed forced. I understand where Grace is coming from, but it just didn't seem like enough to be the "break up" issue. I know that's a personal preference thing, so it may not be an issue for everyone.
Overall, this is well written and fun. If you've read Eye Candy, you'll enjoy getting to revisit friends. But, by no means to you have to go in order - this does stand alone.
I found Grace and Davis's story much harder to get into than the previous book in this series. It was still worth the read, however I did struggle to get into the feel of the characters this time. Maybe it was too much cat and mouse games between the two. I wouldn't mind trying it again at a later date.
Note, I did receive an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Arm Candy is a delightful treat of sweet romance. We find Vince Carson's buddy Davis Price and the redhead sassy bartender at McGreevy's Grace Lou Buchanan. The connection between them was spot on and their personalities blend together so well. They also have a lot of similarities, one particularly when it comes to relationships. I'm amused whenever they throw banters at each other. It's hilarious and sweet. Davis was a great guy. A successful stock analyst whose heart got broken. He's scared to fall in love again but when he found Grace, it's a huge step up for him to take a chance. When he loves someone, he gives it all.
What I like the most was Grace. She's a cool and tough chick. She was once vulnerable but I like she worked on her self-doubt. Thanks to Davis for assuring that he's the only woman for him. Though the story is cliché, the ending was great. No unnecessary drama and all.

I totally enjoyed reading Arm Candy by Jessica Lemmon, the second book in her new series, Real Love. This story features Davis Price and Grace Buchanan who we met in Eye Candy, the first book of the series. Davis was jilted at the altar by a red-head and has since become a serial dater, dating only blondes. He loves his routine, has a good heart, and is a great friend. Grace is a beautiful red-head bartender at McGeevey’s Pub, where Davis hangs out and flirts with her. Grace has shied away from marriage after witnessing the divorce of her lawyer parents. Despite it all, Grace and Davis have a strong chemistry and need to work through their fears toward marriage and commitment.
I really loved reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. Ms. Lemmon wove a wonderful story, with lots of humor, charm and smexy. She drew me in and did not let go until I turned the last page. I highly recommend this book to other readers and I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Davis and Grace both have issues with relationships and marriage, so it’s no surprise that it takes a dare for them to even go out on a date. What is surprising is that they both don’t want to put an end to their time together. But as is often the case, their issues from the past interfere and threaten everything they’ve built so far.
Jessica Lemmon has been a favorite author for quite sometime, so I was thrilled to be able to review an advance copy of her latest release and, once again, she exceeded every expectation! Exceptionally well written and edited, Davis and Grace’s story is told with humor and heart and sure to please any reader. Ms. Lemmon has a way of getting deep inside her characters which in turn puts them solidly in your mind as they work their way into your heart. A classic romantic comedy with just the right balance of humor and hotness, this second book in the Real Love series is sure to put a smile on your face, so hit that 1-Click now!

This book hooked me in right from the start with the well written storyline that flowed flawlessly from page to page and the characters were so well developed that I felt like I was peeking through a window watching as the story unfolded between Grace and Davis!

This was such a great book! I have read this author before and loved the books. This author's writing is always on point and consistent. You know you are going to get a great read. Grace and Davis' story is no different. You can feel the sexual tension between the two coming off the pages. I enjoyed watching them give in even if they didn't want to.
