Oh Gracie Lou what can you do? I would imagine that having parents who are divorced and divorce attorneys believing in love and marriage would be hard. Despite Davis having a jaded view of love and marriage it might just work out for them. This is a sweet story and great characters!
This is a very captivating novel. I loved that the main characters are so different from the common romances. A tattooed female bartender! That rocks!
It has a predictable ending with HEA but the story has some aspects and difference that made it worth the read.
It has very hot scenes and a pair of twists and turns. A sweet read with a lot of back and forth banter before they come to the conclusion.
Worth the read.

I enjoyed Gracie and Davis so much. Its a sweet story of chances and love.
"Bartending is the perfect background for a tangled romance that leaves you aching and filled, and Arm Candy 100% delivers." - Sarah Robinson, bestselling author of the Kavanagh Legends series
I am a big fan of Ms Lemmon's writing...I always look forward to her new releases, unfortunately at first this book just did live up to what I had expected. I was unable to become invested in the characters, Davis was shallow and Grace unbelievable in her attraction to him. They were such an unlikely pair that I lost interest in their story early on. But...and this is a big but, I hung in there to the end and am so very glad I did. I was not disappointed.

Arm candy is way too simple to describe this book. This was full on dessert. I loved loved this book. It was so easy to read and not get bored. It was fast paced but not over the top and a realistic representation of what it's like to get back on the wagon when you have been heartbroken. Gracie and Davis are adorable as the dance around each other and try to navigate the mine fields of dating. If you are looking for a light hearted, fun, and sometimes serious love story this is the book for you.
I loved Eye Candy so much that I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Davis and Grace’s story. The two stories are quite different and while this plot is very similar to many other stories, it still has a fresh feel to it.
You have the womanizer that was hurt and has one-night stands with blondes. I could feel the ongoing hurt that he had carried for many years but sometimes his actions and the things he said were just too sleazy!
Grace didn’t want commitment after watching her parent’s marriage and the disintegration. She seemed to believe that she could see someone briefly, end it, and not get attached or hurt.
These two people could not be more different from each other – Davis, a suit and tie wearing finance guru, even though he worked from home. Grace (or Gracie Lou as Davis called her), a bartender with red hair, tattoos, and nose ring. Neither are interested in commitment but can’t help but feel the pull towards each other.
There were many funny, sweet, and with just the right amount of steamy sex scenes. But at one point, the two just broke my heart. In true romance fashion, everything works out for a positive future.
Ms. Lemmon writes fun characters, witty banter, and poignant storylines and I can’t wait to read the next story in this series. I laughed out-loud several times and highlighted numerous areas of the book. I love a story that can make me laugh and Ms. Lemmon definitely has a special talent for entertaining.
Thanks to Loveswept and Netgalley for the ARC.
Oh how I loved Arm Candy! This book is part of a series but can 100% be read as a standalone. It is funny, sexy and completely entertaining with just the right amount of heart and soul to balance it out. The characters are endearing and the perfect match for each other. Davis---the complete opposite of what I was expecting him to be after meeting him in Eye Candy (book 1). He's been through a difficult trauma and has closed himself off because of it. He holds secrets and the walls he's put up to protect himself are pretty strong. Enter Grace, the wildcard. She's strong, independent and afraid of getting hurt. What happens when 2 people fall for each other but are afraid to fully let go for fear of heartbreak? Read Arm Candy to find out! Be prepared to laugh, swoon and fall right alongside Davis and his "Gracie Lou". 5 fabulous stars!
I ended up liking this book more than I expected to. At first I thought it was going to turn into a standard plotline of an unlikely couple coming together because of their sexual attraction the have sex, engage in sexually-tinged antagonistic banter, have more sex, eventually decide they love each other. The end. But the guy, buttoned-up, but sexy Davis and feisty, red-headed bartender Grace turn out to be more than what they appear to be on the surface. They each have their hang-ups about romance and getting serious, but then realize that they mean more to each other than just a good shagging.
I enjoyed reading along with their discovery of what they felt and how each of them was the seemingly unlikely, but right match for the other.
I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Arm Candy by Jessica Lemmon was such a fun and light read. Two opposites who find what they least expect in each other. The chemistry is steamy and their banter will keep you engrossed. This is book two in the series; however, I did not read the previous book, but never felt lost.
Grace works as a bartender at McGreevy and is used to being hit on. Comes with the territory. But relationships are out of the question for her. She wouldn’t even know where to begin. She never really had the best examples of what constitutes a good relationship. But there is something about the man who frequents the bar, in a suit and tie no less.
Davis finds himself captivated with Grace, though she is not exactly his type. He likes them bubbly and blond. Ones he can enjoy and walk away from. Grace is all attitude, tattooed and pierced. But something about her draws him in. But he too avoids relationships due to what happened to him in a previous relationship.
When a dare forces him out of his comfort zone, Davis knows just who his target will be. Both Davis and Grace had great chemistry and I loved the banter between them. They were easy to like. But both had some heavy baggage to overcome in regards to relationships and learning to love. Could they be just what the other needed or are they too different to make it work?
This was an opposites attract story that was just an easy, fun read with great characters and feel good moments. There was some light angst and obstacles each had to face, but overall, great characters and a story line that will draw you in.
This is the second book in the series and it doesn't disappoint! Davis and Gracie started their banter in book 1 at the bar where Gracie works and Davis is a regular and it continues in this book.
Davis was left at the altar six years ago and since then he has developed "packages" for his dates to choose from so they don't get too involved ... The Basic Davis, The Deluxe, or The Premium. He has developed this package system because he cannot let his heart get involved in a relationship again. That is until Gracie.
Gracie doesn't believe in happily ever after because of her divorced parents, who are divorce lawyers. She grew up with people who argued ... all the time. She didn't want to chance such a relationship, so she decided no relationships. That is until Davis.
Gracie bets Davis that he cannot ask out someone other than a blonde and he takes her up on her bet ... and asks her out. Gracie agrees and picks her package. But when the package is up, neither one wants to admit that they don't want it to end. This is a lighthearted romantic comedy with lots of steam. You will laugh out loud, and you choke back a few tears. Take Davis and Gracie's journey with them ... I promise you won't regret it.

I received this book as an ARC via Netgalley. In all honesty, it was slow and boring as well as quite predictable. I really did not enjoy it.
Grace and Davis see each other at the bar she is a bartender at several times a week. He even has his own stool. They each orbit the other but don't really get to know each other since they each are not looking for a commitment, etc. Davis accepts a challenge from Grace and she agrees to go out on a date with him. He has been dating blondes exclusively since a redhead abandoned him at the altar. Grace was tough to connect with for me. She was more like a manwhore in her thinking and her actions. The fact her parents divorced after trying to stay together for her didn't really work for me. No marriage or love is perfect and she used that as an excuse to self-sabotage all of her relationships before they could even form. Davis calls her out on her behavior and doesn't let her control the situation all of the time. She was shallow and immature at points in this story. He had a bigger reason not to try love again and yet she was the one acting like she had been burned as badly as he at love. He put himself out there several times and Grace just stood back like a quivering, fearful child that needed to be put in timeout. Her relationship with her parents did not excuse her behavior. I did like their chemistry and how both of them tried to be there for the other one at critical points. Their was the usual push/pull and the subsequent realizing what they had was special. Overall a good read.

ARM CANDY by Jessica Lemmon is a standalone contemporary romance in the Real Love series. Sizzling hot and filled with wicked banter and snark, Lemmon will soon have you swooning and experiencing all the feels.
Coffee Dates with Arm Candy
First Date: On our first date we get to know the players. Grace is a fiery red-head with brains whose law degree sits in the back of her closet because bartending is what makes her happy. She doesn't believe in happily ever after and has never had a serious relationship. The suit at the bar aka, "Davis" is a regular and the chemistry between them zings, but neither has made a move. She sees him as a player, and he never dates red-heads. While I am unsure of Davis and think our girl Grace has issues Lemmon has me hooked.
Second Date: Oh yeah, this is going to be fun. Davis is smooth, and a bet made with a snarky jest soon has them negotiating a relationship with an end date. The chemistry was off the charts, and the heat level had me fanning myself. Hot, romantic dates, firsts, and steamy shower sex soon lead to Netflix binging, shared moments had me enjoying their moments together. Secondary characters added to the tale and enabled insight into Davis and Grace.
Third Date: Can these two overcome their fears? The dual perspective allows reads to connect. The drama was kept to a minimum and allowed character growth. Grace struggled, and Lemmon did a great job of validating her fears with a tight backstory and a demanding mother. Davis's grandma was adorable. I hope I am that sassy at her age! Swoons, tears and tender moments await you on this third date. I read ARM CANDY in a single evening and closed the book with a smile.
ARM CANDY offers readers a smoking hot, and tender romance filled with delicious banter and wicked snark.
I love reading book series & this one doesn't disappoint. Davis & Grace are great characters that were introduced in Eye Candy. I was hoping they would act on the sparks that were flying during their banter in the previous book even though Davis had sworn off redheads & was only dating blondes. The development of characters is great, & it's great to see Jackie & Vince & where they are at now. I highly recommend reading this book to see what crazy ride Davis & Grace take together.
I loved reading Davis and Grace's story! Another winner for Ms. Lemmon. Grace is quirky and easy to relate to. Davis is less shallow and braver than we thought. I loved meeting these characters and you will too!

Hot damn! I loved this book! I was keen to read it after the first book and then when I found out this one was Davis, oh boy I was excited.
I love Davis so much! I had a bit of a perception of what he would be like and I was totally wrong. I loved him from the start and I loved Gracie as well. In the first book in the series I loved the little snippets we got of their banter, but when you get a whole book about them, oh boy oh boy oh boy.
Lemmon writes these in such a way that the story flows nicely with lots of fun and happy bits, info about the characters pasts and very little angst. I love that the angst isn’t dragged out. I don’t mind when it is, but in these books it works so well the way that is, which is not dragged out.
The ending of the book was perfect as well, I really loved it.
Bring on book 3!
Arm Candy Jessica Lemmons
I made a mistake when I picked up Arm Candy by Jessica Lemmons, it's a common one for the uneducated reader, I forgot to research the author first. It wasn't until I I came to write my review that I realised that arm Candy was the 2nd book in Jessica Lemmons Real Love series, Luckily for me the fact that the book was the second in the series did not detract from the enjoyment of reading Grace and Davis story like I said I didn't even realise it was the second book in the series!
The sassy Bartender and her womanising regular each have their own role when it comes to interacting with each other at the bar. Grace is the stoic one watching Davis chase after females at the bar and providing scathing commentary. Engaging in sarcastic banter Davis knows he shouldn't be attracted to Grace there's so many ways that she's not his type but that doesn't help him to fight the attraction he feels. With just an ill worded bet the pair are forced together outside of the bar and their feelings come to a head.
Full of witty Banter between the leads and a few angst and drama filled chapters where the pair realise that opposites really do attract I give Arm candy 4 stars, and I am going out to get my copy of Eye Candy the first book in the series today.
I just love with this author and her books. Each new series I read they just keep getting better and better. I totally love this series too. The first book was just fantastic and I can say this one is even more brilliant than the first so bring on the next one book please as I'm super excited to read it and anymore by this author. I really can't wait totally recommend
Davis and Gracie are very, very fun to watch in action. From either of their hang-up's, to when reality sets ins for both. It was great watching their story develop and see how both grew as people. It was a very fun read!
