Chasing a Legend is the fourth title in the Kavanagh Legends series, and features Quinn and Kiera. This title is a heartfelt friends to lovers, second chance romance, with equal parts emotion, drama, and romance that takes place three years after the previous title Becoming A Legend.
Quinn is incredibly loyal to his family, to the point of putting his own reams and desires on the back burner in order to support his family.
Kiera and Quinn both have pre-conceived notions regarding being hurt that makes them vulnerable and they both have a tendency to hold back when it comes to love and commitment.
Chasing a Legend has a very strong theme of family, but it's also a really sweet romance, with moments of humor. This title has a great blend of scenes that are hot and steamy, and those that are full of emotion and heartache.
I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between this pair and the rest of the Kavanagh clan. For the most part Kiera and Quinn's banter is fun, flirty and humorous and I really liked the way that for in the most part they talk out their issues. I really enjoyed watching the relationship between this pair evolve.
I will look forward to reading more of the Kavanagh Legends series.

The relationship between Quinn, an injured MMA manager, and Kiera, his doctor, physiotherapist, and childhood girlfriend, is sweet, angsty, and complicated.
Caring for Quinn pushes Kiera’s professional boundaries. It was hard to believe that she wouldn’t just hand him over to another doctor when she recognised him. Kiera isn’t the most convincing medical professional and her professional drive didn’t always match her actions in the story – she most often comes across as family focused and broody.
Quinn has spent his life building the family business, but his heart is in the artwork he makes in secret. In many ways, this story is about him rebalancing his life to allow him to follow his passions instead of the sense of duty that has been eating away at him.
The near decade long miscommunication between Kiera and Quinn didn’t work for me, but I did enjoy watching them reconnect after a long separation. Kiera helps Quinn’s mental and emotional rehabilitation as much as she helps him heal his body. This is a medium-heat story with lots of romantic angst and a few very steamy scenes.
I found Quinn’s family a little bit bewildering. I read this as a standalone novel and it probably should be read in series order as it was difficult to get my head around all of Quinn’s large Irish family. I really don’t understand the Irish American culture where Irish identity, language, and culture is exaggerated beyond anything I’ve ever seen or experienced in contemporary Ireland. It’s not just this series – I see it often in American books and on American television and I find it very odd.

I have loved every one of these Kavanagh brothers so far and knew that Quinn would be the one to steal my heart. Although he is the manager, agent, and promoter of the brothers that are MMA fighters, Quinn has never wanted to get in the ring. He was better behind the scenes – or ropes, as it may be. But after a near fatal accident, it was a struggle to walk again. He has one passion that no one knows about and that is sculpting. When he learns who his doctor is for his physical therapy, will Quinn be able to let Kiera help him heal without losing his heart to her again?
Dr. Kiera Finley has always wanted to help people and being a physical therapist is the best way she can. When she comes back home to Woodlawn for her medical residency, one of her first patients is none other than Quinn Kavanagh, her childhood friend. After one night of passion with Quinn before she left for college six years ago, Kiera didn't think much about the feelings she had for him that night. But now as she spends more time with him and gets to know him, she is realizing just what those feelings were.
Can she help him heal and both follow their hearts for a happily ever after? Will Quinn tell his family about his passion for sculpting? What happens if Kiera gets the fellowship in Seattle she signed up for over a year ago? Will they both get their hearts broken in the end?
If you love a good series or even a good MMA story, you can read this one. It can be read as a series or as standalones and you will not miss a thing, but I would recommend reading them all. These Kavanagh brothers are great and the whole family is funny, loving, and the best. And I love Sarah Robinson, she can make you fall in love with these stories so easily. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

I love that though this series revolves around the Kavanagh boys and their gym, each one has such a unique and different story. I think this one might have been my favorite of the series so far, though I think I’ve said that about each book because I love them all so much!
Quinn was nearly killed in a motorcycle accident that’s left him needing a ton of physical therapy to recover. Since they were kids, Quinn has had a crush on his best friend, Kiera, and when he finally thought they were going to get a chance, Kiera disappeared to college without a backwards glance or goodbye. Now, six years later, Quinn discovers Kiera is going to be his physical therapist, and he’s not exactly happy about it. He’s not sure how to handle the only woman who has ever held and broken his heart. It takes a bit of convincing, but Kiera is finally able to convince Quinn to listen to her reasons for leaving the way she did – she’s also able to convince Quinn to face his true passion, art, and his fear that his family will think he’s crazy for pursuing it.
I love Quinn and Kiera together – their back and forth banter had me in stitches on more than one occasion. This book is definitely a 5-star on the steam scale, when Quinn and Kiera finally wind up in bed together it’s HOT. I just love the amount of emotion the author puts into this book, it made it difficult to put down, it’s a real page turner. I can’t wait for more from the Kavanagh clan!
This is a second chance at love story for two people who find their way back to each other in a very unexpected way. Chasing a Legend was funny, sexy and emotional. I loved seeing Kiera and Quinn reconnect and get to know each other.
There is so much emotion packed into this one that just places the reader right into the story. Meanwhile flipping pages like the mad hatter. Sarah's books are always above and beyond well done. Her plot lines are solid and her characters are living and breathing people, larger than life. I am anxious to see what she has in store for us next!
This book, this series, is nothing short of amazing. I am completely invested. The only thing is I always have to wait a long while for the next book. But Quinn is finally here! I read his story and it was amazing. I loved Quinn. In the previous books, he was always a really closed off character. He is the fourth brother and the first, but not last, brother who isn't an MMA fighter, He does work with his older brothers in their fathers gym but he is their agent. he works along side their father.
But there has always been something different about Quinn. Something that made him not want to follow in his father or brothers footsteps. He has something much deeper in him and it shine in his story. His childhood comes back to haunt him after a really bad accident. I cried within the first two chapters because poor Quinn!
Kiera, I was very unsure of her at first. I didn't trust her. But she did grow on me. I loved seeing and reading about the other characters from the previous books. We get to read about Rory, Clare, Kieran, Fiona, Kane and Nora. I love that the whole family is entwined in each brothers story. This story has it's sad moments, there are times I had tears in my eyes. I just freaking loved Quinn!
Let's chat about chapter five. That chapter is what changed the game for me! That chapter blew me out of the water. I was sitting outside at the Dunkin Donuts at the top of my street. My mind was going crazy when Quinn was revealed! That was the chapter where Quinn completely opens up.
This review is a complete praise to Quinn and all the Kavanagh's, but everything I'm saying is true. The one and only thing I wished for more of was more of a back story from Quinn and Kiera's childhood. We know they were really, really close growing up, but I wish their story reflecting a little more on that. I wish we had a couple chapters of flashbacks, especially at the beginning, before chapter five, just to open up with a huge bang. When Quinn runs into Kiera, we know she means something important to him but not really sure how deep it really went. A chapter of their past would have been perfect, maybe a dream Quinn has of their past, just giving us a little insight.
But that still doesn't change how this story made me feel. I freaking loved it. All of it, no matter what.
5 amazing Quinn-filled stars!

Chasing a Legend by Sarah Robinson was a well written, heartwarming read and I really enjoyed it.
The storyline kept my interest all throughout the book, the characters Quinn and Keira were likable, relatable and I enjoyed watching them reconnect and find love.
I've really enjoyed the Kavanagh Legends series, each book has been entertaining and a joy to read.
I highly recommend this book and series.

This was a cute best friends to lovers/second chance romance. This is the first one I read in the series. I loved the whole family and what they added to the story. There was a lot of emotion in this story but it also wasn't anything super special that made it stand apart from others. It was both sweet and steamy. Overall an enjoyable read with a HEA!
Another great book in this series. This one is a bit different than the others, in the sense that Quinn is not an MMA fighter. He has always worked in the gym but does not have the passion that his brothers have. Right from the beginning something happens to Quinn and he is placed in the hands of a physical therapist Kiera. He and Kiera have known each other all their lives. We get to see them reclaim first a friendship and then a relationship. We learn what has happened in the past. I also enjoyed seeing how Quinn accepted who he was and his passion, how his family took in that side of him.
I loved everything about it. I read the book in one sitting. I'm looking forward to Jimmy's story, you can feel that there is something off with Jimmy in this story. I can't wait to see what comes about with him.
This book is a sweet, low angst second chance at love story.
Quinn Kavanagh wears his heart on his sleeve. His heart has always belonged to Keira Finley. Unfortunately Keira never noticed Quinn's feeling for her before she left for college and broke his heart.
Years later their paths cross and Quinn's world has been turned upside down. He will need Keira help him recover, not just physically but emotionally too.
Keira is dealing with her life issues. Having Quinn up close and personal makes everything that much more complicated.
Their story is a wonderful second chance at love. It's rich with emotion, toe-curling sensuality and full of the crazy Kavanagh family to make two people destined to be together realize it.
Great afternoon read.
Quinn (and his brothers!) is a sexy, well-written, complicated man. In each of the books in the series, the man meets his match in the perfect way, and this was no different. Their relationship had its ups and downs but was so interesting to read. I love this series.

Synopsis:
The most soulful Kavanagh brother tackles the challenge of a lifetime—with a little help from the girl of his dreams.
“Fans of Lori Foster’s SBC Fighters series will love the MMA atmosphere of [Sarah] Robinson’s Legends.”—Library Journal
A topnotch manager and agent, Quinn Kavanagh pictures a life outside of his family’s renowned MMA gym. Beneath his sleek exterior, Quinn has a secret passion for sculpting. But after a nearly fatal motorcycle accident, he’s struggling just to walk again, let alone get back to the studio—and it doesn’t help that the doctor in charge of his physical therapy is his childhood crush. Quinn’s always ready for a fight, but the bittersweet sting of unrequited love has him begging for mercy.
Dr. Kiera Finley is determined to make her medical residency a success. Six years ago, she gave in and shared a single passionate night with Quinn. Now she’s just hoping the cocky lover from her past doesn’t derail her plans for the future. Little by little, though, Kiera gets to know another side of Quinn. She knew he was a family man, devoted to his parents and brothers, but he’s also a free spirit trapped in a cage—and only she has the key. To heal both Quinn’s body and soul, Kiera’s tempted to give him a special kind of medicine.
My Thoughts:
This is the fourth book in this series and Quinn and Keira’s story is my favorite so far. This book touched my heart so much! I have been waiting for Quinn’s story and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! Quinn isn’t a fighter in the family legacy. He is the man behind the MMA gym and behind his brothers as manager and agent. He is his father’s right-hand man. After his accident, Quinn questions if he wants to go back working in the family business or changing direction.
Quinn and Keira were childhood best friends and Quinn was in love with her. When Keira wanted to lose her virginity at 18 before she went to college, she couldn’t think of anyone else that she would want to share it with but Quinn. She also had feelings for Quinn but she was heading to college and needed to concentrate on her dream of being a doctor. The night before she left for college, she and Quinn took care of her virginity problem. Quinn wanted to tell her that he loved her but chickened out. The next day, his brother told him to quit moping around the house and go and get his girl. By the time Quinn arrived at Keira’s house, flowers in hand and heart on his sleeve, she had already left without a goodbye. There was a huge misunderstanding between them and their relationship was never the same. She broke Quinn’s heart. My heart hurt for him. I have to admit there were a few times I teared up throughout the book while reading.
Six years later, Quinn is in a terrible motorcycle accident that requires him to have physical therapy. His doctor (who is in residency training) is none other than Keira! He had no idea she was back in town. There is nothing better than an unrequited love story, lost first love, and second chance at love all rolled into one great story!
I love the Kavanagh clan and this book can be read as a standalone but to really appreciate all there is to this series, start from the beginning. The main characters are developed and they had me from the start. The Kavanagh brothers and their families are part of the supporting cast and I felt like I was a part of their family. There is so much involved with this story. Family drama, push and pull between Quinn and Keira, Quinn trying to find himself after the accident and Quinn and Keira trying to work out where they wanted to take their relationship. I was totally entrenched in the story. I don’t want to give you any of the plot points as I feel it needs to be experienced.
I highly recommend this beautiful love story between Quinn and Keira. Nothing better than a love story about the one that got away and the hero that has pined for her for years.

Quinn's book is finally here!!!!!!!
It seems like we have been waiting a lifetime for 'Chasing A Legend' to be released but you know what, it was worth every single second.
The 4th brother of the boisterous Kavanagh clan, Quinn is definitely a lot different to his older siblings. Where they preferred to be in the ring, Quinn opted for the sidelines as manager for his brother and talent agent to the family gym 'Legends'...that is until an incident which leaves him feeling lost and unsure how to move forward.
'Chasing A Legend' is about Quinn's journey of healing, finding himself and finally fighting for something he wants. Something that he hadn't really been searching for.
With a blast from the past re-entering his life, this is a a beautiful second chance romance. One that will have you laughing your arse off one minute and tears streaming down your face the next.
Sarah, you have delivered yet again with your Kavanagh boys and I cannot wait for Jimmy's book next.
I have watched you grow as an author over the years and your writing and confidence just grows with every book you release.
I love your writing and the feelings you evoke in your readers.
I adore you my lovely, and you will always have me as a fan, a reader and a friend.
Chasing a Legend is the fourth book in the Kavanagh Legends Series. Although each book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the entire series from the beginning. This series showcases the Kavanagh Family. Making names for themselves in the MMA world, each brother has found a special someone to share their life with except for Quinn. It's finally time for Quinn to reclaim "the one who got away."
Dr. Kiera Finley has returned home to work and gain experience as a resident at a local hospital. Imagine her surprise when her former best friend, with whom she shared one night of passion with, ends up in her care as a patient who needs physical therapy after a horrible accident.
Quinn has watched his brothers fall in love and find happiness, and yet, he is still alone. He never imagined he would ever see Kiera again. The shock and awe of seeing her again brings back all of the feelings that he has hidden for all of these years. As Kiera and Quinn reconnect, they face plenty of obstacles along the way. They both must find the strength in themselves to trust and love again. But even if they find themselves again, can they put aside the problems from their past and the questions about their future in order to make a life together.
Told in dual POV, Chasing a Legend is a stunning second chance romance full of passion and heart. Quinn is a complex character torn between the loyalty he feels for his family and the love he feels for Kiera. His accident causes him to recognize what is most important in life. Kiera is an inspiration with her strong aspirations and her driven focus to become the best doctor she can be. Ms. Robinson never fails to create strong female heroines who overcome their circumstances to find success. Quinn and Kiera offer a beautiful and tender second chance romance full of passion and heart. I love being back with the Kavanagh family and with each book we have a greater glimpse into the lives of each brother and their relationships. The steam factor is off the charts as Quinn and Kiera reconnect. And as the fate of their relationship is hanging in the balance, I could not tear my eyes away!
Overall, I highly recommend this series to all contemporary romance fans. Chasing a Legend is a stunning addition to a fantastic series. Second chance romance fans will love every second with Quinn and Kiera. Can't wait to see which Kavanagh family member is next.
4.5 stars
I am loving the Kavanaugh family and was super excited for Quinn's story. I was not disappointed at all.
Quinn has always been there for his family when is needed. He may even be loyal to a fault. Watching his brother's find happiness in love has him thinking about it himself. While recovering from his accident gives him too much time to think. Will he ever find love again or did Keira take his whole heart with her when she left?
Keira is loving her life as she works her way to becoming a physical therapist. Moving home to do her residency is a little surreal but she will survive. When she meets her first patient and discovers it is Quinn she is a little thrown off. She and Quinn were best friends until she ran off to school. Although missing him like crazy she has not been able to approach him after the way she left.
Will the reconnect between old friends be good? Is it possible they may feel more than friendship? Will the past always hang over them?
Ms. Robinson did a wonderful job with this book. I truly felt the emotions and fears of these characters. Drawn in from.the very beginning and couldn't put it down.

What’s it About? Quinn has been the manager and top agent at his family’s MMA gym for years but it’s not what he’s passionate about. He has a secret passion for sculpting and his family has no idea. When he gets into a life threatening accident, Quinn’s energy is pretty much taken up by the physical therapy sessions he needs so he can walk again. Making things worse is his physical therapist who happens to be Quinn’s first love who walked away from him after they spent the night together. Dr. Keira Finley wasn’t aware that Quinn was desperately in love with her when they were younger, he was her best friend, and suddenly he wasn’t. Now she has to help him recover from his accident all while trying not to let her feelings for him distract her from her future goals.
Overall reaction to the story? Sarah Robinson has brought a new feel to her Kavanagh series with Chasing a Legend! Quinn isn’t a fighter like his brothers and truth be told his passion isn’t in the MMA world and the story reflects the man. I loved the way this story was told and how much more rooted in softer emotions it was than previous books. Quinn and Keira’s story stands out more because it steps away from the physicality of the MMA world and towards art and the loss of first love.
Describe the hero in five words: Artistic. Quiet. Passionate. Caring. Loyal.
Did you like him? Yes.
Why? If Rory, Kane, Keiran are the brawn of the Kavanagh family, then Quinn was the brains. He wasn’t a slouch in the physical appearance department but Quinn was the “sensitive” one, the one more in touch with his emotions than his stoic older brothers and that made him stand out a lot in a family of MMA fighters. Quinn had the same intense focus as his brothers but I liked that he was an artist. I do love a hero that’s an artist of some kind and to have someone like Quinn who came from a family of very physical people be an artist was neat. Quinn was the kind of “different” that the series needed to give it some variety. The Kavanagh men as a whole could be overwhelming and somewhat intimidating but while Quinn was pretty much an alpha, he didn’t immediately dominate scenes especially with Keira. He showed a softer side of the family and I really did enjoy him as a character.
Describe the heroine in five words: Shy. Sweet. Intelligent. Stubborn. Determined.
Did you like her? Yes.
Why? Keira was the very picture of determination and practicality. I loved that she put her career first and wasn’t ashamed of it, just ashamed at how clueless she was about Quinn’s feelings when they were young. Keira was fun and she was a sweet person, sometimes bordering on innocent which got a little frustrating (She doesn’t swear, who doesn’t swear when they’re dealing with a frustrating male like Quinn????) Keira’s patient and encouraging personality did win me over though, she was gentle when she had to be but also had this stubborn streak a mile wide and was willing to go toe-to-toe with Quinn when he was being unreasonable.
Let’s talk about the romance: I loved that Quinn fell in love with Keira at a young age and that he carried that with him for years until he saw her again, it made Chasing a Legend feel different from the previous books. There was a sweetness to their passionate romance that echoed the feelings of a first love along with the newness of a more mature relationship. In a way they were picking up where they left off except this time Keira was more aware of Quinn’s feelings and her own. I liked that they also had a friendship that they were repairing after being apart for so long. A good friendship makes a romance feel stronger to me.
How about that supporting cast? There can’t be a Kavanagh book without the whole of the family stepping in at various times and I loved seeing them again. They’re loud, bossy, blunt, and loyal to each other. Their dynamic is unique and not perfect. Quinn’s relationship with them is that of a loving son and brother but he also hesitated to show them who he really was and where his passion really was and it wasn’t in fighting or managing fighters. It was in art. That presented its own conflict within the family but the Kavanaghs are nothing but loving and supportive towards one another even as they tease and drive each other nuts.
Click It or Skip It? Click It. The different feel of Chasing a Legend reflected how different Quinn was to his family but at the same time he is a Kavanagh through and through.
This was a fantastic second-chance romance. Quinn and Kiera's story was full of emotion and at times they drove me crazy (mostly Kiera) but I loved every second!
4.5 Stars
Yes! Loved this one! Reminded me of Rory and Clare's book. Books 2 and 3 were kind of blah. But Keeks and Quinn brought it home for me.
I love the Kavanaugh family. Every last one! The timeline jumps ahead 3 years from the last book. This book is second chance love but really, Quinn and Kiera never fell out of love. They just needed to admit it to themselves and each other. They have been best friends their whole lives. After 6 years apart, it was really only a matter of time and some conversation and they were right back to best friends again.
I loved the humor between these two. So sassy and sarcastic. I loved that Quinn needed to redefine himself not only within the family but also in Kiera's eyes. Mostly, that love of family that oozes from this series just makes the book wonderful.
Jimmy is next to fall maybe?? And, oh boy, Casey will give all those boys a run for their money. Any guy she gets serious about had better hold up to the Kavanaugh family.
This is the 4th book in the Kavanagh Legends series and it can be read as a stand-alone but you will know all the characters better if you have read the entire series.
Quinn Kavanagh is a trainer at the family run Legends and manages his brother Kane, a MMA fighter when he is in a serious motor bike accident. Five months later he has entered rehabilitation therapy in an attempt to get his body moving again. Nothing surprises him more than discovering who his new physical therapist is.
Kiera Finley was one of Quinn's best friends growing up, even with their 3 year age gap. Yet when she was 18 and he was 21 something came in between the two of them and Keira left town without a word.
Will Quinn be able to let Keira know how he has always felt or will the thought of her leaving him again make him push her away?
I loved this story and learning more about Quinn. Quinn had been through hell with his accident and was only becoming to come out of it 5 months later. He hates relying on others which pushes him to get better but at the same time he also feels like he has to live a life that has been drawn out for him.
I loved learning about Quinn's artistic side and I was torn when Keira signed him up as it was almost a foreshadow to something bad happening. I was honestly petrified after Quinn seeing the letter that another accident could happen.
I liked Keira and was very curious to learn more about her and most importantly why she left. It was great getting to know her and I was definitely sad that she broke Quinn's heart all those years ago and I really wondered if it could happen again.
The ending was absolutely awesome and I loved what Quinn did! I also was super impressed on what his dad did and how he convinced him what the right thing to do was!
I’ve really enjoyed the Kavanagh Legends series, and Chasing a Legend did not disappointment. This book has a lot of heart, and readers will fall in love with the quiet yet strong Quinn Kavanagh.
Quinn’s life was changed after a devastating motorcycle accident, and he’s still recovering both physically and emotionally. He’s reunited with his first and only love, Keira Finley, when she’s assigned as his physical therapist. Quinn never stopped loving her, but neither understands exactly what happened between them six years ago. But both want to understand and want to explore their feelings to determine if they have a future.
Quinn is still struggling to define himself again after the accident, because he’s no longer managing his brother’s MMA career and isn’t sure what he’ll do or where he’ll fit yet. Keira does a beautiful job of supporting him during this transition, so that he can discover what he’s truly passionate about.
Quinn and Keira are a lovely couple. They have great chemistry and a truly warm and supportive dynamic. Chasing a Legend is sexy and sweet.

As always I would like to first thank Netgalley, Random House Loveswept and InkSlinger for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.
I have to say that I was a little shocked with the huge time jump that Sarah Robinson gave us in this book, but I do understand the need for it. Sarah broke my heart at one point. It was so hard to see how things have changed with the Kavanagh family. The fact that Quinn has changed so much and has gone through a tough time after getting hurt. Kiera has always been in love with Quinn and finally gave in, only to have things go the wrong way for her. Now I do understand that it was a miss understanding between her and Quinn after their one night, but she also needed to build her life. I hated to see the attitude that Quinn had but I can also understand a lot of that came from a place full of hurt. It was sweet that in the end he makes the right choice and the moves that are needed for Kiera to be able to continue her career and life path. I hope that the next book with the Kavanagh family will bring us back to being a family together again.
