Quinn Kavanagh never wanted to be a MMA fighter, but he was the force behind making his brothers Champions. As their agent, Quinn lined their pockets, his, and a majority of the fighters who sought to make it "big" in the MMA world. Quinn also helped bring the family's business, Legends, back from the brink of bankruptcy. While he was always the "responsible" one and the one everyone could count on, he couldn't tell his own family his true dream of becoming an artist.....On the way to pick up his brother Kane, Quinn is hit while riding his Ducati. The nearly fatal accident has Quinn re-evaluating his life. First, he has to get through physical therapy!
Dr. Kiera is the "one who got away". Kiera left Quinn six years ago, not knowing she had broken his heart. Kiera left to pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor. When Kiera wasn't accepted into her first choice residency program, she opted to return home to complete her residency. Kiera didn't expect Quinn would be her patient, as she didn't even know her former best friend was injured. As Kiera helps Quinn gain strength and mobility, she also starts to slowly break down his walls. Kiera decides she's "all in" on giving their relationship a shot, while Quinn continues to hold back. He doesn't know if he can trust her with his heart again....
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this novel!!! It was utterly swoon-worthy!!! I loved the rambunctious Kavanagh family, the tight knit community, Kiera's strength and quirkiness, Quinn's devotion to his family.....EVERYTHING!!! The whole novel was sooo good!!! Even the dogs were AWESOME and an important part of the family. I liked how Kiera brought Quinn out of his "quiet". She encouraged his art and his dreams. This is a must read novel!!! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Sarah Robinson serves up a sweet, sexy second-chance romance with Quinn and Kiera’s story in Chasing a Legend. After a lifetime of friendship and one impassioned night that changed everything, this duo went their separate ways only to be reunited years later when Quinn finds himself under the care of Kiera (now a physical therapist). Their connection was immediate and their chemistry undeniable, the perfect building blocks for a heartfelt and deeply satisfying journey. Sarah Robinson did a fantastic job blending Quinn and Kiera’s old familiar feelings with their exciting new ones to create something enchanting and utterly addictive. I fell hard and fast for this adorable couple, reveling in their shared history and thrilled at the promise of something bigger, better, and forever taking root this time around.
As much as I adored Quinn and Kiera as individuals, I really connected to their journey as a couple. They pushed each other to try new things, take risks, and live life on their own terms. Quinn and Kiera grew together in a way that was simply breathtaking and I couldn’t help but fall head over heels for this unforgettable duo. I enjoyed experiencing the emotions that came with wading through this couple’s past, loving both the heart-wrenching admissions and passionate revelations that came to light while exploring their hurts and moving forward together. The dynamic between these two characters was truly one-of-a-kind and it made rooting for Quinn and Kiera’s happily ever after an absolute must. Sarah Robinson had my heart soaring with the totally unique road these two travelled together and I loved that in all of their doubts and insecurities they felt entirely genuine.
This would have been a 5 star read for me had it not been for the handful of storyline inconsistencies and medical improbabilities that pulled me out of the story. It’s the little things that really create a fictional world for me and finding error in the details tends to keep me from losing myself completely to an author’s words. If you’re not one to linger on the small stuff then you’ll probably be head over heels in love with this story because, for the most part, I genuinely was. Sarah Robinson has effortlessly re-captured the unique and brilliant feeling of family that readers have come to adore from the series. I absolutely loved seeing more of the Kavanagh family, catching up with past couples and getting hints at who we can expect to hear from next. Beautifully written and paced to be devoured, Chasing a Legend is the perfect addition to the Kavanagh Legends series. Quinn and Kiera are sure to leave their mark with this stunning second-chance romance!
The Kavanagh's are one of my favorite fictional families. Quinn Kavanagh's story just adds to my love for this series. So many feels and as always tears were shed. Quinn and Kiera's story is not just one of second chances but of hope. Absolutely loved how we still got to see snippets of the rest of the family. There were some crazy emotional scenes in this book, I was caught off guard and I love when an author does that. Sarah Robinson definitely pulls (or tugs really hard) at your heart strings. Absolutely a must read!!!! And the epilogue had me laughing so hard!!! Can not wait for the next book in this series.
I have not read any of the Kavanagh books prior to this one, but I absolutely fell hard for this family and will definitely be going back to catch up with this family
Quinn and Kiera have a second chance at romance. They were best friends in high school and Quinn always loved Kiera until she left for school without a goodbye. Quinn was shattered. I loved this part of the story because we have this tough tatted up guy who was gutted when the girl he loved left him. He didn't know if he'd ever be able to move on. When Kiera comes back to town and is Quinn's doctor, her feelings for him are just as strong. I loved watching them discover the love that never got a chance when they were younger. Quinn is my favorite kind of hero. A rough and tumble guy that is sensitive and a heart of gold.
This family is everything a great family needs to be. The writing had me in tears and I felt all sorts of emotions through the book. This was a fantastic read!
4 Stars
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Breaking a Legend (Kavanagh Legends #1)
Saving a Legend (Kavanagh Legends #2)
Becoming a Legend (Kavanagh Legends #3)
This is Kiera and Quinn’s story. Quinn has loved Kiera for years but when she left him with no goodbye he thought it was over and has pushed her out of his life ever since. After he gets hurt and she is his doctor he learns she might not have known the depth of his feelings. Can he allow her back into his life if she just might break his heart again? What happens as they grow closer and start are planning for the future will they be able to decide to move on or stay together? What about plans that were set into motion before they were together? Will they give them up or fight for the future together?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book
Wow, this book had me hooked from the very first page with the well written storyline and the characters were so well developed that I was totally engaged until the turn of the very last page!

Quinn Kavanaugh manages Legends, the family’s MMA gym and his brother Kane’s MMA career. When the family was having financial troubles, he single handedly brought them back into the black and feels a huge responsibility for his family.
Quinn is severely injured in a motorcycle accident. 5 months later he is just starting to get mobile again. When he shows up to start Physical Therapy, he is shocked to discover his therapist is the only girl he’s ever loved who left him without looking back 6 years ago.
Kiera/Keeks Finley is working on her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She felt something for Quinn 6 years ago, but her upbringing wouldn’t allow her to pursue it.
I was expecting so much more for Quinn’s story. We are told more than shown Quinn’s healing progress. Quinn and Kiera fell back together rather quickly and easily. Dual POV in their heads, too much, and not enough to each other. I was expecting a lot more romance. By 29% they were sleeping together but neither trusted in the relationship or each other.
Even though this is an MMA family series, there was no MMA action, just some sparring in the background. We catch up with sibling pairings from previous books and other family members. Love the matriarch’s sassy, take no attitude personality and how she keeps everyone in line.
There just wasn’t anything very interesting going on in this story. The grand gesture at the end was the best part of the book. I was looking forward to Quinn’s story. For such a short read, it took me a while to get through it because I was easily distracted. This is only my second book in the series and I’m not sure I’ll continue with it.

. This was a second chance story. We have Quinn Kavanagh who has motorcycle accident and is now struggling to walk again, and who ends up being his physical therapist, but none other than the girl who broke his heart 6 years ago. He does not want to develop feelings for her again, he does think he could go thru that again, but he does not know everything that happened. We get to see the whole loud family again. Not my favorite of the series, but not bad.
5 Yay it's finally Quinn's book Stars
So I have read every book in this series so far. Since book one I have been longing for Quinn's book, and now having finished his story I find myself sitting here hugging my kindle going awe Quinn! I just loved tattooed, bike riding, bad boy Quinn so much. This book was so good I am just floating on a cloud of happy feels. It was everything I hoped for and more.
Quinn was just so yummy. He was smart, strong, protective, and had a goofy playful side. He was so loyal to his family. Dependable, holding his family and their business together. I also loved that he had an artistic side. There was just so much to Quinn's personality. Kiera was iffy for me at first. I love Quinn so much that when I found out that she hurt my Quinny I kinda wanted to punch her in the face. But then I found out she didn't know she hurt him so I warmed up to her. I liked that Kiera was so outgoing. She was smart, sweet, and she not only believed in herself but she believed in Quinn.
I love friends to lovers books, so to find out that Kiera and Quinn have been friends since they were little kids and that Quinn has been in love with her the whole time just made my day. Their back story was so sweet. They had some smoking hot passion. One of the things I love the most about this book, besides Quinn, is the Kavanagh family. Through this series I have fell in love with the whole, huge, loud, nosy, loving, bad ass family. They all hold a special place in my heart and I love reading about them. The HEA was great and made me smile so big. I loved this book and I can't wait for the next book (Jimmy?) in this series.
Chasing a Legend by Sarah Robinson is the fourth book in her Kavanagh Legends series. Though this is part of a series, this is the first book I read and did not feel lost. What happens when the one that got away returns when you need her the most?
Kiera and Quinn were the best of friends, until one-night changes everything. Afterwards, she leaves without a word, leaving Quinn heartbroken. Years later, Quinn has spent his time helping to manage his family’s MMA gym. He put his own dream aside for the sake of his family. Doing what was right and expected of him. Then a motorcycle accident almost cost him his life.
Kiera Finley is back home to do her medical residency, as a physical therapist. Her next patient? Quinn Kavanagh, one of her best friends and the one she walked away from all those years ago. Quinn is suffering and struggling to get back to normal, but can the woman who left him heartbroken be the one to help him?
I loved Quinn. He is sweet and charming. I loved his interaction with his family. But when Kiera comes back into his life, he is angry and distant. Kiera was funny, caring and the first to help others. She had her reasons for leaving, but now she is determined to show him how much he means to her. But is it too late?
This is a second chance at love story for two people who find their way back to each other in a very unexpected way. Chasing a Legend was funny, sexy and emotional. I loved seeing Kiera and Quinn reconnect and get to know each other. Now I must go back and read the other Kavanaugh stories!
Final Score - 4.5 Stars!
Finally ... Quinn's story and I floved it! Quinn has always been a bit of an enigma of the Kavanagh clan, but now we see just what makes this man tick. I believe the most intriguing part of this story is that it's a fantastic look into how to go after and get your second chance at love.
Quinn has always loved Kiera and years ago, they shared a night of incredible, life changing passion. It meant the world to Quinn as he believed that Kiera was finally able to see him as more than just her pal. But, it wasn't to be as the very next day Kiera was gone without a word. Kiera got scared and made the only decision she felt she needed to do at the time - pursue her dream. You know what they say about hindsight?
Well, now Kiera's back. Is the same flame of passion that burned so hotly between them still alive? Are both of them willing to take the chance to jump out of the frying pan and into the flame?
I love this entire series. The is family dynamic is what continues to draw me back for more. I highly recommend this one to everyone. I refuse to spoil the journey this book takes readers on - All I can say is that YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK! I enjoyed revisiting previous characters and being introduced to new ones. This is not a book to be missed or passed up on.
* I received an exclusive ARC of this book *
Quinn has been in love with Kiera since childhood, but she shattered his heart after their one night together when she walked out and left for college without a single goodbye. Now, she’s back in his life after returning home and taking a physical therapist internship and who other than Quinn turns out to be her first patient. Quinn’s accident left him with more than just the physical injuries. He is at a pivotal point in his life and Kiera’s return has him torn and guarded. She is still the love of his life. She still has the power to destroy him, but he cannot resist the magnetic pull that is Kiera.
This is a powerful and brilliant story of second chances. Not only in love, but with your dreams and happiness.
I loved Quinn and Kiera’s story. Their banter, the playfulness, the humor, the chemistry, their love, it’s powerful, it grabs your heart and holds on tight. All the feels and emotions jump off the pages and consume you. OMG the Kavanagh family is a hoot! Never a dull moment when they are all together!
Phenomenal job, Sarah! I can’t wait for the next one!

5 CHASING A LEGEND STARS!!! Wow, I love Quinn, he is probably my favorite Kavanagh. Sarah Robinson has outdone herself with this fantastic book, her storytelling is phenomenal and sucks you into the story. This book will hit all your emotion buttons. Quinn and Kiera has a past and it was amazing seeing the journey play out. Sarah Robinson is one of my favorite authors of all times. I highly recommend this book and all The Kavanagh books. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book from publisher via NetGalley.
This is a second chance romance and, oh my, it was so beautifully told! Quinn Kavanagh is nearly fatally injured in a motorcycle accident and it takes him months to recover before he is even ready to begin physical therapy. When he finally does, his doctor turns out to be the woman he has been missing for the past six years, Kiera Finley. They were best friends growing up and after sharing one night together she disappeared. These two were best friends who lost so much after Kiera left town but can they recover what was lost and build on it? Are the feelings still there? I did not read the previous books in this series and did not feel anything was lacking. This is a big and loud and loving family and it was fully brought out in this book.
I definitely recommend this book and I will be going back and reading the rest of this series.

CHASING A LEGEND is the fourth installment in Sarah Robinson’s contemporary, adult KAVANAGH LEGENDS erotic, romance series focusing on the Kavanagh family of MMA fame. This is twenty seven year old MMA manager and agent Quinn Kavanagh, and twenty four year old Dr. Kiera Finley’s story line. CHASING A LEGEND can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. CHASING A LEGEND fast forwards the series approximately three years.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Quinn and Kiera) CHASING A LEGEND is a second chance story line that focuses on the rekindling romance between Kiera Finley, and Quinn Kavanagh. Six years earlier Kiera walked out of Quinn Kavanagh’s life, breaking his heart and destroying his soul. Fast forward to present day wherein Kiera is now working on her doctorate in physical therapy, and comes face to face with the man she has always loved-Quinn Kavanagh-but a man she barely recognizes since the accident that almost destroyed his life. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Quinn and Kiera, and the fall out when Kiera’s future, once again, interferes with the couple’s plans.
Quinn Kavanagh continues to struggle with the loss of the only woman he has ever loved. Six years have yet to heal his broken heart, and a near –fatal accident compounded Quinn’s agony when the object of his affection becomes his only chance for recovery. Kiera Finley’s future beckoned but leaving behind the man that she love broken more than her heart but her faith in any hope for a future with Quinn Kavanagh.
The relationship between Quinn and Kiera is one of second chances; a rekindling romance that proves twenty years of friendship and love is more powerful than a lack of communication, or misdirected thoughts about their final goodbyes. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including the entire Kavanagh family, as well as new MMA manager Flynn Gallagher, who has caught the eye of the only female in the Kavanagh clan-cousin Casey. There is some great back and forth banter between all of the siblings, as well as the Kavanagh matriarch Dee.
CHASING A LEGEND is a passionate story of family, friendship, second chances and love. The premise is engaging and spicy with some amusing and playful moments. The characters are dynamic and colorful; the romance is fated, provocative and emotional. CHASING A LEGEND is a moving and captivating story from the pen of Sarah Robinson.

The last few months have been tough for Quinn Kavanagh since the night of his near fatal motorcycle accident. But now with the help of his childhood crush, Dr. Keira Finley, he might just start to be able to find his way back to doing the things he loves like his secret passion for sculpting. Yet, the more time he spends with Keira, the more Quinn finds himself falling for her all over again, especially when she encourages him to follow his dreams. However, when the right opportunity arises for one of them, will they stay together or will they decide to end things?
Just like all the other books of this series, this story was everything I'd hoped for and more in the way it was enthralling, fast-paced and had me enjoying the main characters due to their back stories and everything they go through to be together. The way this story started with the prologue had me empathizing with the hero because of what happens to him, yet it also had me hooked as I was determined to discover how life has been treating the hero after his accident. However, it was from the moment the hero and heroine met that had me amused due to the heroine's reaction to Quinn.
As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters history, as Quinn doesn't know whether he'll ever be able to trust that Keira won't leave again. Will Quinn give her a chance? However, in saying that, the dialogue wasn't all intense. There were some really good light-hearted moments that had me smiling, Furthermore, Keira was an enjoyable heroine and I loved her back story. Why did she leave the way she did all those years ago? She's also resilient, brave and I liked how determined she was to first win back Quinn's friendship and then discover whether they could be more. I also liked how much faith she had in Quinn's artistic ability and how she encourages him to follow his dreams. Will he finally confess his love of art to his family? Will he follow his dreams like the heroine encourages him to?
While Quinn, he was a fantastic hero who has been through a lot and I couldn't help but sympathize with him when it came to what happened with his accident. Certainly, he's lucky to be alive and I liked how determined he was to get back to being able to take care of himself instead of relying on help from his family. I also liked his enthusiasm for his art and his determination to pursue his dreams, as he needed to know whether he could have more outside of working for the family gym. Will his family be supportive of his dreams? Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine is the tight bond he shares with his family and how they will do anything for each other whether it's offering much needed advice or offering each other support in tough times.
Overall, Ms. Robinson has penned a fantastic read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was powerful; the romance hot and made me think that Keira is one lucky woman with being able to get a second chance with Quinn; and the ending had me liking how supportive Quinn's family are when it comes to being with the woman he loves. Yet, what I liked most about the ending is how determined Quinn was to win Keira back because there was no way he could live without her. I would recommend Chasing a Legend by Sarah Robinson, if you enjoy the second chance romance trope or books by authors Corinne Michaels, Sidney Halston, Brenda Rothert and LP Dover.
Sarah Robinson is truly brilliant with words. There are no words...which is pretty much how every book of the Kavanagh Legends has left me. Speechless. Amazingly, each book gets better than the last, (I did not think that was possible but it was) and the first one was awesome! I'm not sure what words out there… that out does awesome, but I need two of them. I loved this one! This one is my favorite in the Kavanagh Legends series. I was hooked from the beginning. This is an amazing heartbreaking but beautiful story. I know heartbreaking but beautiful may sound weird but you will totally get that when you read the story. This author has quickly become a must read author for me.
Chasing a Legend was funny, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and beautiful!! I just want more of these characters. I don’t think I will ever get enough.
Chasing a Legend is a fast paced and interesting story. The story was well written, and the characters were well developed. I like the Kavanagh family dynamics and I can't wait to read more of them.

Chasing a Legend
Kavanaugh Legends #4
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quinn Kavanaugh had his heart broken when his best friend Kiera left him without even saying goodbye 6 years ago. Now after Quinn had a near fatal motorcycle accident, he is in physical therapy only to find out his Dr is no one other than Kiera. She has returned home to complete her residency.
Kiera has a lot to make up for even though she has no idea why. She never knew Quinn had feelings for her. But she can't deny the feelings she has for him now. But can she get him to open his heart back up?
This was such an awesome and romantic story. It was so real and the characters were awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on more of this Kavanaugh family.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Engaging characters? Check
Decent story line? Check
Interactions between the main protagonists that will just draw you deeper and deeper into the book until you never want to come back out? Check and check.
This is the only book in the Kavanagh legends series that I have read, but that didn't matter. I think that possibly, coming to this fresh, meant that I didn't have any expectations for this, the fourth book in the series, which means that I can assess it purely on its own merits, rather than what hopes I might have had, if I had come to know Quinn through his brothers' books.
Another well crafted story from this author.
