Oh this book! It was just what I needed.
I couldn't go from book 2 to 3 fast enough.
The story and characters just draw you in so much. And the world that Craw created for them is just spectacular. I found myself not being able to flip the pages on my kindle fast enough.
Everything in this one has so much life and dimension. You can seriously get lost within the pages.
This book wrapped such a great series in the best way. And I found myself flipping through with any free time I had between school and work. If that's any indication to just how good this one was haha

Atlantis Reborn is the third book in the Atlantis Rising series, and I really hope it's not the last! We rejoin Allison, Ian, Lillian, Theron, Luke, and Phoebe (to name some of my favourite characters) as Allison prepares to say goodbye to her human life, and take the mantle of Chief of the Laurel Clan. With her abilities, she is able to find out things before she's even really started, which sound like they will have a massive impact upon the dewings.

Falling back into Allison and Ian's world was like wrapping myself up in my cosiest blanket, complete with hot chocolate with marshmallows! This is meant in the best possible way. It was just so easy to fall into the storyline and be reunited with the various characters and storylines.

This book is exceedingly well written, and the pace is very smooth. Allison does her thing, but she also has amazing support from those who have given Allison their loyalty, in return for hers. I still love Phoebe, and Theron is just a grumpy teddy bear who tries to hide the fact that he cares.

All in all, this was a wonderful addition to the series... and the ending? Holy crap!!! So many things sorted out, so many things left open. There simply HAS to be more books. Absolutely recommended by me.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *

I hope we get some novella or something to see what happens from here. Especially with alyson’s cousin and Phoebe. Those two are cute and I think can develop into something.

In this last book Alyson is going through alot. She grows emotionally and has to find her way into who she is awfully fast. Her role as clan leader is about to begin and she is to embark on a new journey. this to me is the most dangerous of the books because Alyson is now having to face the consequences of any decision she makes. She has kept secrets from Ian and when they come out could hurt them. There is the fear of not being likenessed, not being accepted by other leaders and of Sebastian still being out there.

The story starts with a bang and ends with a romantic and wonderful moment. Alyson shows her gumption throughout the book with the decisions she makes. Ian is standing by her side just as supportive and sweet as ever. But she also has Phoebe, Lillian, the keepers of the Arx and her cousin as well to help her through it all as well as Ian’s parents.

As she is about to do her ceremony to become a clan chief a new situation arises. One that can harm her race. Only some may not see it that way. She gets others to help her in uncovering what exactly is known and what they find is a doozy. Once this is brought out sparks fly and choices must be made. We see a division in the clans but Alyson and her cousin surprise us once more. As does an unexpected enemy. Only Alyson does something no one expects and gains the respect of the clans.

throughout this book Alyson is faced with many daunting tasks and she handles them with grace. She doesn’t let her fear control her but does what she feels is right. With Ian and her cousin by her side she is strong and confident in all she does.

Her and Ian are wonderful together in this story and find their way through all their problems that come up. He is just as great as before. His love and support of Alyson is seen in every action he does. I love how he is sure that she is his likeness and never wavers in that belief or in his belief in her. That I think helps her feel so calm and steady knowing she has that love and support from him.

The book is well written, action packed and interesting when you see the clan dynamics and politics. It is just alyson’s view however and I think it would be fun to see Ian’s. Each character brings out an emotions whether like rose and her mother where you want to scrunch your nose at them because of how horrible they are or Ian where you just get the warm and fuzzies or even Alyson’s cousin who has you laugh at his grumpiness but warms your heart with his unwavering belief and support in alyson no matter what there will be an emotion about a character. A great ending to a fascinating and interesting series.

Atlantis Reborn is the third and final book in the Atlantis Rising series by Gloria Craw and I have to admit, I kind of forgot that there was going to be a third book until I was notified that this was being released. Having read the first two, I dove right in as I wanted to see how things were going to end up for these characters.

This book picks up shortly after the end of book two and Alison is officially the head of the Laurel clan which means she needs to meet with the clan leaders to discuss what happens next for everyone. As the story opens, Alison is essentially saying goodbye to her human family (the McKyes) even though they don’t know it. Since things are changing drastically for her, she needs to cut her ties and it isn’t easy for her. Luckily she has Ian and his family to help her through everything.

When Alison gets to the Arx, she begins to learn so much more about who she is and the Laurel clan. She also learns more about what the other clans are concerned about and what they are willing to do to achieve their goals. The biggest issue the clans face right now are tied to their decreasing population and some have uncovered a way to create Atlantian hybrids and Alison knows firsthand how bad of an idea this is.

What I liked about this series was how much growth Alison’s character goes through and it happened throughout every book. She is adaptable and continuing to learn who she is but also where she can help the Atlantians. She has a different perspective and isn’t afraid to share her thoughts and opinions.

The secondary characters were well done in previous books but it felt like they definitely took a backseat in this book. Ian didn’t really have a role here and in my opinion, was really just there as filler. Theron was there to support Alison but he seemed to be her errand guy. I liked the addition of some of the new characters and it was great to see some old characters back in the mix.

Overall I enjoyed this series. While it wrapped the series up well, I don’t know that this one was my favorite. With that said, I thought Craw did a wonderful job developing both the characters and the story. Having crossed paths with the first book in this series inadvertently, I am glad I was able to read the entire series and explore this world that Craw developed. I will definitely be watching for anything new she writes and if you are looking for something different with a unique story, definitely consider checking this one out.

This series is magical, we have amazing characters like Allison, Ian, Lillian, Theron, Luke and Phoebe. When Alison becomes the clan chief she makes decisions that change her life. In each book you find a changing event. Alison and Ian have a sweet romance, but would've loved it more if there was more into them. It is a series that could continue with all secondary characters, and hope it does.

After reading this series back to back this book had a different feel. I think mainly because they all seemed to work together and she had embraced her Atlantis heritage. There was more about the Atlantis past history which was very interesting. The secondary characters were once again a favorite of mine and I wish I could know their stories. The romance between Alison and Ian was still slight. Would have liked to have seen more of them together as a couple. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my review. Will definitely be watching for more books by Gloria Craw.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. Thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to read and review Atlantis Reborn by Gloria Craw! Alison becomes clan chief and makes choices that change her life. Each book in this series has Alison handling a different life changing event. Atlantis Reborn, the third book of the Atlantis rising series, gives Alison much more than one change to her life. She's matured and knows everything about her past, her parents and her heritage. She gains loyal friends, becomes stronger and enjoys her relationship with Ian. Atlantis reborn is the book of this series with the most action, humor and romance. The ending is also perfect. 5 stars for an entertaining fantasy read!

"Atlantis Reborn" is the third book in a really enjoyable series. It takes a bit of a turn and focuses more on world development and less on the action/journeys we've come to enjoy from the first two in the series. Here, Alison must leave the human world behind and take her place as the Laurel clan chief, a tradition steeped in ceremony. Leaving her human family behind is really difficult for her, and we spend the first part of the book watching her do so. The rest of the book focuses on her duties as clan chief, the ceremony to officially make her clan chief, and her first big meeting as clan chief. This book begins to build up the history of Atlantis and the world of the dewing. We're introduced in brief to some other clans and learn more about Lillian's past/history which has only been hinted at previously.

Most of the characters we've come to really love and enjoy take a backseat in this book, as we focus on Alison's feelings and inner turmoil. This is by far the moodiest of the three books, and this makes sense as Alison is leaving the world she knows behind and taking on some big responsibilities. However, we sacrifice the usual purpose behind her actions (a clear journey/quest) and the action/suspense (albeit mild- it really added something) of the past books. Even her relationship with Ian seems pushed to the background. The last 20% or so of the book really picks up, but I found it pretty lagging in the middle, and it was tough to push through some of the filler.

I did really enjoy learning more about the history of the dewing and some of their fables/key stories. I wish these had come earlier in the series to set up some more distant foreshadowing (here, you learn about them and then the relevant events occur pretty quickly). We've already established the most critical aspects of dewing culture, so they really just cement what we already know rather than add much to it. Most of the book is worry about a discussion/decision that will made, rather than the culture-saving/fixing of the first two where people's lives were on the line. I suppose, theoretically, the decision could leave people's lives on the line, but it seemed more political and mild (and we already know how it will go). This series has been really strong and entertaining, so I was a little disappointed in this third book as it wasn't as strong as the first two, which kept me really enthralled.

That being said, I did still enjoy it and finished it within a few days. The last part was definitely worthwhile and akin to the parts of the first two books that readers loved, so in my opinion, readers following the characters/series will be pleased with the final parts of the book. Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Atlantis Reborn is the third installment in author Gloria Craw's Atlantis Rising series. 18-year old Alison McKyes, the protagonist of this trilogy, has to make a choice. A choice that will change her life forever. Since she is a descendant of the fabled city of Atlantis, the only one of her clan still alive, and she will soon become clan leader of the Laurels. Which means that she will have to find a way to leave her human family, the McKyes, and her brother Alex behind. A choice that is both heart breaking, but necessary.

Alison is a thoughtmaker. She can implant thoughts into multiple Dewing as well as humans. Alison's journey will take her from Vegas, to Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Here Alison will become one of the 15 clan chiefs, if she survives. Some of the clans are not her allies, and they don't want to see someone so young take the reigns of a clan that was shattered by a devious and cunning adversary who still hangs over everything in this book. This is one of the more interesting storylines in the story. The other is an even darker one that threatens the Dewings very existence, and may send them into extinction like the Caribbean Monk Seal.

The other question is whether or not Alison will be given the choice of who she is bound to for life, or will fate choose someone for her instead? Alison and Ian are in love, but to break them up would be catastrophic for both of them. In this world, crazy things like that happen regularly. Just ask Alison's cousin Theron Falco his thoughts about likeness. I have to say that my favorite things about this story are Theron, Lillian, and Ian. I love grumpy, adorable Theron who should be working for the NSA denying the Chinese, North Koreans, and Russians access to our personal information. I love the cranky, book nerd Lillian who really comes out of her shell this time out. Lillian has been a friend and a supporter of Alison for some time now. Ian, well, Ian is just the perfect partner for Alison to fall madly, deeply in love with.

Atlantis Reborn is the third book in the Atlantis Rising Book Series by Gloria Craw. I found this book starts right where the second book left off. I really like that because I feel like I already know the characters. The author does a great job with the plot line in this book that it will leave you second guessing all the twists and turns. I found this to be a fun but quick read
