I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it A Bloom sister finds love again. Predictable but cute. I like this series because it's an easy read and a light hearted story line.
I was given an advanced copy by NetGalley for an honest review.
My first thought is how the author really captured the life in Hollywood. Fin went from a self absorbed world to one of caring and giving. I loved how she grew and opened up through the story.
My very favorite part was about Mindy. So take your time reading and watching the town show their love. This is where I think Fin really starts to break down her walls.
My only negative is it ends abruptly, I wanted it to continue on. Now my hope is for Eliza to find her prince.

I loved the first Good Hope book, Chrismas in Good Hope, and was hooked since then. The books are fun and I enjoy knowing that the Bloom sisters are all going to end up happy with the men of their dreams. That being said, this wasn't my favorite book in the series, primarily because of the fake engagement based on a premise of lies. I felt like Jeremy was such an upstanding character (actually one of my favorite men of the series) that he wouldn't have gone along with the fake engagement as it totally goes against his character. I get that they did it so as not to upset Grandma Ruby, but I don't think that gives her enough credit, as she seems like a fun, spirited character who wouldn't have just curled up and died had Jeremy and Fin not gotten engaged.
Xander was beyond awful...Fin was way too good at heart for him, and she knew it, but getting her to the point of admitting it was painful! Her inherent strength and goodness of heart was another reason that the fake engagement just didn't resonate with me.
All in all I did enjoy this book just as I have enjoyed all of the Good Hope books. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, as I always find myself wishing I lived in a place like Good Hope. And fall is the perfect season for a new book to curl up with!

I have enjoyed reading and sharing about the trials and tribulations of the Bloom sisters in Good Hope and Fin's story does not disappoint. Cindy Kirk brings her characters to life, showing both character flaws and character strengths. Although Fin and Jeremy were the main characters in this chapter, it was great seeing what her siblings were also doing. I am hoping that the next book will be written from the point of views of all of the Bloom sisters or possibly the Blooms father, Steve. Even the minor characters were not minor. I am looking forward to seeing if the connection between Hadley and Brynn is what I think it is.
Sisters have very strong bonds with each other and Cindy Kirk portrays that sister-love very accurately. This is the second book I have read in the series, having started with #3, Be Mine in Good Hope. I enjoyed reading about realistically flawed people who fall in love despite of their brokenness and mistakes. Having read previously about Marigold and about Delphinium in this book, I plan to read the love stories of the other Bloom sisters, too. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.

This book is 4th in the series, but can be read as a standalone. It seemed like everyone but Fin knew the outcome of the game engagement. Jeremy even figured it out at some point.
I didn't care for Fin in the previous books. She came across as someone who would never put up with a person like Xavier.
I enjoy the Good Hope series. The characters are well written, life is not Stepford Wives perfect, people have character flaws, but the sense of loyalty and community are very strong. There is a bit of sexiness and a good deal of romance. Each couple gets there HEA, but there is always a bit of a tease that makes me want to know what happens with that next couple.
I would definitely recommend this book if you like small town romances with a little mystery, and a lot of interesting character development.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book through NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.. I rarely give 5 star reviews but I must admit I was quite taken by this book in the series. I was definitely in love with Jeremy and his grandmother (the old she devil). I was glad to see Fin get her happy ending and I only wish there were more Bloom sisters to write about. I enjoyed the ladies and how protective they are over their father and Anita (I-Need-A-Man) adds the perfect spark of laughter. Looking forward to reading more about Good Hope.
Fin’s story exceeded my hopes. I was so glad that the fake engagement with Jeremy made her realize that her real fiancé wasn’t the right man for her. So good to have all the sisters in Good Hope again.
Ms Kirk has written a charming story about a place I would like to live. Good Hope is a town where the people know one another and care about their neighbors. They work at keeping their town friendly for residents and visitors. Christmas is a great time to visit with everyone helping to make the town look like a winter wonderland.
Delphinium Bloom has made California her home for the last ten years. She visits her home town occasionally but is always ready to return to her dream job in California. Her boyfriend, Xander Tillman, believes he's found the perfect place to film his next project. The only problem is the Good Hope people don't want to close their town down for the whole month of December. Xander has promised to pay a lot of money to the town if they agree to his terms. Xander asks Fin to step in and make sure the town decides in his favor. He even wants her to use her influence to persuade the mayor, Jeremy Rake, to vote for his project.
Fin is not sure if closing the town for December is the right thing for the town. The longer she is in Good Hope the more she comes to realize she might not be the big city girl she thought she was. She does know she doesn't want to be ordered to do something that is underhanded and immoral. This may be the beginning of the end of her career and her relationship with Xander.

Cindy Kirk has achieved another great book in this series! I love the small town setting and connectedness you feel when reading this book. It is a heartwarming story of true love finding it's way back between Fin and Jake. The characters are authentic and that draws you in to the story as well. I am so glad that I picked up the first book in this series! It has been a fantastic set!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Let me start out by saying that this lady can definitely write a love story. If you are looking for sex, sex and more sex, this is not the book for you. But when the characters do get down, you will definitely get hot and bothered. This is a love story with some twists and turns. I loved Fin and Jeremy. I have wanted them to get together since the first Good Hope Book. I love this series and I hope we can get a bonus story about the dad. Now that the girls are settled and in love, I want him to find love too.
I love this series and this book is so, so good. I love Fin and Jeremy, they are so sweet and strong. This book is really good and so much worth reading it, I couldn't stop once I started reading. Since I don't like spoilers I won't say anything about the story, just know if you like the other three books in the series you're going to love this one. I can't wait for the next book, so exited to keep meeting the rest of the characters.

There are many stories of fake engagements,
this one though is so very different, it hits the right notes that makes it stand out from the others.
Ms Kirk brought believability to Jeremy and Fin's fake engagement with a love that began in their teen years. Their emotions were so palpable that it was hard to not feel their love for each other. Though it was frustrating waiting for them to come together in truth, rather than make believe, the journey was worth the wait.
Though you knew how the story was really bound to end, the way the author provided the path they took to get there made that journey so much more rewarding to this reader. I'm only sorry that I hadn't read the previous books in the series, I know I missed out on so much of the foundation that led to the emotions Jeremy and Fin's story evoked.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
This was book 4 in the Good Hope novel series. Fin, or Delphinium, had lived in Los Angeles and had a high powered celebrity type lifestyle. She was engaged to Xander, a Hollywood director, who wanted to film a movie in her hometown of Good Hope. He had left her there to "get the job done" or in other words to convince the town council to vote to allow him to take over the town for the month of December and delay Christmas activities until January. Her former long-time boyfriend, Jeremy, was the town's mayor, and Xander was convinced that Fin could convince him to vote their way.
Jeremy had loved Fin for always. They had broken up after high school and she had left. His grandmother was ill and erroneously thought that both he and Fin had finally gotten engaged after seeing the big ring on Fin's finger. She agreed to have the heart surgery she needed to save her life and Fin and Jeremy agreed to a pretend engagement in order to convince Ruby, Jeremy's grandmother, to have the surgery and look forward to planning a wedding. But the more time Jeremy and Fin were together, the more they realized they didn't want to be apart. But Fin had a secret that she had never shared with anyone and Jeremy had a right to know but could he forgive her for not telling him earlier? Could she live with the guilt she felt? You will have to read and find out.
I have read a few other books in this series and this one was just as wonderful as the rest. I was given an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Forever in Good Hope is a well written book about second chances at romance. Loved the plot and author's writing. I have not read previous books but must take a look at them.
I was waiting for this story of the fourth Bloom sister and was pleased to receive an advanced readers copy to read and review. This series is chock full of happy, and the world needs more of that.
I'm not going to tell you the story-- why spoil your fun? -- but will share some thoughts. First, please please please read the series in order! Enjoy the introduction to the four sisters named for unexpected flowers and watch their lives bloom. (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
Cindy Kirk explores the themes of small towns vs big cities, first loves vs glitz and glamor' and our constant search for fulfilling lives. She does this with a light hand, good humor and sigh-worthy romance. The dialogue is realistic as are the situations -- and I say this with the hindsight of a grandmother who left the megalopolis of life on the west coast for the pleasures of mid-America.
Fin's story in this book isn't a big surprise but there are unexpected twists, gleeful grandma moments and the continuing stories of characters we met in the first three books. I highly recommend this series for sheer relief from the tensions of life. It's fun, and there is more to come!
This is the fourth book in the Good hope series and the last of the bloom sisters stories. Fin has come back home to Good hope to convince the town to redo the vote of having her boyfriend Xander movie filmed in the town during christmas. This would mean the town would have to shut down the many christmas activities. As always as Fin coming home she has to see her ex boyfriend Jeremy who is now the mayor and who was the decided vote to ax the movie idea first time around. Xander who happens to be the director of the movie and Fin boyfriend has convinced Fin to return to good hope to have the city board and Jeremy that its in their best interest to have the production which will bring money to the town. What ensues is a little mayhem with Jeremy's grandmother thinking Jeremy and Fin is engaged after seeing a ring on Fin's hand that was given to her by Xander after he propose and Fin and Jeremy pretended to be engage to get his grandmother to have heart surgery. As with Kirk's Good hope series it brings the sense of family, having close friends and a town that truly looks out for one another. A wonderful addition to the series though the Bloom sisters have all found their happily ever after the series continues which is great for us fans. Reviews are on amazon and Goodreads.
I love this small town romance! Very sweet with lovable characters and a heartwarming romance - I really hope there is going to be more books in this series!
I have read the other books in this series. When I received an invitation from the publisher to read Forever in Good Hope and leave a review with my thoughts, I eagerly accepted. This is another great book for this series.
Fin is back in Good Hope and determined to change the town’s decision on allowing her brand-new fiancé to film there in December. The folks don’t want to give up their Christmas traditions even for one year.
Jeremy has always been in love with Fin, but when she comes to town, he only plans to offer his friendship. When his grandmother needs an important surgery to save her life, she refuses until she spies a ring on Fin’s finger and assumes they are engaged. She immediately agrees to the surgery.
As Fin and Jeremy enact their charade, both are drawn to each other. Fin starts remembering all the reasons why Good Hope is so important to her. When her fiancé tells her to do whatever it takes to get the town to vote in his favor, she has a huge decision before her.
Will she forsake her principles, or will she let her heart guide her?
I thoroughly enjoyed Forever in Good Hope. The plot is interesting and the cast of characters, old and new are delightful. The pacing is steady and the book is well-written with a good level of emotion.
Fin was a difficult character for me to like. She should have kicked her fiancé to the curb way sooner than she did. Fortunately, the love of a good and honorable man helped her see the error of her judgment.
Jeremy’s character is all I love in a book boyfriend from his blond good looks to his sincere love for his hometown and his grandmother. I loved his patience with Fin. Personally, if I’d been him, I would have given up, but alas, our hero does not and wins the only girl he’s ever loved. Yay! I really wanted his good nature and integrity to win out, and it did.
If you enjoy romances set in a small-town atmosphere with engaging characters and deep emotions, then you will want to check this one out. I’m enjoying this series, and I’m confident you will as well. Happy reading!
Cindy Kirk has once again delivered with Forever in Good Hope, the fourth book in her Good Hope series. Each book in the series is based upon one of the Bloom sisters, and this one tells the story about Fin (Delphinium).
Fin Bloom has finally landed her dream job as a development executive, and is working for a company in Los Angeles called Entertainment Quest. The company focuses on book-to-screen adaptations, and is currently looking for a location to shoot their upcoming film. Her boss and soon-to-be-fiance, Xander Tillman, has asked Fin to go with him to Good Hope, Wisconsin...which just happens to be Fin's hometown. Xander is hoping to get the mayor to approve the location shoot. Did I mention that Fin has a history with the mayor? Things do not go the way Xander hoped they would, and he persuades Fin to stay in Good Hope...hoping that she will convince people to change their minds and their votes.
Jeremy Rakes is the mayor of Good Hope, and he is also the person that cast the deciding vote against approving the location shoot. He knows Fin will not be happy about it, but he had to do what is best for the town. He could not let his feelings cloud his judgement. However, that is exactly what he ends up doing. His grandmother, Ruby, has suffered a heart attack and needs surgery...surgery that she keeps putting off. Ruby has always loved Fin, and when she notices Fin's engagement ring, she thinks that Jeremy has finally proposed to Fin. She is extremely happy, especially since she always felt they were meant to be together. This gives her a reason to finally have the surgery because she wants to be there for the big wedding. Jeremy doesn't have the heart to tell her that he's not the one engaged to Fin, and he convinces Fin to carry on with the fake engagement until Ruby has her surgery. As we all know, things seldom go as planned....
Fin and Jeremy's story has been briefly mentioned in each of the previous three books, and the author gave just enough information to keep the reader wanting more. Now that all has been revealed, I must admit it was definitely worth the wait! Their chemistry was just as obvious as their unresolved feelings for one another. Family plays an important role with both of the lead characters, which is why Fin agreed to the fake engagement in the first place...she loves Ruby as if she was part of her own family.
Overall, this is another great addition to the Good Hope series! Cindy Kirk perfectly captures the feel of Good Hope, as well as its residents. This is a story about family, lost love and second chances. Wonderful characters, a warm and inviting setting, and a perfectly balanced storyline (with a few added twists) make this a fabulous and heartwarming read. The one thing I love about this series is being able to revisit with the previous characters from the other books in the series. Each book can be read as a standalone, however, I strongly recommend reading the previous books so you can get the full story on all of these amazing characters.
I would like to thank Montlake Romance and NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read and review this book. My views are my own and are in no way influenced by anyone else.
