It was a fun heartwarming book of a jaguar shifter on his road to redemption, whether he deserves it or not.

Great read. Am sad to see this series come to an end...Maybe we will get lucky and get one more. Maybe get a Christmas reunion? Just to see what has happened to them all? Am crossing my fingers

A villain becoming a hero and love interest in a later book doesn’t always work, but NEW MOON manages to make its hero likeable without wiping the slate clean. Sebastian has done some truly terrible things, but redemption, and maybe true love, is well within reach.

This was the final book in the series, and it predictably suffered because of it; it felt overcrowded, both character- and plot-wise. The paranormal romance genre almost needs a new couple each book, but that meant a lot of people were involved in the final book. It was more than I could keep track of as the characters moved from pack to pack. There were also lots of plot threads to tie off, and although the end was satisfying, I was sometimes keen to get on with the story.

One little thing I really loved was the differences between wolf and jaguar shifters: knowing your mate as soon as you see them only happens to wolves. It takes some convincing for Sebastian to accept that fate may have thrown them together.

Certain phrases were used throughout the book and I wished the author had found different ways of saying that there were two sides to each story. A cool analogy loses its power when it’s mentioned by the narrator and the characters over and over again.

Overall, NEW MOON was a fitting end to the series. Not everything is peachy keen, but you wouldn’t expect it to be when things have been messed up for so long. But in the same way that Sebastian and Isabelle are able to look beyond the past and to the future, there is hope for the world of the book.

First off I want to thank the author for gifting me this ARC through the publisher. I am new to Shifter books but I enjoy the complete change of story. In shifter books Mates are very much a real and intense thing. I requested this book (initially not knowing it was book 8 in a series) so I could read it and then gush about it to my friend who is OBSESSED with shifter books. I read a few reviews which stated it could be read as a standalone.. and I felt the same way reading it. I couldn't get over the actual words and sentence structures. there wasn't a cohesive thing.

My wolf wanted him , shh I told my wolf
I want him dead, my wolf wants him
I could have killed him but my wolf thinks were mates
over and over again but her character is supposed to be this kickass wolf but internally shes a lost puppy. strong one minute and weak the next.

This is the first book in this this series.that I've read. Now I'm upset because I have to read the rest of them lol. I really liked this book and am interested in learning about the other folks in this story. I also had no issues reading this book before reading any of the others. It was very well done so that this story stood on its on. I was happy about that.

Not sure what Sebastian had done in prior books since I've not read them so I wasn't predisposed to dislike him. He seemed somewhat conflicted but in the end he not only chose sides he chose the right one. Any side that harms women and children is the wrong one in my opinion. My only regret was that he had to kill his father. Not that I regret he was killed because that man needed killing. I just regret that Sebastian had to be the one who did it

Isabelle was my type of heroine honest, strong, brave, and as my granny would say spunky. I believe this is the first time I've read a shifter book where a shifter found their mate by trying to kill them. I liked that she didn't let him leave her out even though he tried his level best to protect her She wasn't having it.

OK, so I kind of did things a little bit backwards with this series…I started with this story then went and grabbed one and two (the first is free on Amazon now, better get it now before it’s gone!). Yes, I know I messed up but that does not mean I can’t start from the beginning and read this all over again. This author is new to me and I just loved her writing style, this world, and her characters. I also feel, because the author did such a great job telling this story that it could be read as a standalone. I just finished reading the first book this morning and I am going to start the second one once I’m done here. The conflict with the wolves and the jaguar shifters is pretty heated in this story. I love the game Fate likes to play on these shifters.

Sebastian and Isabelle are the main characters in this story. Isabelle Wood is looking for answers, her father had gone missing years ago and she needs to find out why and all her leads point to Nero Org and Sebastian Severino the son to the CEO, Antonio Severino. All believe Sebastian is the ruthless murdering bastard he leads them to see, but deep down he’s not even sure which side of the chess board he should be playing on. Will Isabelle avenge her father by killing Sebastian? Is there more to Sebastian then what he leads us to think? If you like your shifters on the dominate side with heart then this is the book for you. You can’t go wrong with the action, the lies, the betrayal, and the wonderfully written hot sexy scenes. This was a great ending to a series but also left you some room for a spin-off.

Wow! What an awesome ending to this series! This book has everything I have come to expect from a Lisa Kessler story – heart, heat, and humor with some suspense and mystery – and not only wraps up the Moon series nicely, but also leaves room for a spin-off.

Throughout this series it’s been hard to decide how I felt about Sebastian. He’s not a nice man, or should I say Jaguar shifter, but knowing he’s the product of his father’s manipulations has always made me think twice before just wishing Adam would take him out. He’s helped the pack but he’s also hurt them. And I loved how the author has given Sebastian a shot at redemption.

Isabelle was the perfect match for Sebastian. She’s fierce and determined and not about to let Sebastian dictate the terms of their relationship – either professional or personal. She has to come to terms with the fact that he is her mate, which has posed all sorts of problems for Isabelle since she blames him for her father’s death and knows the evil that he is associated with.

With things coming to a head these two really didn’t have time for a proper romance. Sebastian is right in the middle of everything going down, so their relationship is formed in the trust that they need to have in each other for the upcoming battle – trust that is hard to give to someone who you have always seen as the enemy. So those moments when Isabelle and Sebastian connect are even more meaningful. Isabelle sees beyond the mask that Sebastian wears which makes him want more. Their romance was raw and rough, but also very intense since there’s a good chance that one or both of them might not come out of things alive.

I loved that previous characters were brought in and loved everything about Adam’s role in this book. He’s always been such an awesome alpha to the Reno pack and it was great to see him take charge and make decisions which seemed questionable but truly had the strength and security of the pack in mind. It was great seeing the Reno and Sedona packs come together and finally taking a stand against Nero.

Although this is the last book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone since the author does a good job filling in any necessary gaps. Of course for the best effect I would recommend starting at the beginning and getting to meet all the pack.

Well done, Lisa Kessler – and thank you for sharing your world with us. This has been one of my favorite series that I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves wolves and shifters.

Going into a series on the last book isn't generally advised, but I managed to follow Sebastion and Isabelle's story well, if |I had read other books in the series I do believe I would have felt more of connection to the other characthers.

Sebastion is a shifter and is the son of the baddie of the series, Sebastion is not the baddie he appears, he attempts to curb his dad's badness where he can.

Isabelle is Wolf shifter, something she chose.

Isabelle gets a shock when she touches Sebastion - she planned to hurt him a lot, but her wolf wouldn't let her as the she-wolf recognized its mate!

This book is a mixture of romance and action and I imagine if you've read the other books, stories are being tied up.

I enjoyed this book but do wish I had read in order just to get that extra bit out of the story.

Jaguar shifter Sebastian Severino is a loner. Having been his father’s assassin for years, he trusts nobody and nobody trusts him. Isabelle Wood is a wolf shifter and a bounty hunter. She’s determined to take down the evil organization that was responsible for her father’s death, starting with it’s crown prince. When her wolf claims him as her mate while her knife is at his throat, she can’t bring herself to kill him even as she denies what her wolf is telling her.
This is the final book in Lisa Kessler’s Moon series and I think it’s my favorite. I simply fell in love with Sebastian and Isabelle. They book had to go through so much to find family and love in the end, especially Sebastian. It makes me sad that this is the last of a great series. A great book. I highly recommend.

This one is one in the series I had been waiting for. Especially when it comes to the bad boys they will drill a place in the heart. But then with it also marks the end of the road for all of this one. He has been a fascination wanting more and more about him. Sebastian will meet what was told to him before and then it really already had you captured anyways. Besides his match also Isabelle will have met her match in more ways than one. Besides being compliments to each other I find that they are delicious for each other but of course they do have plenty that must be handled. The drama will not escape this one with you being pulled to the edge as the sacrifices are made. You are also on bated breath wanting all the right things with all the conclusions that fit. Another one has been delivered to us from this author that is hot,thrilling and fills our thirst for the best in bad boys.

Wow, it was hard to put this book down as the action was steady and very captivating! Sebastian and Isabelle make an unlikely couple so seeing them together, and working out their differences was very dramatic.

No one knew that Sebastian was walking a fine line to keep his father happy but also trying to steer things away from his father’s evil agenda. Just looking at Sebastian makes many of the wolf shifters want to kill him but Isabelle cannot as she realizes that he is her mate.

From that realization to the end of the book, there is non-stop action, drama, intrigue, and most importantly – romance! While this can be read as a stand-along book, I think that having read the previous books would be beneficial. I had not so there were times that I wanted to know more about some of the character (guess I need to read the other books!). There were also references to Sebastian’s previous relationships that were not explained until late in the book so I was a bit confused but it really did not take away from the story at all.

New Moon by Lisa Kessler has conflicted, multidimensional characters within an intricately woven plot that makes it a completely compelling read. Sebastian is a shifter of contradictions. The progression from bad to good is full of struggles, deceit and secrets that must be overcome. Isabelle has doubts of her own and a personal agenda. However, together these two make the pages sizzle during the search for the truth. Lots of twists and turns along with mercy as well as justice.

You might, and that is a big might, could read this book as a stand-alone, enjoying it but New Moon is full of characters that have a history over the last 7 books, so I urge you to begin at the beginning of this amazing series. Fans of the series are going to love New Moon.

Each now again you get that one run that one book, that you prefer not to state farewell to those dearest characters, to the experience. For me, New Moon was that book.
New Moon is the eighth and last story in the Moon Series, it can be perused as an independent. In any case, to get the full entertainment and due to the plot, I would encourage to begin the Moon Series from the earliest starting point.
You heard the idiom the wrongdoings of the father. Well in Sebastian case that platitude couldn't be more genuine; however, with one telephone call from his sister. His niece that he never met was taken and held prisoner by his dad. It was dependent upon Sebastian to save her and put a conclusion to his dad's rule of dread.
Lisa Kessler made a brilliant showing with regards to the closure of this series. It had various curve and turns, and poor Sebastian was so missed comprehended by such a variety of individuals.
My most loved piece of New Moon was not the collaboration between the two primary characters but rather when Sebastian was to at last meet his niece. That scene between them was touching to the point that I needed to put the book down to dry a few tears.
New Moon was fantastic perused through and through. Brimming with activity, sentiment and a few alpha men to kick the bucket for.
New Moon is surely one book that I can see myself rereading several more time during the summer.

I’ve been awaiting this novel with a mix of eager anticipation and dread as it is the concluding story in the Moon Series by Lisa Kessler and, whilst I wanted to know what happens, I also didn't want the series to actually end.

I’ve loved all the previous books and certainly also did this one, too, but that is also tinged with sadness as it feels like the end of an era and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed ‘catching up’ on the characters through this enthralling paranormal series and now there are unlikely to be any further updates! Having typed that, I have to say it was great to explore the whole saga through the eyes of jaguar shifter Sebastian Severino and so many puzzles were solved, especially regarding his relationship with his father and his role at Nero, as I read more of this novel. It is such a change to read the story from Sebastian’s point of view, especially as he now has the added dilemma of finding his mate to add to the components which make up his complicated life.

This is a thrilling conclusion to an enthralling series and, whilst sad at it now being concluded, this was a fitting finale with the perfect mix of angst, turmoil and romance that is usually found in novels by this talented author. Talk about drama - right from the start this story is packed with it! I’ll certainly be rereading the whole series again in the not too distant future and have no hesitation in highly recommending this book and the whole series to anyone who enjoys their mystery/suspense/thriller with a healthy dose of paranormal romance!

Isabelle Wood is the daughter of a former member of Nero and wants to know what the hell happened to her father. But when she decides to kill Sebastian she finds her wolf won't let her and realises that he is her mate! Talk about star crossed lovers.

This was a really tricky, twisty story and you're never quite sure who is on what side and for how long! Great characters and well paced story.

Jaguar shifter Sebastian Severino is an assassin for the Nero Organization owned by his father. He has, however over the years come to understand that what his father is doing is wrong. The only way he can see to put things right is by staying at the heart of it.
Wolf shifter Isabelle Wood is a P. I and a bounty hunter. Her target this time is more personal, it's the man who killed her father.
This is part of a series that should be read in order to understand fully what is happening and why.
Trust is the really big issue in this story. Our heroine finds out something she really didn't expect, and that throws everything she believes into a spin. Our hero knows he has done many evil things, but there is a line he will not cross.
A very exciting and action packed story that will have the pages flying past. I loved every page, a great way to round off the series.

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.
