I absolutely love this author. She knows how to write a great character that gets you hooked and pulls you along into his story and has you begging for more. I've wondered what type of guy would pull Alec out of his stuffy office persona and that type I have to agree with. Gaige was the perfect guy to shake up Alec's routine. Hopefully in the upcoming books we'll get to learn more about the other two Drummond brothers.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

Deliciously steamy, highly entertaining and action packed!

Dirty Deeds is the first book in the new "Dirty series," and once again Dimon has written a novel full of deception, mystery, danger, clandestine operations, seduction, hotter-than-sin sex scenes, dirty banter, and romance.

The writing is fluid and smooth. The plot is fascinating, suspenseful, and sultry. And the characters are powerful, sexy, strong, and confident.

I have to say Dirty Deeds is a fun, enjoyable read with lots of energy, excitement, intrigue, heat, heartthrobs, great supporting characters and of course the happy-ever-after ending we all love. And it has certainly left me eagerly awaiting the next novel in the series, Dirty Games, Finn and Justin's story which is due out in Spring 2018.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House - Loveswept for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

AMAZING READ!! From the first chapter you are pulled into the story and you want more. I needed to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next. Dirty Deeds by HelenKay Dimon is a great book, with a good plot, plenty of suspense and smexiness, and everything else thrown in. The book was well written, the characters completely developed, and there were enough twists that made it different from other similar books I've read.

This book is a must read. If you like suspense, espionage, and steamy mm romance, then you need to one click this book today! 5 stars. I couldn't put it down. In fact, I can't wait for the next book in the series. I absolutely loved it.

Dirty Deeds is the first in a new series by Helenkay Dimon that you should definitely add to the TBR. It's a spin-off of the Tough Love Series and we get to see Seth from Guarding Mr. Fine being his usual charming *ahem* self. Alec was introduced in Mr. Fine as the mysterious businessman, sometimes CIA consultant, and Rick's ex. In Dirty Deeds, Alex is still the mysterious billionaire businessman, but now he's being forced into another CIA mess to try to clear his name.

Gaige is similarly being used and blackmailed by Seth to assist in the same investigation. Gaige is a tech genius who came under Seth's thumb when his ex framed him for espionage - working with the CIA is better than prison. Gaige breaks in to Alec's company and their computer systems, Seth manipulates them in to working together. Alec and Gaige inevitably grow closer while investigating. As things get more dangerous, the men have to deal with the threat to their lives and figure out whether they can trust one another.

Helenkay Dimon is a master at romantic suspense, and as she proved in the Tough Love Series, that translates just as well to m/m romantic suspense. Dirty Deeds does not disappoint. Mystery, intrigue, hot sex, and stubborn men falling in love. Add Dirty Deeds to your reading list and we can anxiously await Dirty Games together!

4.25 stars--DIRTY DEEDS is the first installment in HelenKay Dimon’s contemporary, adult THE DIRTY erotic, M/M romantic suspense series-a spin off from her TOUGH LOVE series. This is former CIA operative Gaige Owens, and billionaire businessman Alex Drummond’s story line. DIRTY DEEDS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty-any important information from the previous series is revealed where necessary. Alec was first introduced in Guarding Mr. Fine (Tough Love #3)

NOT: DIRTY DEEDS contains graphic scenes of M/M sexual situations, intended for mature readers only.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Gaige and Alec) DIRTY DEEDS follows the search for the truth. Gaige Owens finds himself ‘tied’ to the CIA, and repaying his debt comes with a dangerous mission to Germany, and the man with whom he would fall in love. Enter Alec Drummond, billionaire businessman and civilian security specialist with high ranking government contacts, whose off hour business shipments to Svalbard, the ‘Doomsday Vault’ in Norway, have caught the attention of the CIA. What ensues is the building relationship between Gaige and Alec, and the struggle to uncover the who, what and why behind the ‘mysterious’ cargo entering the secret vaults meant to preserve the world’s food supplies.

Gaige Owens is an IT specialist but his latest ‘assignment’ has him coming face to face with a man who wants nothing to do with Gaige or the reasons behind the CIA’s involvement. Gaige is working undercover at Drummond Industries, and Alec has a difficult time trusting the man with whom he will fall in love. Both burned in the past by people they once loved Gaige and Alec’s attraction to one another is both palpable and immediate. But someone is desperate to keep Gaige and Alec from uncovering the truth-our couple are targeted at home and at work. The $ex scenes are numerous, intimate and erotic. Alec battles both his heart and his head knowing there is an end date when the mission is complete.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Alec’s second in command Tony, as well as Tony’s girlfriend, former military personnel Caroline; Alex’s PA Pam Masters (Caroline’s sister); CIA Special Activities Division Agent (SAD) Seth Lang (Guarding Mr. Fine#3); Doomsday vault head of security Daniel Berg, and supervisor Astrid Larsen.

The world building continues to focus on the secret military operations, and Black Ops missions; the people, the places, and the threats to world safety and security, and the men whose mission it is to go undercover-in more ways than one.

DIRTY DEEDS is an intriguing and suspense filled story line focusing on the potential destruction of the world’s food supply. The premise is original, engaging and entertaining; the characters are colorful, edgy and animated; the romance is seductive and intense. DIRTY DEEDS is a sensual and passionate story of two men thrown together in the face of impending disaster.

Great storyline with well defined characters that kept me hooked from page one until the turn of the very last page!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I started reading HelenKay Dimon books about a year ago and I must say I am thoroughly enjoying her characters and the world she creates for them. When I stumbled upon Dirty Deeds , I immediately pounced on it. The blurb completely sucked me in. Alec and Gaige are my kinda MC’s. Two headstrong men determined to do things on their own terms? You bet the fireworks are gonna fly. I made myself a nice refreshing glass of rum punch and settled in for what I prayed would be a fun read.

My prayer was mostly answered.

It took me a minute to warm up to Gaige and Alec . Both men allowed their sexual attraction to overrule their common sense. Alec suspects Gaige of leaking company secrets but Alec doesn’t allow that to stand in the way of getting Gaige into bed. Gaige has the curiosity of a cat and the sex drive of a horny teen which works for Alec, who supposedly likes his sex rough and kinky. Here in lays is the first big let down. The sex is great but it’s a bit bland and boring. Not at all what I thought Alec capable of. The second issue that had me kinda pull back from this book a little is the appearance of Seth, one of my favorite MC’s from the Tough Love series ( Dirty Deeds is a spinoff from that.). I loved Seth in his own book Guarding Mr. Fine but GOD!! I WANTED TO KILL HIM IN THIS BOOK! *deep breath* I won’t bother to mince words here, Seth was not just an asshole he was a WHOLE ASS! I started to actually dislike him because his manipulations were so sleazy and such a turn-off. That was a side of Seth I never thought existed and to see that kinda ugly from him was a bit jarring.

Nonetheless, I plowed through and I’m so happy I did. I found myself warming up a bit the more to Alec and Gaige once they both started to be vocally open and honest. Being privy to both Gaige and Alec’s inner monologue made it easy for me to deal with their insta horny. This book surprised me in ways I didn’t expect. It opened my eyes to the fact that I shouldn’t presume to know characters inside and out ( which I tend to assume once I've read their story in a series). People wear many masks and some modify their behaviors depending on their environment. I’m looking forward to more from Dimon. There is so much more to her characters than meets the eye and I can’t wait to see what other surprises she has up her sleeve in regards to this new series.

This is the first book in The Dirty Series. It is a M/M romantic suspense involving the Global Seed Bank. It was a subject I knew nothing about prior to reading this book and I was thoroughly engrossed in the topic. It made for a great suspense element for the story. I fell in love with the characters from the beginning of the story and got a chance to see a character from one of her previous books. It was the perfect combination of romance and suspense.

I had a hard time getting into the book. I found the first few chapters chaotic hard to follow.
That didn't last long and I was soon immersed in a world of spies and whose after Alex and Gaige.

They had chemistry from the beginning but couldn't explore it as they had a hard time trusting one another.

Once they realized they were on the same team the sparks and the story between them began to unfold. It was a fast paced enjoyable read.

I received an ARC for a honest review

I'm so glad HKD decided to do a spin-off. I was excited to have Alec's story from the moment he was introduced. Alec was one of those mysterious characters that you just needed to know more about and Dirty Deeds did not disappoint. Alec is the type of man that really trusts no one, until Gaige, although their chemistry is off the charts both men fought their past demons to get to a point where they needed to be. Dirty Deeds is full of twists and turns as well as smoking hot times between these two men.
This is one of my top series reads of the summer and Dirty Deeds was just icing on the cake! A definite must read!

3.5 Stars. Dirty Deeds is the first book in the Dirty series and a spinoff from the Tough Love series but can easily be read as a stand alone book. This book centers around Alec who is a billionaire who runs a company that does something with food (honestly I'm not exactly sure what but in the big scheme of things that didn't matter all that much). He is the ex-boyfriend of one of the characters from the Tough Love series. Seth who is also a character from that book is in this one but he is kind of a jerk and we never really find out if he has decent motives or not. I really didn't like that he wasn't such a jerk in this book since I had liked him in the previous book.

So in this book, Gaige who is a computer genius is being blackmailed by Seth into working/spying on Alec and helping him discover some anomalies with a top secret vault that stores seeds in case of an emergency/doomsday scenario (the leak is supposedly from Alec's company). The part I really didn't understand was why Seth was blackmailing Gaige and wouldn't give either Gaige or Alec much information and why he wanted Gaige to spy on Alec in addition to working with him. In fact, he brings the two men together by having Gaige break into Alec's business. Obviously, this means that there is a lot of distrust between Gaige and Alec. Because of the distrust Alec decides he needs to keep Gaige next to him at all times and basically makes him live with him when they aren't at work. (I found this very contrived and wish the scenario was a bit more believable).

So if I put aside the reason these two men are forced together I really enjoyed it. There is an immediate attraction between the two men and it isn't long before they are acting on it. The sex between the two was hot and I liked them together. I found Gaige a really interesting character and I liked that although he was kind of a geek he was also really sexy and saved Alec's life more than once. The second half of this book was intense and fast paced and honestly I didn't see the villain coming.

So while there were some plot issues I really liked the characters, the writing, the sex scenes, and the action-packed second half of the book.

One of the best books I've ever read! Alec and Gaige are spectacular together. I love their banter! Their characters and the story line are very well written and developed!

3.5 stars- Slow start, fast finish

The first series I read of Miss Dimon’s happened to be the one Dirty Deeds is a spin-off from, so I was excited to see this book featured a favorite secondary character of mine and jumped at the chance to read an ARC. While I met Alec Drummond and learned about his connection to CIA agent Seth Lang in Guarding Mr. Fine, it certainly wasn’t necessary to have read that title or the Tough Love series before Dirty Deeds. The nice thing about this author’s works is even though there are often connections between books and occasionally series, they easily work as standalones and you can jump right into the action without missing a beat.

Dirty Deeds was one of those books that started off slower than it ended. I already liked grumpy, billionaire business mogul Alec. Of course I also liked learning more about him and his history and was intrigued with the idea of him matched to the crazy smart computer hacker Gaige. Gaige was a great character, quirky but brilliant…and fun! I thought he balanced Alec’s seriousness perfectly. Unfortunately, their chemistry didn’t come through right away and the storyline failed to immediately grab my attention. While the spark was present in their initial meeting, the connection lacked substance and didn’t really ignite much beyond some lust-fueled scenes. What I did like was the mystery of the falsified communications and delayed shipments. And, as Gaige and Alec worked to unravel those issues, I finally got to see the tension and bond between the men grow. Once the pace of the plot and romance picked up, so did my interest in the book. Although I figured out the villain fairly early, I enjoyed the intensity and action scenes a lot and appreciated how the relationship shifted as a result.

Writing wise, Dirty Deeds was solid and flowed well. The dialogue fit the characters and there were some good moments of banter between Alec and Gaige. While this certainly wasn’t the most intense or suspense driven romance I’ve read, I did enjoy it enough to continue the series. If you’re looking for less angsty romance with heat and a dose of action, Dirty Deeds is a good choice.

After reading and enjoying the third book in the Tough Love series, I was more than a bit excited that Alec Drummond (actually I think all three Drummond brothers are getting books) would be one of the heroes in a spin-off series. Alec is Rick’s ex from Guarding Mr. Fine, and also some kind of food/grain/seed supplier billionaire. I’m not totally sure what he does exactly, just that his company is a big player on the international food supply scene and has lots of backdoor hook ups with all the alphabet spy agencies around the world. He’s mega important and a workaholic with control issues.

Gaige Owens has been sent in by Seth Lang and the CIA to infiltrate Alec’s systems and find out what is going on with mysterious shipments being sent to the Doomsday Vault off schedule. Oh, he’s not going in all secretive, Seth pretty much sets him up to get caught and then informs Alec that Gaige is going to be stuck to him like glue until they can figure out what is going on, he just doesn’t give them the whole story. Which means it’s up to Alec and Gaige to find out who is setting Alec up and why.

Gaige the hacker and Alec the billionaire control freak are stuck together against their will at first. Alec doesn’t do relationships and Gaige is still getting over the complete betrayal of his boyfriend/business partner. BUT, they are up for some smokin’ hot, dirty, sexy loving. They move from distrust and suspicion to cuddly lovers pretty quickly, not that I’m complaining…. For a man who doesn’t do relationships Alec falls for the studly computer hacker faster than I expected.  From the way the book started out I kind of expected them to grump and growl at each other longer than they did. I didn’t immediately connect to these characters, but I enjoyed them together and thought they suited each other well. Not too much drama, and just the right amount of sexy times.

I will admit to be slightly confused over the seed storage thing and what Alec does exactly. I also wasn’t sure what the big deal was about off schedule deliveries to the big seed bank. Actually, I didn’t even know seed banks were a thing. I ended up finding that part to be quite interesting the more I learned and by the end and the big showdown it all finally hit me with a big AHA moment about why it was so important.

From what I understand Finn Drummond is up next and I have major grabby hands for his book. I WANT. Dirty Games, releases the week of my birthday in March next year so I’m sure I’ll nabbing that as a present for myself. In the mean time, if you are looking for a fast, sexy, suspenseful read be sure to add Dirty Deeds to your TBR pile. Final Grade- B-

This is an offshoot of a previous series featuring CIA operatives. We met Alec is previous books, but didn't know him terribly well. In Dirty Deeds, Seth (our CIA operative) forces Alec and Gaige to work together leading to unanticipated results.
This was an entertaining story, but I didn't feel like it was the author's strongest effort.
The suspense element of the story was strong and had an edge of the seat element, not to mention a bad guy I wouldn't have expected. But, I struggled to fully buy into the romantic storyline. Gaige and Alec's attraction to each other was believable, but Alec's 180 degree evolution was a little too much.
The Alec we met at the beginning of the book was a standoffish jerk. While I expected his attraction and relationship with Gaige to soften Alec somewhat, things had almost gone too far at the end of the book.
The other thing that had me struggling a little bit is that even though this is a different series, Dirty Deeds was just a little too much like the set of books that came before. The formula works, but I would have enjoyed seeing things a little more "mixed up."
Overall, I enjoyed the book and liked Alec and Gaige together. I'm also curious to see what comes next in the series.

A good read with solid characters and a curious storyline.
Fast paced and easy to read with steamy scenes littered throughout.

The least favorite book in the series thus far. I would like to see more characters development. Hope to see more of them if there are going to be future books.

HelenKay Dimon has a writing style that quickly pulls a reader in and that, combined with the opening scene in Dirty Deeds, caught my attention and had my gears turning long before the romance began. Both Gaige and Alec have their secrets and determined to keep them, so naturally, they divulge things, little by little, in their intimate moments. The pair is good together and they have great chemistry, even when they're tiptoeing around each other.
Between spies, possible espionage, attacks, break-ins, and the steam generated by our main characters, there's plenty going on, but the story did still lag a bit at times. Fortunately, the suspense, intrigue, and twists kept me plunging ahead for the next bit of action.
Overall, Dirty Deeds is well-written, interesting, and entertaining. It is steamy and those scenes are pretty hot, but it's about so much more than that. There's a lot of story here and well worth the read.

I enjoyed Dirty Deeds, although it did get off to a slow start. Especially during the first half of the story. But the second half really picked up and grabbed my attention much more. Even though there wasn't as much suspense as I was anticipating. There was still enough to keep me intrigued until the very end and I literally had no idea who was behind everything until it was revealed. Also those couple of chapters where everything went down had me on the edge of my seat and were extremely enjoyable to read. And I would happily recommend Dirty Deeds to others. Especially if you are a fan of this author or the Tough Love Series. Which this is a spin off from.

A new spin off from the Tough Love series has Seth leading an undercover operation involving a secretive seed vault. Sort of like a Doomsday bank for all the different plant sends that will feed the world after the big event. The idea behind this story is unique and I found the idea fascinating. Compared to the other M/M series this was a bit slower but eventually kicked up about 2/3 in the book. The sex is intense, remember it is M/M, and the suspense top notch. Not necessary to have read the other series, this stands alone. I received my copy from Netgalley and have written my review voluntarily.
