The chapter excerpt plunges straight into the action, giving a taste of intrigue, humour and excitement. Definitely left me wanting to read more!

This taste of the beginning has me starving for the rest!

Shelly Laurenstons new novel Hot and Badgered doesn’t come out until March 27th, but when offered the chance to read a chapter in advance of the release, I just couldn’t pass it up! I zipped through this chapter, once again loving the humor, dialog, and action. Her novels are unlike any other shifter novels.

Please be aware this review covers the first chapter. I had the pleasure of reading the first chapter of Shelly Laurenston new book Hot and Badgered the first book in a new series The Honey Badgers. Well, readers come March 27, 2018, you would want to put this book on your calendar as one book you don't want to miss.

Since the first chapter is only 11 pages long, it showed that Hot and Badgered is set up to be a romantic hot and funny read with tons of action. And by the time the story is over we all are going to need a doctor because we're seriously going to need stitches.

I'm not sure how to review this. It was only a few pages. I am looking forward to the actual book. (I guess this will teach me not to read the entire description on Netgalley.)

Well it was definitely an interesting read that pulled me in but now I need to go read the rest of it. Definitely shows how great a writer she is that the chapter excerpt hooks me enough to go get it.

Awesome first chapter, it had me captivated by it from the start. I need the rest of this book as soon as possible. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Honestly, I didn't realize this was just a first chapter in the book when I got it from Netgalley. I will say that it caught my attention and left me wanting to read more. It has all of Shelly Laurenston's trademark humor and crazy characters (but new ones). I found myself smiling and looking forward to the adventure of Charlie and Berg. I'm looking forward to the release date for this book so I can read more!

There is not review for just one chapter, I am not sure why you would send out 1 chapter of a book to a bunch of reviewers and expect anything but scorn, there is nothing to review

I really liked the taster of this book but was disappointed it was just a taster. Definitely seems like something worth reading though, so may look into it. However, I will not be reviewing the chapter as it isn't enough to judge the entire book on and I am not going to post an incomplete review.

Hot and Badgered by Shelly Laurenston is only a chapter excerpt. What I read really makes me very excited to read the rest of the book. Lots of action in this book you can just feel it in the pages given. Can’t wait for the rest of the book and anything by this great author!

I regret requesting this book from Net Galley because it was only a sneak preview & now I have to wait until next March to read the rest of it. Just reading this snippet was a treat, I'm sure the rest of the book will not disappoint.

This was diabolical of the publishers and netgalley to only give us a sneak peak and make us wait until the next year for the complete book.! No author makes me laugh louder than the queen of snarky humor, Shelly Laurenston. We get a great glimpse in HOT AND BADGERED as she returns to her shifter world, this time with a grizzly and some honey badgers. This quick and fun glimpse left me wanting more!!!

NetGalley has a sneak preview of this book and I want it ASAP! I call that talent when an author can grab you in the first chapter and have you begging for more. Shelly Laurenston has the best romcom paranormal stories. I can't wait!

As this was a sneak peak, I will not be reviewing it. I will, however, be buying it :)

I've never read Shelly Laurenston before, but since a couple of friends with similar tastes in PNR love her, I jumped at the chance to read the first chapter of Hot and Badgered. I'm kind of sorry I did, because now I really want to read this book ASAP. In a short space of time there's action, humor, and several intriguing characters. My interest is definitely piqued and I've got loads of questions. I can't wait to read more!

It ok for the first chapter. That's all I can say, I actually thought this was the whole book.
