Sneak Peak was good but very unsatisfying. Had I read publishers note I never would have started this book. I'll need to make note that I've only read one chapter otherwise I'll put book aside for something I haven't yet read. I do re-read books, however it is a concsious decision dependent upon my mood. I'd recommend reading all S. Lauenston/ G.A. Aiken books just not sneak peaks as it confuses issue when entire book is released as to if I've already read for this reason I'm giving 2 stars based on incomplete. Despite getting arcs I buy actual books when they come out as I am a collector & I do re-read.

Great start and love that the heroine is a honey badger. I'm sure it will be hilarious and well written.

This was a fun preview and left me wanting to read more. The story moves fast but I'm used to that from Shelly's Crow series. I haven't read her Pride series, which I believe this new book is a spinoff from. I am interested in reading more of the Pride books now. Sometimes, the hopping viewpoints can be jarring, until you get used to the rhythm of the prose.

I wish the preview had shown more of the heroine and her sisters instead of the hero though. Shelly does very interesting female friendships and I love that theme in the Crow series. But the brief glimpse we got of the honey badger shifter sisters did leave me wanting to know more about them.

This looks to be another fun, fast-paced, violently bonkers read. I'm all in!

Holy crap! I didn't see the disclaimer that it was only the first chapter! I loved this. It was different from the other books in the series. A little James Bondesque with tons of action. I want more!

Bad me didn't see the reference that this was the first chapter sneak peek. Needless to say I am very much desirous of the rest! This chapter is hinting at another fun read by Shelley Laurenston!

Ok I'm hooked, now what..... I need to read the rest. I was so into this 1st chapter that I completely forgot that's all I had....

Just reading the first chapter preview I can already tell this is going to be a fun / chaotic read just like Laurenston's Call of Crows series which I enjoyed immensely. I'm excited to learn more about the relationship between sisters Charlie and Maxie (and I suppose the third mysterious sister as well). Overall, this is another book to add to my highly anticipated reading list for 2018.

One of the reasons I always read a Shelly Laurenston book is that there will be action, laugh out loud scenes, as well as some hot romance. This first chapter doesn't disappoint. Can't wait to read the full book.

I didn't realize that this was only the first chapter of Hot and Badgered when I first requested it because I didn't really bother to read the synopsis as I love Shelly Laurenston and if she writes a book, I can pretty much guarantee I'm going to want to read it. And while of course, I would have loved to have the whole book, I loved getting a sneak peek and I loved the first chapter of Hot and Badgered. It was exciting, funny, full of action, and I can't wait to read the rest!

As usual Ms Laurenston gives a great start to the story! I was only on the second page and plenty of action and I was already laughing!

I've gotta say I was amazed to get this book so early from NetGalley, but then realising it was only the first chapter explained a lot.

While I won't deny my disappointment that this wasn't an entire book, what I did read only cemented my love of Ms Laurenston's work and her ability to write fabulous shifter stories. I'll be looking forward to reading the completed book and have absolutely no doubt it will be amazing!

SNEAK PREVIEW
If this is chapter 1, I can't wait to read the rest of the book. If you have read a Laurenston book before you know to expect strong characters and fun storylines. If you have never read her before, you are in for a treat. There was plenty of fun and action in just this one chapter. Fun dialogue and strong characters in all her books.

The first chapter of Shelly Laurenston's new book look great, but it's tough to judge an entire book on one chapter! I swore something was wrong with my Kindle for the longest time because I couldn't see the whole book. Good to know it wasn't just me.

My review will be updated as when I requested this book I didn’t realise it was only the first chapter. In saying that I loved it and it has only left me anxious to read more. Readers of the Magnus Pack & the Pride series will love this book. Fabulous so far!

I love this author! She continues to write books that are very funny and so enjoyable to read. I loved the pairing of Charlie and Berg. They are wonderful together!

I can't wait to read the full story! This looks like a great start to her new series. Of course I always find her funny so anything she writes I enjoy!

Was able to read the first chapter courtesy of Netgalley and OMG I don't know how I'm expected to wait until 2018.
I can always expect cooky characters, realistic action and lots of humor in a Shelly Laurenston. I can already tell with this snippet that this book will be no different. I'm glad that Berg will finally have his story told and I'm glad to see we'll get another visit by the Jean Louis Parker clan.

No review. I don't review partial books or 'sneak peeks.'

This definitely looks interesting and I'd like to read more, but there's not enough in just one chapter to write a full review or even rate the book itself.

Thank you for letting me read this much, at least.
