As an introduction to this author, this story was a jewel...I see promise in the series as it continues. Overall I enjoyed the story, its premise and the characters. I did have a hard time connecting with Noah though. He didn't click for me, but what I have as my preferences for male characters was not what I saw in him. I would like to read more of the series as it is introduced, I'd like to see where the author takes the remaining characters.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
Cute. Simple. Predictable but sweet.
The Skinny is this:
Noah Hart (bf) has a sister Ginny Hart and she is co-owner of the tea shop and BFF with Emma
Emma Stevenson (gf) and has a brother Patrick Stevenson
Carol Murphy co=owner of the tea shop and bff with Emma and her brother is Brother Ryan
I believe the next story will either be Ryan and Ginny or Patrick and Carol. We will see.
I'm usually a big fan of Noelle's books but this one was just ok for me. I had a hard time liking Noah's character. His father leaving them as kids has affected him to the point that he never comes home and has no ties. He's driven and successful, but doesn't commit. His reluctance to pursue Emma and his constant flaking on her kept me from truly loving this story. This is more a personal preference since I prefer a Hero that goes after the woman he wants. This still has the great writing that Noelle Adams is known for. ARC provided by NetGalley.
I loved this book so much because the characters were relatable, funny and I found myself agreeing with them multiple times through each chapter. I would love to read more about this author as well as read more from this series.
The reason I liked Noah and Emma's story so much was the emotional roller coaster ride that it took me on as a reader. The fact that Emma had sworn off men but was still so flirty with Noah, That even though she didn't want anything to do with Noah, her teen crush, because he had become so much a hardened business man, but couldn't help herself. The sweetness she and their story still exhibited.

A cute, sweet afternoon read. You know where it’s going and that each of the siblings are going to end up with one the brothers. All in all, a nice read with a bit of drama and angst thrown in.
This story is about Emma and Noah. Noah is back in town for the first time since his mother's funeral and only because his sister guilted him into coming home for the launch of her new tea room. Emma had a crush on Noah during their high school years and now that he's back, the old familiar feelings are back as well.
A lot of unresolved childhood issues face Noah in his quest to find happiness for the man he is today and a lot of the resolution takes place off the page.
I'm interested in reading the other two books of this series.

Noah left and never really looked back. He wanted to make himself a success and has done great in his business life. However, his personal life is filled with one-night stands and lacks any type of emotional connection. When he does finally get guilt tripped into coming home by his sister, he walks right in to Emma's web.
Emma has grown up to be a wonderful, intelligent woman... except when it comes to Noah. All through their younger years, Emma held a special torch for Noah. One that she was sure he knew about, but she was rebuffed and never truly recovered. When she sees him again, she is determined to not let him in again.
The best plans go haywire and both Noah and Emma have to decide if this chance is the chance to truly find happiness. Can they both stop running?
This was a predictable story and one that I enjoyed for an afternoon read. The other characters in the story were funny and I hope they all wind up with someone.

This is the first in a series, and sets up the relationships between the three friends and their sisters. In this installment, Emma has to deal with her childhood crush, Noah, returning to town.
Not only is Emma best friends with his sister, Ginny, but she has done the business plans for the new tea shop too, so she certainly can't stay away from him. Her recently imposed Manfast is very badly timed, but surely some rules are made to be broken.
Noah is a man who is on a mission – stay away from commitment so that he cannot repeat his father's disappearing act. His self-imposed exile has not made him happy, but he can't seem to break out of the cycle.
We are treated to some funny moments between the friends, some sexy ones between Noah and Emma, and some deep ones when Noah finally sees his father again. But best of all, we get hopefulness and the promise of a lasting romance between the two leads.
An easy read, with a sweet story and some great side characters who will feature in future books, I am sure.
Easily relatable, this story takes the typical falling for your friend's brother story and builds on it with well-written characters. The story flows easily and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quick read with some depth.
Noelle Adams brought us a book that tugged at my emotions. Played havoc on my heart and made me want to drive to Blacksburg to shake someone.
I loved Emma's character. She is easy to bind with right from the first pages. She is a giver, always putting those she cares for first. Finally she realizes that she is worth so much more and thinks a break from men will do the trick. Enter her childhood crush Noah. Who never gave her the time of day and calls he purge. The cute banter between them shows more and when the sparks fly an amazing story unfolds.
Yet Noah is a runner. Running from his past, her family and his future. Never staying in one place for toour long. But will Emma and his family be enough or will he run again when the chance comes?
Sweet, sexy tale. Three guy friends, three sisters of said friends. I hope they are all like this!
Falling for her Brother's Best Friend was a quick, fun read. The first book in a new series and I'm keen to find out how things go for the other girls and guys.
Noelle Adams gave us believable characters and fairly realistic concerns for both lead characters not wanting to get into a relationship and overall I really enjoyed the story. My only issue was with Noah and his yo-yo'ing thoughts and emotions, gods, the guy sent out so many mixed signals that if I'd been Emma I'd have thrown him to the curb and written him off.... but, luckily for her brother's best friend, her patience and capacity to forgive were way better than mine!
Looking forward to the next book in the Tea for Two series. I'm rating this read 3.75*
Emma announces to her friends that she is going to go on a man-fast, no men, no dating. Nothing for at least six months since she can’t seem to help falling for the jerks that end up breaking her heart. Emma decided she will focus on herself, her career, helping her friends open their new business and stay away from the heartache.
That is until Emma finds out that Noah is returning to town. Noah was always Emma’s crush growing up although he barely new she existed being the little sister of one of Noah’s friends. Now however Emma is all grown up and no longer the chubby little sister that Noah remembers so much so that as soon as he arrives he makes a pass at Emma not recognizing her.
Falling for Her Brother’s Best Friend is the first book in a new romance series, Tea for Two, by Noelle Adams. The main characters in the series were all brothers/sisters that had grown up together and become best friends but now the older brothers are finding there are more to their friends annoying younger sisters than they ever noticed in the past.
For the most part I enjoyed this lovely little romance read focused on a second chance at love. There were a few little details here and there I probably would have done a little differently myself by overall it was a feel good story and fun read. Noah was a bit swoon worthy with his love for his Nan and little sister in the story so that is always a plus having a family orientated lead. I’d definitely be interested in seeing the story continue with the other couples.
I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley.
Great book! LookING forward to reading more by this author!
I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It is a heartfelt story. I enjoyed the relationship between all the friends. The dynamic between the friends is endearing. I felt like one of the group while I reading this story. The relationship between Emma and Noah was intense and heartwarming. This book was a fun read. I loved all the characters. I can't wait to read the second book in this series. I would recommend this book to my friends.
Emma is always dating jerks, and she has had enough. For once in her life, she is going to find the right guy. First things first, she is going on a man-fast... that means six months without a date or hook-up. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong! When Emma finds out her long-time crush, her brother's best friend, Noah Hart, is in town, her plans go to the way-side.
Noah makes a huge mistake by not recognizing Emma right away. When her brother shows up, Noah is floored. No way could the little hottie at the bar be the little girl he used to know. A lot has changed since he's been gone. Noah finds himself running into Emma at every turn. The attraction between them is undeniable. Can he risk everything for her? Find out in FALLING FOR HER BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND.
This novel is right up my alley! I love the concept. There's nothing like a good old-fashioned crush on your brother's best bud. I can most definitely relate to Emma as I have had some of these experiences myself. And good for her, she finally gets a chance to go after the guy she's always wanted, Noah. I really enjoyed FALLING FOR HER BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND and cannot wait to read book two in author Noelle Adams' wildly entertaining TEA FOR TWO series.
Not my type of book. It wasn't a clean read that I prefer.
The amount of connections is a little overwhelming, so I'm thankful that Ms. Adams placed a cheat sheet in the beginning! Overall, however, a delightful read. Perhaps a little rushed in the pacing of the HEA, but I'll allow it due to the meddling siblings. Charming for sure.
This is a perfect, sweet little romance!
Emma has decided to go on a man-fast considering that all of her past relationships have shown her to make poor decisions in that regard. And she means it. Absolutely. That is until her brother’s best friend and her childhood crush returns to town.
Noah hasn’t been home in seven years. He’s not the settling down kind and he never will be. That is until he runs into Emma who stirs feelings in him he doesn’t understand. Unfortunately, despite the hot chemistry between the two of them, he can’t change his nature. He’s a runner, and someone will eventually get hurt.
I loved this book with its fun character of friends and family. Emma is a sweet friend and sister and she struggles to deny her feelings for Noah in order to protect herself. I’m not going to share what the root of Noah’s problem is but I totally understood it and the reason he is unable to let it go. Despite his reasons, he feels strongly toward Emma and wants to be a better man for her, for his sister, for his grandmother.
This is a quick read that was never bogged down by unnecessary dialogue or internal contemplation. The epilogue is just a quick peek a month into the future but I suspect we will see more of this couple as the following friends and brothers stories are presented. I will definitely be checking them out when released.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the Author for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I’m going to rate this one a 3.5 just because I couldn’t connect with the two main characters at all. I liked them separately, Emma more than Noah but together just didn’t do it for me.
The book starts out with Emma going on a man-fast for six months because of her history with choosing the wrong man. So once you say you will stop dating, we all know what happens!! In comes Noah back into her life after 9 years. He doesn’t remember her and hits on her at an airport bar. This is pretty humiliating for them both.
I loved the premise of this story. Three sets of siblings, all good friends who grow up together in a small town. Of course I see them all falling for each other. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to read it because of the name but it was perfectly fine once I got into the book. Not scandalous at all.
So to wrap this up…. My connection to them as a couple was lacking. Heat index between the two was pretty scorching. A little bit of drama, mainly Noah and his back and forth on if he could ever commit. Easy, fast read. Kind of perfect for a summer read at the beach. This does end in an HEA. One thing I appreciated was that in the beginning the author gave us a little who is who so that we weren’t confused with so many characters in the book,
Just because I rated it low does not mean I would read more from this author. I have read her work in the past and totally liked it. I’d also like to see what develops between the two remaining couples in this series.
A sweet romantic book
Loved it
Love Noelle Adams. She's definitely my one click gonto author
I just didn't feel the love for this one, but I'm on a bit of a downer recently with books.
This was trademark Noelle Adams: small town; slightly naive woman; wealthy successful man; interfering friends; and an elderly relative with a penchant for quoting the bible.
This is a new series set in a small town where three women grew up together as BFFs because their brothers were best friends. Now they are adults and two of them are setting up a tea shop called Tea for Two, the third woman, Emma, is an accountant who does the books for the tea shop and drew up the business plan. Ever since she was a child she had a crush on her friend Ginny's brother Noah, even now, when he has been away travelling the world as a successful businessman for the last nine years she still holds a bit of a torch. Emma is just a typical Noelle Adams heroine, despite co-owning a successful business with her brother and being a qualified professional she is still a little shy, a little inexperienced etc. She has a history of falling for bad boys and losers who break her heart so she has decided to have a man-free period of six months, a Man-Fast. Of course, no sooner does she make this declaration to her friends when Noah returns to town to see his grandmother.
My first impressions of Noah were not good. He doesn't recognise the grown-up Emma and his internal monologue made him sound like a chauvinist pig. However, that doesn't seem to be typical because that attitude towards women isn't repeated, or is it because he has a bit of a Madonna or Whore complex with women and Emma, his sister and their friend all automatically get put into the Madonna box?
Noah's sister Ginny is the usual know-all BFF/ sister who interferes at every juncture - if she was my friend I'd tell her to eff-off.
Noah has issues and runs away rather than commit to anything (according to his sister), he knows that Emma is a good girl, she is his friend's little sister, and so although he is attracted to her he tries to stay away because 1) bro-code 2) he will leave and break her heart 3) he isn't worthy.
The novel felt like a lot of rinse and repeat: Noah hits on Emma, they agree to forget it happen; Noah kisses Emma, they agree to forget it happens; they have sex, Noah promises to call, he doesn't; they have sex, Noah promises to call, he doesn't, etc. I thought Emma came across as a doormat sobbing all day long over a man she hasn't even got a proper adult relationship with. Noah didn't come across much better, he was weeping and a wailing and wringing his hands so often it got tiresome.
Overall, this didn't work for me. However, I still enjoy Noelle Adams' novels and I look forward to reading Ginny's book - there is obviously a history there which is heavily hinted at in this book.
