Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange of an honest review.

Well, this book was a really pleasant surprise. I thought it was going to be a cute, fluff romance but it was so much more. The fact that the author kept me guessing and the story included rescue dogs is just bonus.

This is the 3rd book in a series, which I didn't realize but could easily be a stand alone.

I was offered a copy of this book from the Author through NetGalley, and even though I am usually cautious about jumping into a series, but since I usually love anything to do with dogs I took a chance. I feel bad but I DNF the book, perhaps because I was not familiar with the main character from the previous books? But there was just too much going wrong at the wedding that it was laughable and instead of making me laugh it made me feel on edge. But I wanted to give the book a chance so I read on and when more disaster happened I gave up. So far not a dog in sight. I love to read to escape my daily stresses and escape into the world that an Author created, I don't like to add to my stress level. So with a heavy heart I gave up on the book, this does not happen to me very often because I generally pick books that appeal to me, clearly many readers love the series but it just did not do it for me. Perhaps if I read the series from the beginning I would change my mind?

This is the 3rd in the Rescue Dog Romance series, and focuses on wedding planner Zoe.

Well, this book really is a comedy of errors/a series of unfortunate events/series of disasters that keep on rolling one after the other.

It has humour, romance and dose of mystery thrown in there too. Nothing like a bit (or maybe a lot) of misdirection to keep the reader guessing.

Throw in wannabe rockstar Owen and his pursuit of our hapless leading lady, and you are in for a rollicking ride. He can stalk me any day he wants :D

I did feel that for a little while in the middle of the book, it did lose its way - but this could just be me. It felt like Zoe was forever dealing with the same kind of disaster, over and over. However once it got itself out of that loop things progressed well.

I adored seeing more of the characters from the first 2 books, the way their stories kept on developing through this third book.

I really have enjoyed this series, now I can't wait to see what Casey Griffin brings us next.

This story just didn't work for me, their was too much going on, one minute one person was sabotaging her then it was someone else and the romance just didn't feel the romantic chemistry, it was all a bit flat.

I loved the first two books in the series but here the heroine just didn't work for me and I wanted this book to work so bad. The author is a solid writer and know how to keep you engaged with the characters. Levi is what really made up for Zoe.

A Wedding Tail by Casey Griffin is spectacular. It combines murder, mystery, and romance into one amazing read. This is also a great book for animal lovers. Especially, those that love dogs. An adopted wiener ends up rescuing his adoptive mother from a murderer. She ends up saving the man who has become so much more to her than just hot kisses. Her heart is totally in love with him. Now, it's up for her to call the shots. The murderer was a character that I didn't expect to be the killer. Surprises are everywhere in this book. Humor, intrigue, heat, and an unforgettable emotional journey. Casey Griffin has once again, hooked me. Her books are worth reading. I was so happy that her latest novel, A Wedding Tail, turned out perfect. Crazy brides, a weddding gone wrong, a flirtatious man, someone sabotaging Zoe's business and much more...this, was one adventure I'll never forget. Hilarious, sweet, and engaging. Overall, I highly recommended this title to all.

A Wedding Tail by Casey Griffin is the 3rd book in her Rescue Dog Romance series. I did enjoy the previous books in this series; however I had mixed feelings about this book. I will go into that later.

Zoe Plum, our heroine, is a wedding planner, and a friend of our previous heroines (Addison & Piper). Zoe loves planning weddings, though she has sworn off men since she was left at the altar years before. The story begins with Zoe in the midst of making sure the wedding she is doing goes well, but it will turn out to be the wedding from hell, as everything goes wrong, which includes the best man claiming he loves his best friends bride to be. Needless to say, the wedding did not go off, but it will haunt Zoe for most of the story.

Levi Dolson ,our hero, is a musician with his own band. He is scheduled to be a groomsman, but he also does side things to make extra money, like play a piano, ride a horse or sing anything. Levi considers himself a catch or a womanizer, and he does everything to get Zoe’s attention. Though she has no interest, and with everything falling apart, Levi will be there every step of the way to try to help Zoe, and win her over. Levi also gets a kick out Zoe’s side business (selling sex toys).

What follows is a slow build romance, as well as a suspenseful story about who is trying to destroy Zoe by sabotaging everything she is involved in; whether it is destroying her van, framing her for various attacks, stealing her assistant, and destruction of her business and reputation. Zoe can’t seem to get a break, as she becomes a suspect in a possible murder. Levi will be there for her, as he is very persistent and a calming influence on her; slowly she begins to have feelings for him. We will also be introduced to Zoe’s new pet, as she ends up adopting a dachshund, Freddy, who was cute.

This had a good storyline, and the last third of the book was very exciting; especially with Zoe right in the middle of trying to save her friend from a serial murderer. I also loved Zoe’s two friends, whom we had met previously. What I had mixed feelings about was the wild craziness in the first half of the book, and the emphasis on the sex toys, which was intended to be funny, but it annoyed me more than making me laugh. I also did not really like Zoe, nor Levi early on. When the murder mystery element of the storyline picked up, I got to like our couple better and the suspense was very well done. Overall, this was a good story, but the humor was a bit over the top.

Fun, romantic read! First time reading this author, but will be going back to read others in the series.

This was another of the Rescue Dogs series, this time following Zoe's story. We get to see the characters from the previous two books, and follow along as someone is seemingly out to sabotage Zoe's wedding planner business. Rocker Levi comes in to the picture, but is he who seems to be? Then there's Zoe's traditional mom, who is pushing Zoe to enter in to an arranged marriage. Plenty of laughs, a good mystery, and some heat to keep things moving. A fun read.

Zoe Plum was one of the top wedding planners in San Francisco. She earned the title by always being prepared for every glitch that could possibly happen. Her talent is being sorely tested for the Fisher-Wells wedding, the event of the season. From broken a/c in the church, the priest sick, a Bridezilla who can't fit in her dress, and a very late groomsman, Zoe handles it all with her assistant Natalie. Her right hand for the last couple years, Natalie has seemed to be distracted, running late and just not her usual efficient self lately. A problem for another day. But this wedding is a train wreck.

Levi Dolan, musician, rocker extraordinaire is the substitute groomsman and not happy about it. The only positive in this event is meeting Zoe, who hustled him into wedding gear lecturing the whole time. Feisty.....he liked that. When he steps in as substitute organ player, Zoe is blown away. Turns out this is just the tip of the iceberg that is Levi. They are thrown together numerous times and when her personal life starts to get dangerous he steps up as savior and protector. Levi has his work cut out for him.

This novel is lighthearted, and the banter between Zoe and Levi is hysterical. The mystery will keep you guessing till the end, and the wiener dogs are everywhere.
You can't help but love Freddy, Zoe's rescue dog. My only disappointment was that the story seemed to carry on a little too long, but is still a delightful read.

I received this ARC from the publisher and Netgalley for an honest review.

I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy from the publisher of the third in the series that focuses on a dachshund rescue center or more on the folks who work and volunteer there. The heroine in this novel is Zoe, a strong, independent woman, who works as a wedding planner and also sells sex toys on the party plan as a side gig. From page one nothing goes right for Zoe. Everyone, it seems, is out to get her. The wedding she’s overseeing goes off the rails, then when exhibiting at a wedding show, nothing goes right. Her van is broken into and when she tries to drive it home, she doesn’t have brakes. Here is where I had a little problem with the plot. Since Zoe is such a strong character, I would have thought she would have done some investigating on her own to find out for sure who the culprit of all her troubles was. She did not.

She was very concerned about not letting a man into her life, though. I’m sure you know how that ends.

This series is starting to make an impression on me. I’m liking all the main characters and learning more about them and especially about their dogs. I highly recommend Casey Griffin’s books and hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I've really enjoyed all the books in this series, they're light-hearted and fun yet interesting as there's always a bit of a mystery running through them.

This one started off really well and we were thrown right into the story in the middle of a wedding with multiple disasters going on and Zoe, the main character and event planner, handling them all with her usual cool, until there was one disaster too many which was out of her hands. The bride then ambushed Zoe at a wedding expo she was at, telling everyone how useless she was and not to use her, even though it wasn't her fault. Then various disasters starting happening leading her to believe she was definitely being targeted by someone trying to put her out of business, and endangering her life on more than one occasion.

Zoe also had a sideline job selling sex toys and she did go on and on about her 'silicone friends' quite a lot which did get a bit much after a while. The dogs were much more in the background in this story, unlike the previous books, and I missed hearing more about them. It did pick up again nearer the end and the person responsible for Zoe's disasters was finally revealed, which I must admit I didn't see coming.

So a pleasant enough read, but not my favourite of the series so far, although it wouldn't put me off reading more in the 'Rescue Dog Romance' series because I did really enjoy the first two books.

This is the third book in the Rescue Dog Romance series and tells Zoe's story. Zoe Plum is a Japanese-American wedding planner who doesn't believe in romance. Since her own fiance left her at the alter about six years previously, she has buried her emotions and given up on men. She has a side business hosting parties and selling sex toys for Pure Pleasure and is a very good customer for their products. I just about gave up on this book because the first half had lots more to do with sex toys than rescued dachshunds.

The story begins at a wedding where everything goes wrong. From battling in-laws, to drunk relatives, to a church with broken air-conditioning in a heat wave, to a sick priest, a flower girl determined to release the doves into the church, a missing horse to assist in the new husband and wife's getaway, and a missing groomsman, everything is testing Zoe's ability to work under pressure. I believe that this whole set-up was designed to be funny but it missed the mark for me because I was seeing it through Zoe's humorless eyes.

The wedding fiasco does lead to the introduction of the hero. Levi Dolson is the missing groomsman. He is a musician and laid back person who falls for Zoe. Zoe doesn't do anything to encourage him which makes me wonder why he persists.

The wedding fiasco only begins Zoe's troubles. The disgruntled bride is trashing her reputation at a wedding expo, her booth has been changed from a prime location to the outskirts at that expo, her assistant jumps ship and hires on with Zoe's fiercest competitor, someone vandalizes her van and cuts its brake lines, someone bombs her office.

Through all this, she and Levi are trying to build a relationship through her cynicism and distrust and their different goals.

This ended up being a nice romance and the mystery was resolved too. Along the way Zoe does rescue a dachshund to be her companion. Freddy is an interesting character in his own rite who adds some humor to the story.

I really loved this story, I loved how Casey Griffin had you guessing until the last moment of who had done it. Really well written. I would love to read more of Casey's future stories.

a cute good read. I liked this book.

I have not read all the books in this series, but I think, after reading this one, this is my least favorite. In this story, Zoe Plum, a wedding planner, does not particularly like weddings until she meets Levi Dolson, singer in a local band. Zoe tries hard to do a good job on all her weddings, but sometimes things do not go as smoothly as they should. Still, she tries hard. As a modern girl, Zoe feels she has everything she needs, without a man by her side or a ring on her finger. She has picked out a house to buy. She has he second job selling toys (yes, that kind). As can be expected, her mother wants to arrange a marriage for her, one Zoe does not want under any circumstance. Then Levi, with his perseverance and patience, enters the picture, and things change, as he keeps showing up everywhere.

This book is an okay, quick read, good for a summer vacation or beach trip. The story is funny and quirky Zoe, with all her problems, comes across as an okay, trying-hard kind of girl. I did not particularly take to Levi from the start. I just did not like how his personality was portrayed. Still, together, Levi and Zoe seems to work well through the story. As I said, this will not be my favorite in the story. I did enjoy the inclusion of Zoe’s dog—I love dogs, but I wish there had been more of that. I received this to read and review from NetGalley

Of the three books in the series, this is my favorite. The action is nonstop and a roller coaster ride from beginning to end. The author has once again written a delightful story that runs the gamut of romance, humor, mystery, and misdirection...with a cast of characters who'll steal your heart...and that's not just the furry four legged ones.

With Zoe you get a quirkiness that you can't help but love...her inner monologues come spewing out of her "bottle o'crazy", often fighting for attention from all the other emotional bottles she's constantly switching between in her mind. These moments are some of funniest in the entire book. For a woman who insists that she'll never let another man into her life, after having been left at the alter, her barriers are no match for Levi and his undeterred and patient persistence.

The story moves so quickly that you'll never guess "who done it" even when it's staring you in the face. All in all, this is a story that'll keep you laughing while at the same time it touches your heart.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and Netgally, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
