Calista Fox does it again with The Bosses. It's a sexy romance that hits all the right notes and makes you fall in love with Bayli, Rory and Christian right from the start.
Bayli has moved to New York finally able to pursue her dream of modeling, but at 27 she is having a hard time finding work. Knowing if she doesn't find something steady soon she won't be able to stay she applies at the cities newest restaurant and when she runs into the sexy chef and co-owner things go bad quickly. Determined to get the job she arranges a meeting with Christian the other half who owns the restaurant and impresses him and then some. After a fabulous night with Christian she learns that Rory is just as attracted to her and then starts a romance between the three that is nothing that any of them expected.
With each book Calista Fox keeps getting better and better. She has a way that gives her readers all that they are looking for romance and seduction that is sexy and oh so very hot. I love that Rory and Christian each have their own relationship with Bayli along with the three of them. The dialog is honest and truthful and doesn't come off forced or scripted. We do get to see Jewel and Scarlett again which I love and meet a few new characters along the way.
The Bosses is a fantastic read that I highly recommend.
I've read a few novellas from this author and while they were good, they were quick stories that didn't delve too deeply into character development. I'm glad to see when the author does write a full length novel, the character development is there. This is my favorite book I've read so far from Calista Fox and would love to see her write more full length novels if they are anything like this book. I do think the series title is a bit misleading. This was more a ménage a trois than a love triangle. There was some adjustments but they all wanted each other in their lives. You don't need to read book 1 before reading this one, it is a standalone. We do get a little bit of Jewel from the first book as well as Scarlett, who was set up nicely for her own book. I'm intrigued by the pieces of information we got about her and the step brothers. ARC provided by NetGalley.
Bayli has finally followed her dream and is living in Manhattan and working jobs for a modeling agency. The only problem is that she can only afford an efficiency in a poor part of town. She applies for a job as hostess in the newest 5 star steak house owned by Christian and Rory. When Rory slams into her, knocks her down and kicks her as he bursts through the kitchen door when she's on the other side,, she knows she's lost that chance. Then she meets Christian at a posh party where she is serving and, immediately feels the extreme heat generated between them. They both follow through but, Bayli is confused as she runs into Rory again and feels the same heat with him. Rory and Christian know that Bayli is the "one" but, it's a lot harder for them to convince her that she could possibly be worth the effort for not one but two men to love forever.
Great beginning and middle. Ending was a bit predictable.

There is something about a good billionaire story that can really make for a pleasurable read. Steamy scenes, especially when a MFM scenario is involved. What's not to love?
This is my third book by Calista Fox and I have enjoyed them all. This one has a great plot and well developed characters that you actually like. The hotness factor of the guys is a plus too! And the hot and heavy scenes will make you sweat!
As in any menage, you get the typical back and forth, good girl/bad girl scenario but once that barrier is crossed, it's all in. I loved the beginning and the middle of the story but as it started to wind down, it became very typical and even predictable.
Great writing and the ability to stay entertained and flipping pages in anticipation for more steam is what I look forward to in a Calista Fox story. She always delivers.
The Bosses was my first read by Calista, and it won't let be my last. I truly enjoyed her writing style and the way that she has the perfect mixture of heat, passion, and a story that is easy to get lost in. One of my favorite things about The Bosses is that there is a solid story behind the incredibly hear that Bayli, Christian, and Rory bring to the pages.
Watching these three navigate a relationship was enchanting, fun, and steamy. I loved every minute of it. The Bosses is the second book in the Lover's Triangle series. I have not read the first book, but it didn't impact the way I felt about the second one. I am anxious to read the next book which is a couple of months away, but I can almost guarantee it'll be worth the wait.
calista fox is always good for a nice, super steamy read, and that's what you get in the billionaires: the bosses. christian davila and rory st. james have been business partners and friends since their college days. christian is intense and analytical, while rory is fiery and impulsive, together they balance each other out. given their propensity to be attracted to the same women, it's no surprise that over time they've shared them.
from the moment they meet bayli styles they know she is the missing piece to their next venture. it's no surprise that they are both attracted to her, and she is attracted to both of them too. one of her best friends enjoys a ménage relationship, so after a little advice, she jumps right into one with rory and christian.
the plot here is rather thin and secondary to all the sex, but it's not a bad story. watching bayli and christian and rory come together and work out a relationship that works is enjoyable. and even though it was super obvious who the villain was in the bit of suspense that was built into the story, it did add a little extra something.
I loved The Billionaires: The Bosses!! Calista Fox has such a writing style that she just sucks you in from the first paragraph! This book was very enjoyable and I devoured every last page like I was starving!
Bayli moves to New York to try to make her mark in the world of modeling. Unfortunately, it's slow going. She inquires about a hostess position in the newest trendy restaurant owned by billionaires and best friends, Rory and Christian. It doesn't go good as mishaps with Rory occur. She needs the money and definitely wants the exposure this restaurant could offer her. Her only chance is to make an impression on Christian-who just happens to be attending a party she is working at that weekend.
Well not only did Bayli make an impression, the world as each man knew it immediately changed! Both of them are insanely attracted to her, but they also have a project that's been on the back burner that she is perfect for. This could be her big break! Can she keep her professional and private lives apart??
I loved Bayli! She has a heart of gold and is so driven to succeed! She's OCD about it in fact. When she meets these guys she's knows what she wants instantly. I liked that she accepted what she wanted and that was because she was comfortable in her own skin. Yes, she wasn't as experienced as she would've liked, but Rory and Christian were far from minding! Of course both of these guys are like a cool drink of water, extremely forthright, and really down to earth guys! Christian understood Bayli a bit more only because they had similar backgrounds. I liked both of them! They were protective of Bayli and truly wanted to give her anything they could. Like any relationship, they just needed to find their footing. And they did! Talk about spiciness!! Whew! They chemistry between them was astounding to read! I was totally invested in these guys because I could feel their passion!
The Billionaires: The Bosses can be read as a stand alone book. There are overlapping characters from book one, The Billionaires, but you don't need to read that one first to enjoy this. I would recommend both books in the Lover's Triangle series and I can not wait for book three, The Billionaires: The Stepbrothers!! Pure yumminess!

The Billionaires: The Bosses by Calista Fox
Lover’s Triangle #2
Bayli Styles has spent most of her life caring for her mother so when she finally has the opportunity to live her dreams of living in New York while pursuing a modeling career – she grabs it – even if it means hard work, multiple jobs and living in shoebox.
The story opens with Bayli applying for a job and her interaction with Chef Rory St. James leaves her feeling it was a fiasco SO she decides to approach Christian Davila at an event to see if the job she wants to have might come through him rather than Rory.
Both men are impressed by Bayli and see her in their lives working in one of their projects but also as their partner in bed as part of a ménage relationship. Bayli is equally attracted to both men so the get acquainted period begins.
There is a fly in the ointment with a baddie to be dealt with AND that part of the story was rather predictable. The rest of the story was fine and perhaps without the fly the story, for me, would have been better. That said, I liked Bayli’s relationship with her friends and look forward to reading Scarlet’s story next.
Thank you to Net Galley and St. Martin’s Press – Swerve for the ARC – This is my honest review.
3 Stars
Bayli knows what she wants and she is going to work damn hard to get somewhere. Christian & Rory both like what they see and they both want her but will she be game. Bayli is attracted to both men but could she really allow them both to make love to her or will she back out?
Can they really make this work or will a fling be for the best? But could they walk away now as they are all in so deep, there is no going back now.
A good solid read. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for my honest review.
This isn't my first Calista Fox book, but it is my first in this series (which is no big deal). I think she reached a little too far with this one. It drags a bit in places and while steamy and hot, it's a bit predictable and way too easy to skip over parts.
Overall, well written and hot, just not a ton of things to sink your teeth into.
This was an enjoyable and engaging story. That quickly caught my interest and then held it throughout. As the story itself was not only good but hot. As the characters really sizzled and shared plenty of chemistry. Which for me is really important. Especially in a mènage a trois story and I liked how their shared relationship progressed. However I wasn't expecting the stalker element and when it happened it did seem a little rushed and obvious as to who was behind it. That being said though, it was still an enjoyable read and I can definitely see myself checking out more books by Calista Fox in the future.

This book was gifted to me for a voluntary review. The review and ratings are solely my opinions.
This series continues to add the spice, pun intended, with Celebrity chef Rory St. James heating up the kitchen. And his partner, Christian Davila, keeping things hot out of the kitchen. Bayli Styles doesn't have much good going on for her, buried under bills that she doesn't see a way out. However, she has one big thing going for her, she's driven. Research is the key to her success and knowledge can certainly be a powerful thing. But can Bayli take on the duo of Christian and Rory without getting burned? Will she be able to create the stable environment she has craved? Don't wait to find out, check out the newest installment in this sexy series.
The Billionaires: The Bosses, is the first book that I have red by Calista Fox and it was a such a fun read. Bayli has had a tough life, but she doesn't let anything get her down and she is determined to make her dreams come true and it is during this time that a job interview leads had to a chance encounter with Rory a world renowned chef whose restaurant she is try to work it. Unfortunately things don't go as planned and her interview is ruined, but Bayli being Bayli decides to show Rory and she could be an asset to his restaurant and decides to show this to Rory's business partner Christian and what an impression she makes! Now both Rory and Christian have plans for Bayli and it is so much more then she could have ever imagined. This is such a sweet love story with some very sexy scenes!
This book came across very well and I am very glad I got the opportunity to read it. I will have a full review on release week!
Hot and dirty ménage? Count me in!
From the first couple of pages, I was sucked into Bayli, Rory and Christian’s world. It was a sexy, sultry place and I didn’t want to leave.
Bayli was out to make something of herself. She sought fame and fortune, but she also wanted love and a life. Rory and Christian have spent their lives proving themselves as brilliant entrepreneurs—Christian running the business while Rory rules from behind his chef coat. Two brilliant minds in gorgeous, muscular packaging sought the one woman that they could share forever and make a future—and they both determine that woman is Bayli.
Menage stories can be challenging to read . . . sometimes you just struggle to understand the depth of the connection between all three of the characters, but that isn’t something that happened with The Billionaires: The Bosses. The friendship between Rory and Christian is strong. They love and respect each other. And Bayli makes them better. The interaction between the three of them was smart and hella sexy. I’m looking forward to more in the Lover’s Triangle series. ~Missy, 4 stars
No one writes menage romance like Calista Fox. Her writing is nothing less than spectacular and smoking hot. The beginning relationships between Bayli, Christian, and Rory starts out on uneven footing; with each of them holding a part of themselves back because they are not sure what they want. Eventually as things start to become more obvious to them someone takes notice and tries to change things. I loved this book. Thank you NeTGalley and Calista Fox for allowing me to read and give a honest review of this book.
