Kellee is missing with no memory and needs Eagan, sent by her father, to be her protector against the danger of her past. Good suspense and story line in this 2nd book in the northstar security series

I had read book three of this series, and loved it, so when I came across this one, I hoped it would be another winner, and it was.
If you enjoy strong male and female characters, an engaging plot line, suspense, complexity in the intrigue, Russian mafia and of course, romance, this one is for you.
The premise of the story is that the man in charge of Northstar Securities, Byron O’Neil, asks Egan, an ex-Seal, to find his missing daughter. He is struggling with this request, since he has had feelings forever for Kellee.
Kellee also had a crush on him. She is now caught in a storm and to makes things worse, is kidnapped. I loved her resourcefulness , even when after an accident she develops amnesia. Needless to say, when Egan finds her, she doesn’t recognize him , and that’s when things get more complex.
Things that were thought to be true in her life, are not, there is a gray area of right and wrong, and never a dull moment in this dynamic story.
So be prepared for a rollercoaster ride.

She just opens the door without checking to see who it is first? And she's a city girl?

He gets attacked by the person he's trying to rescue, and then he gets suspended for trying to defend himself? That's so unfair!

She should tell Egan about the creepy guy and what he said.

Ooh, bad choice of words, buddy.

They keep seeing suspicious-looking men, but they don't make sure they're not being followed?

She's got balls, that's for sure.

Geez, they're actually being nice to a thug who tried to kill them.

Poor Rory was killed by friendly fire.

Byron should have never involved others in his private war with this guy.
