I feel I have read quite a bit about Victoria. She defined an age. There is so many interesting topics surrounding her and her reign. This book was good enough, but didn’t particularly bring up any new information for me. A good read though.

This was a light and comprehensive read. However, there was no new information on Queen Victoria that has not already been discussed before. Therefore, it felt more like a rehash on the facts I already know. I would recommend The Young Victoria for those who do not know much about her.

A highly readable account of Queen Victoria's early years.

This was my first time digging into the life of Queen Victoria. While most books that I found on her seemed to cover her life as a whole, this book covered her early years, which I was most thankful for. I felt that it gave me the opportunity to really get to know her and her character. It was very well written, easy to read and highly enjoyable. What a fascinating queen!
