This book confused me just a little. I know the intention was to teach children about the fundamentals of the 10 commandments in a simple, easy to understand way for children, but it did not hit the mark for me. It really talks about good values, morals and judgements but was not true enough to the real thing for me. There were some activities at the end of the book that could be used to reinforce the various lessons. The illustrations were very bright, colourful and attractive for children.
This is a nice book with good illustrations but I'm not religious so maybe this did affect the rating I have given the book of three stars. Whilst the book is nice, it's not something that I would look to get for my new daughter at home but I'd be happy to let her pick something like this when she is older if she wanted to do so. I do understand the message but I'm not sure that it comes across in the best way for a book aimed at children.
