I loved this. It was easy to read and follow, and the explanation of scriptures was awesome! I highly recommend!

I really, really enjoyed Dr. Merritt's heart for God. I wouldn't subtitle the book "Fall in love with the book that changed everything," but "fall in love with the Author of the book that changed everything." Slightly different, but of course, that's what this book is really about: learning about God's plan for this world and the people in it, both of which he loves so much.

Dr. Merritt's God-loving heart shines through on every page as he highlights 52 of the most important scripture passages and themes of the Bible.

If you're already familiar with the Bible, you probably won't find much new here. There wasn't a passage he highlighted that I hadn't read many times before. But the order in which he combined them was very effective, as well as what he had to say about each theme.

If you're a newer Christian, this is a MUST READ.

This is a really good read.
You can either read it in one sitting or use the additional readings to really get a handle on the scripture as you use the rest of the week to meditate on the different scriptures supporting each section.
I recommend this book to give readers a closer walk with God.

52 Weeks through the Bible Devotional - what can I say - coodos to y'all. - the author - for being so creative in your thinking and getting the Scriptures across to wonderfully like this when they say, "Do you know why we always say yes to GOD? GOD wants to work through our yes to accomplish HIS best. When we say yes to GOD, we get Blessed and we become a Blessing." Wow isn't that awesome and it gets even better. They have you read Galations 3:5-9 - Abraham said yes to GOD and man you know or can read the incredible things GOD did through his yes. Amen? and this is just one of the days example - there are 52 weeks of them - go be Blessed.

This is a nice weekly bible study. I would have preferred a daily devotion, but this is in depth and nice to ponder on during the week.

A nice devotional. I liked the readings and the discussion for the most part, but wish it had a bit more organization per each day. At times I was not sure when one ended and the next one started. Would recommend.
