The synopsis behind this book intrigued me so much back when I read it for the first time.
I loved the mystery and intrigue surrounding pierce's plane crash. And wanted to know what had happened and why all the secrecy.

And all that right there was enough to get me begging topic this baby up.

And I honestly loved every page.
Kate was just one of those characters that you feel so much for in the beginning and can't help but sympathies with. And then the crazy mind bend of finding Pierce.

For such a huge shock my girl really holds herself together. And I love how she deals with it all and makes her decisions for the rest of the book.

And then Pierce. I still don't know if I really like the dude or want to smack him on Kate's behalf haha

All in all this book was just so good. And I enjoyed every twist and turn it made.

This story was complicated but really awesome!!! The heroine thought her husband was dead but he wasn't and then the story that follows is both heartwarming and heartbreaking for the year that she does without him. This was overall a really great book!!!

These two together can do no wrong. Two amazing authors wrote a very amazing book. Really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend you read this.

I love every Misadventures book I have read! I think I likes this one best of all... because of the love they had for each other. Meredith Wild and Helen Hardy did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and sharing the connection that couldn’t keep these people apart!

Another awesome sizzling romance with a MAJOR twist! Really enjoyed this collaboration - have been following Meredith Wild for a while. Now will have to check out more of Helen Hardt as well!

A story of protection and trust

From the very beginning I was sucked in. I really didn't want to put this one down. This is a fantastic read by Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt. You could just feel the love and the emotions between Kate and Price. You feel for Kate and you will feel for Price. Yes there are times you weren't sure if you want to smack the living crap out Price or not. But this one wow will take you on a ride. This book is full of suspense, action, romance and sex, yes, sex.

Kate was happy in her normal life....until her she finds out her husband Price dies in a plane crash. At that moment, her world comes crashing down around her. The next two years are spent in a fog, until her former sister in law convinces her to go in a tropical vacation. Little does she know, that vacation will change her life.


Price has lived a life on the run ever since sometime tried to murder him...and almost succeeded. He is tired of living a half-existence, though, and finally caves into the temptation to reach out to his wife. This isn’t your typical reunion, though. In addition to catching up on the time they missed, they also have to deal with the would-be murderers potentially catching up with them as well.


I would give this book 3.5 stars. It isn’t your typical romance! I was asked by the author for an honest review.

This book had me completed hooked! I couldn't put it down! Price and Kate completely pulled me into their world and took me on this wild ride they were on. My heart broke for Kate and I felt her confusion and frustration when she saw Price again. Price's love and devotion to his wife were apparent. This book held my attention and I didn't want to put it down. I would have loved the story to have been longer with more details, but the story told was complete. It was a great read!

Best yet of the series! I’m so excited every time I get to read one of these books, I know it’s going to be amazing and it always is!

Once again these authors have written a story that I absolutely loved reading, with a story line that was completely enjoyed reading and characters that I loved. This was an amazing addition to this series and I cant wait to read more.

Oh my god this is awful. I signed up to read 3 books of this series without knowing what I was getting into. They're all awful.

Price has been dead for a year, but now his sister takes his wife on vacation to a beautiful beach, and there he is. Of course he faked his own death to escape from criminals who are after him. Kate knows that he is lying to her and not telling her the whole story, and decides she's had enough - she needs the facts. And then he tells her no, and they have sex. And this is the basic story line, over and over.

Price is creepy possessive - he is "leaving no room for disobedience". There is no romance in this book. He freaks out that Kate even thought about sleeping with another man (but didn't!) even though he was supposed to be dead. She finds out he's been hiding money for years, well before this, and gets angry, and then - well, okay - and sleeps with him. Dialogue and storyline is actually repeated. A character will say something on one page, and then the exact same thing 2 pages on, maybe worded in a very slightly different way.

The "plot" is ridiculous, the dialogue is horrible, and is only a method of getting from one sex scene to another.

This was a quick and dirty—emphasis on the dirty—romantic suspense, second chance romance. While I enjoyed the suspense elements of the story and the relationship between Price and Kate, I wish there had been a bit more story, a little less sex... I found myself skimming and skipping some of their sexy times because I wanted to know what was happening with the suspenseful parts, I wanted the story to progress. I did enjoy it and the excellent outcome!

Out of all The Misadventures books i think this has to be my favourite so far.
There is an exciting adventure as well as the romance in this book. The story begins with a widow mourning the loss of her husband in an aeroplane crash. After a year she is still living a shattered existence and is almost forced into escaping to a villa by her sister in law. The adventure and excitement build from that point on.

Imagine having the love of your life taken from you and living with the grief and heartbreak for a whole year only to find out they’d been alive all along.

Kate and Price had the type of love that people dream of. They were perfectly matched and on their way to forever when an tragedy strikes. My heart broke for Kate when she lost Price and I wondered right along with her how she’d ever move on. This book was an unexpected roller coaster ride for me. I think Misadventure is an understatement. This was a drama in book form.

I enjoyed this book, some parts more than others. Overall good read and solid book 2 in this Misadventures series.

This is the second installment in the Misadventures Series by 2 of my favourite writers. I always strive to be honest when it comes to reviewing my top authors. I have no problem in saying that this was a delight to read. The story begins with Kate mourning the loss of her husband in a tragic accident for over a year. Her sister-in-law convinces her to go to an island destiny for what she believes to be just for R&R. She is shocked to find her husband alive and this is now an unbelievable reunion. As Kate is reeling from finding out her husband is now alive, she now had to question her husband as to why he has been keeping secrets from her all this time. As the story unravels we journey with the husband and wife as we learn the reasons why he stayed away for a year and also all the risks he has taken to be with his wife. Will love conquer all? You will have to read to find out all the answers. I recommend this highly
