It's easy to see with this book why these are my two favorite writers. The love story is timeless, there is suspense and most importantly very hot steamy scenes!!! Review on good reads

Misadventures of a Good Wife was a great read written by two of my favorite authors and I was hooked from page one! Kate is fiery, witty and funny and Price was intelligent and just plain sexy. They had a love that transcended even death and their reunion heartwarming and hot. The story was fast paced with lots of twists and suspense. Oh and did I forget to mention that the sex was HOT. This is a definite must read.

OK i liked the idea behind this story and the characters were well written, It did take me a little bit to get into but once i did i really enjoyed it, This isn't just a love story it more than that. I won't give anything away, But it does have a HEA.

I enjoyed the suspense of this book, mixed with the lust and love of the main couple. Very easy to read and hard to put down once you've started! Highly recommend.

This was a good addition to the series. It was part mystery but definitely romance. He is reported killed in a plane crash. She is in mourning for a year until her sister in law books an exotic vacation for them to a small isolated island. They get there and her husband appears. She thinks it is a dream but it is real. They have a choice now do they continue on the run or do they stand and fight for their future? I definitely enjoyed their journey and misadventure.

Love these authors but unfortunately I couldn't get I to this book. I read about 30 pages in and still wasn't catching me.

Misadventures of a Good Wife is an amazing story. The story kept me captivated from start to finish. It was well written and some suspense. The characters Kate and Price Lewis were so genuine, you could feel their love pooring off the pages. Highly entertaining read!

If you want a book with tons of steamy sex and intense chemistry then this book is for you. Kate and Price couldn't keep their hands (or mouths) off each other. I would have loved more story development outside of the steamy scenes.

Wowzah Book Lovers, I was NOT expecting such a raunchy tail.
For this only reason, I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5, I felt that it needed a little bit more of a story line, it was hot and I really enjoyed that it was well paced and no dawdling.
So much sex, so if you are looking for a good time, don’t shy away from this story.
Kate and Price have this crazy love, combustible chemistry that ignites of the pages.
It was a great read, I really enjoyed the writing style in this one. I couldn’t even tell the duo apart. I really that we can’t. I haven’t read any from both authors before, and I am curious to check out their other words.
The mystery suspense in the story kept me on my toes, I wanted to know the how’s, where’s and whys.
The characters, Kate at times annoyed me, and I really loved Price was so freaking hot, you can’t not like him.
The story is long and not too short either, I think if you’re looking for something filled with sex, no angsty drama, the couple is established and when you start you will be hooked.
I am loving this Misadventures series so far, not only do you get sexy time you are getting some great stories.
This one is a great suspense romance story, second chance love at its best.

WOW that's all i can say about this book. The story plot was good, kind of a mystery until the very end, but the sex. If you like books with a lot of sex in this, this book is for you. This is a story about a man who uncovered some bad things against a company and then had to run and hide to save his wife and his extended family. He has his sister set up a meeting for him and his wife. When they meet, she can't believe that it's him. They have a couple or 3 days together, then they head back to NY and things go wacky (in a good way (for this book)). It held my attention and i finished it in just one day. I received an ARC from the author for a honest review and that has no baring on my review.

I loved this story. I could not get enough of the story of Kate and Price. I could not put book down once started.

I love these two authors and although I liked the book I did not love it as I have their writing in the past. The book didn't keep my attention as well as others have in Misadventures.

Kate and Price have a great marriage when suddenly it’s over. Price is dead and Kate must learn to live without him. Now she’s going on vacation with her sister-in-law. Who wants to go to a remote island in the South Pacific? Not her but away they go. But wait! Who is that on the beach? What has happened that Price would have to be dead for her to be safe? This was a really good book with a twist. The story makes excellent sense with a twist of suspense and action. And let’s not forget it is a romance book so we do have the romance in there, too. The FBI even appears in this story. I enjoyed reading it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley.

Loved this book filled with mystery, action, danger, intrigue and suspense. Imagine your surprise when your dead husband walked towards you. Kate lost her soulmate a year ago. Pierce has a secret and misses his wife and makes a decision that puts them both in danger. Recommended read

Okay, but didn't hold my interest. Not bad, just not my taste.

Oh I do wish that the title were true. This book doesn’t even include an adventure for the wife, whether or not she was good.

Her husband on the other hand does have some adventures.

Again, a lack of humour and an over concentration on sex means little room for the story and thus soon gets boring.

This book tries to be some sort of suspense romance with a plot about how a husband is presumed dead, but actually hiding from a murderous group of thugs running a billion dollar corporation. After a year spent grieving, Kate goes on a vacation with her sister-in-law only to find that her beloved husband is still alive. He wants her to leave her life and hide away forever with him and she wants him to try to fight back so they can recover their previously happy lives.

That sounds like a decent plot and would have made a good suspense/romance except there isn’t much more to the plot than that quick summary. Most of it is her trying to get him to tell her exactly what has been going on or them telling each other how much they love each other while having hot sex over and over and over again. I’m not squeamish about sex in a romance novel but there should be more than a basically 1:1 ratio between sex scenes and all the rest of the book. If there is going to be a suspense/thriller sort of plot, put more effort into it. Other writers can have both sex and plot development with scenes that build up the suspense, but this just falls flat. And it all get resolved very quickly without any effort by the hero or heroine. They’re just lucky. I found myself skimming through the book just to find a bit more of the exposition, but it was buried in pages and pages of sex scenes. If that is what you enjoy, this book will be a great read for you. If not, go elsewhere for your reading enjoyment.

This was the first book in this series! I loved it. The authors laid out the plot elements and developed very likeable characters that had me wanting them to find their HEA. Very good book!
