*Crush* by Gary Paulsen is a fun and lighthearted read that perfectly captures the awkwardness of first crushes and teenage emotions. Gary Paulsen is so popular in my library, and this book is no exception! Readers will love Kevin’s humorous and sometimes cringe-worthy attempts to navigate the world of relationships. While it’s not as action-packed as some of Paulsen’s other books, it’s still an entertaining and relatable story that keeps readers engaged. A great choice for middle-grade readers looking for a mix of humor and heart!
