Macomber pens a powerful, emotional, and inspiration novel in Any Dream Will Do. The characters are relatable, likeable, and easy to love. My only regret is that the story ended. I was ready for more!

I received a complimentary copy of this novel and was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Years ago, I got to know Debbie Macomber’s fiction when I read her series that began with 16 Lighthouse Road. I enjoyed spending time with those who lived in Cedar Cove and, from that point on, kept a look out for this author’s novels. She writes easy to read books with characters who are nice.

This title is not part of that series. It is about Shy who has been released from prison after doing something that she felt that she had to do. Now she is starting again and has met a young pastor. The two seem to be hitting it off, even though Drew’s congregation has doubts. Will love triumph? (Hint: it usually does in Macomber’s books.)

In addition to getting to know Shay and Drew, other characters and a community come to life. Spend time here if you are looking for a not too stressful and enjoyable read.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for this title.

When you read a Debbie Macomber book, you know exactly what you are going to get: heartwarming tear jerker with the main character struggling through a hardship and something alters their direction and all is good in the world. And knowing this, sometimes this kind of book is exactly what you need to read. Any Dream Will Do is part of her New Beginnings series and that’s just what this book is: new beginnings for the characters. Reads exactly like a tear jerker Hallmark movie, it is the perfect spring time read!

***This ARC was provided by Netgalley for an honest review***

Shay is a hardworking young lady who takes a wrong turn trying to help her younger brother. Her wrong turn sends her to prison for a couple years. Once she’s released with very little money and no where to go she wonders in to a church and meets Drew.
Drew is the pastor of the church where Shay wondered in to. After explaining why she was there Drew offered to help find her a place to live. Shay found luck when she was least expected it. She was accepted into a rehabilitation center that would work to help her get back on her feet.
Drew being the single father of two young kids whose mother had passed away from cancer becomes very fond of Shay.
Watching their relationship develop was my favorite part of this book. Everyone needs help once in a while and this story goes to prove that kindness always pays off.

Yet again another great story by Debbie Macomber. A fantastic best selling author, she never disappoints. I've read and enjoyed her books for years and always get excited when a new releases. She crafts a story about family and healing between two people that you might never think would be together. Of course, don't forget to add a smidge drama to stir the pot. I loved this book and definitely recommend it.

This book is one of Ms. Macomber's best books! The plot as well as the characters were very well developed and made me want to read the story. The characters will well developed and inteseresting. Too, this book made me think, made me examine my own values and actions towards those who were coming out of prison. Do I treat them as redeemed? As guilty forever?

This book made me examine my on life and how I treat others.

I have loved this author for a long time.

This series is all about second changes, and this book is no exception. I love that it contained hope, love and redemption.

She has a way of drawing you in and making you feel you know the characters!

I love Debbie Macomber's books and "Any Dream Will Do" is a really great story. Even though there are no illicit, romantic scenes it is a love story. Since I am currently subbing in the lower grade levels I wouldn't introduce this book to a young child. I think that it would be okay for 16+ years of age if they were inclined to read it.

I love Debbie Macomber books so I'm a little partial but this is a fun read. Its a a beautiful story about second chances, love, trust, faith, and redemption
I hated for this one to end.

A wonderful story of redemption and second chances. Debbie Macomber has done a great job of bringing us realistic characters who will touch your heart. Fast-paced and full of tender moments. A widowed pastor with two young children gets a new spark when he meets and counsels Shay. Touching and tender. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Perfect for fans of Macomber, I'd recommend Any Dream Will Do to anyone who enjoys gentle romance. This is not really my subgenre any more, but I can appreciate the craftsmanship apparent here.

Any Dream Will Do by Debbie Macomber is a novel about a woman namedShay Benson. Shay loves her brother so much that she lets him borrow money and thus the problems begin. Shay is forced to start her life over again with very little left to her name. Caden does not pay his sister back and she is left penniless. Shay meets a widowed pastor of a church and it is there that I enjoyed this novel most. Shay's brother, Caden, was not an easy character to relate to for me. I found it difficult to understand how a man could treat his sister they way he did. I do understand family loyalty, however, and Shay manifests loyalty to Caden to the detriment of her own well being. I have read many of Ms. Macomber's novel and this one does not disappoint.

Have you ever loved someone so deeply that you will do anything for them? Even break the law? Well Shay has and she has made some really bad judgement calls because of that love. Soon she finds herself in a church looking for some type of guidance. Will she find the answers to the direction she needs to go in?
A great read for the beach!

Debbie Macomber has a way of writing that pulls the reader into the story and makes you feel as though you truly know the characters and are a part of their lives! This book was no exception. A story of love and second chances, you'll find yourself entangled in this story shortly after you begin reading it.

I had to go back and read the other books before reading this one. I enjoyed them all but this one and book two were my most fave out of the four! I loved how this book shown how Ea was able to start her life over and hoping that the next one will show her brother being the next one.

I enjoyed this book. It easily could have come across as "preachy" given that the main character was a minister, but fortunately, it did not. It was clear that faith played an important role in the characters' lives, but Ms. Macomber didn't allow the religious message to be overwhelming.
